Delightful nature park, not too far from the Sydney CBD. Several bird species were observed, including ducks, water fowl, cormorants, a pair of Black Swans, and the ubiquitous Ibis. The ponds also contain fish, during our visit we also saw an eel. Sydney Park is a nice place to visit to get away from the hustle-bustle of the city, it is fairly quiet, save for the noise of traffic near the park boundaries, and the occasional sounds of aircraft taking off from the nearby airport. Well maintained walking paths criss-cross the park, if you do elect to step off the paths, remember that this is a dog-friendly park, so tred carefully lol. Having said that, I did observe several dog owners diligently cleaning-up their dog's mess, and the 100 or so dogs I saw all appeared to be well socialised and on their best behaviour.

Restrooms
The restrooms I saw appeared to be rather Spartan, yet were clean and well maintained.
Dog-friendliness
Plenty of room for dogs to exercise, I saw at least one water tap and water bowl provided so dogs can slake their thirst, plastic bags used to clean up dog poo were also provided.
This beautiful spot is ideal for bird watching. There are benches nearby to relax or one can go for a leisurely walk. Frogs could be heard, though I couldn't spot any. It's much appreciated that such an island of beauty exists within the city. The area is dog friendly. There are a few cafes, within the park, not far from the wetlands. A visit is highly recommended.

Big park where you can do barbeque or enjoy with family including your pooch. There's wetland to see some ducks and birds, grassland for picnic and pooch to run around, playground and skateboarding. There's a few car parks around the park and could get busy during weekend evenings

The park and the wetlands are basically my back garden. I spent a lot of time here and I know the community equally spend time contributing their time to ensure the wildlife and plants here flourish. From a photography aspect, the stepping stones are the best place however it can be VERY busy on the weekends as it’s a popular feature in the park
Nice place with a person made waterfall. Unfortunately their are signs saying don’t let dogs in the water but people constantly do, ruining the environment for the native animals. Never seen a council ranger here in my life to police it. Signs are super small and it could easily be fixed with bigger and more no dog in water signs.
beautiful park great place for kids my son absolutely loved it. from the playground to the wetlands great place for them to run around and explore. Also, plenty of people bringing their pets for walks/runs seems like a perfect location for a picnic, bbq and just spend the day away.
Great park with lots of bird life to enjoy thanks to all the nesting areas that have been put in place at the park. Always popular are the family of black swans who reside on the waterway and whose antics keep us entertained.
I love this place. It was once a brick quarry which was repurposed as landfill but is now a landscaped park with wetlands. Great for walks, picnics, and family days out. It is also an off leash dog park, which is brilliant!
A superb inner city park, and the award-winning revamp is incredible. So many areas to explore. Fantastic for adults, kids, dogs and wildlife and you feel a million miles away from the nearby bustle of the city.
Favorite park to walk around in this area, definately the biggest. Lots of beautiful plants, veggie garden skate park. The whole lot. And a cafe in the middle near princes highway for coffee and snacks.
Love this park since the upgrades especially the water features designed for a healthy ecosystem Fun for kids too across stepping stones. Community garden is nice to wander eyeing the veggies grown.
Part of the Sydney Park precinct, it’s great to see a wildlife sanctuary in the heart of Sydney and a pleasant experience to walk around. You can spend 30 mins to an hour walking this area.
Glorious park, well maintained. Fantastic views of Sydney. Could do with a bit more cafe options.

Park is great, however the mess around the brickworks near the station is not very impressive.

Big inner city park . Dog friendly . Nice view over the city . A cafe really cool and different area to play and have rest . I loved that park .
Amazing Park to be active, practice your physical activity and watching birds. Insta @cangaussie for beautiful beach sarong designs.
Fantastic park and wetlands. Easy to access, lots of interesting areas, beautifully designed and a credit to Sydney!
Nicely designed wetlands regeneration, nice variety of flora and fauna to experience during a walk through the park.
I love this off leash dog park, great for exercising and the swans have signets at the moment.
