Edited to add - i have seen Courtney's response which is a hilarious fabrication of events. We didn't know we were moving for 2 months it was a last minute decision and we moved the date forward giving us 9 days to pack our large house. We were in constant contact that whole time though there was little need for any explanation and the front load was approved the day before because he was pushing for us to take that option because he happened to be going the same way. So yes we were unprepared which you said was fine you would come anyway. You were well aware we didn't even have moving boxes, that is how last minute the move was! If the bed was an issue someone could have mentioned it and we could have discussed how to proceed but to approach a customer with a half packed house and say you are done with no options isn't exactly dealing with a situation. I have reminded courtney that i have the dialogue between us too and the picture he is trying to paint here is far from the truth. Still no mention of any apology or any kind of claiming any wrongdoing but instead trying to make himself look good. Things go wrong we are human but it is truly how a business responds that is key. It is petty to try and take tiny bits of a huge conversation and twist the events to make me look wrong and you look right. Original post - The guys came to us and said they were done after the longest and slowest move day. One guy moved at a snails pace and was on his phone every time he came in the house. We would have been delighted that they were done packing the truck only they chose not to reference all the belongings still left in the house. They offered no suggestions as to what we should do given we had to vacate by the end of the day and move interstate. The truck was packed terribly and we had so many damaged items including our most precious ones. We had to spend our afternoon scrambling around trying to get neighbours to help and find another company to collect the rest of the belongings asap. We were told our appliances would be left open in storage to air and this wasn't done so everything was covered in mould. No one has apologised or contacted me other than to try and blame the issues on me saying the truck was full because our volume estimation was wrong despite Courtney saying he didn't think we had anywhere near the volume we had been quoted by 4 other companies. He also said we could use our small box trailer to take the rest knowing full well there was more than a tiny trailer load of stuff and we needed it for the 6 of us for the next month while we moved. Maybe a local move with a watchful eye might be ok but I would never use them for interstate or trust them to put items into storage. I am beyond disappointed and upset that we wasted our money and have items unable to be repaired. I've no doubt there will be a 'clever' response to this review too never accepting any wrong doing as per other reviews.

In our recent move from Sydney to Brisbane, Courtney and his partner took great care handling certain items like a glass cabinet and framed pictures but this was not consistent across the board. Numerous items were damaged, broken or missing. After multiple inquiries by both text and email, we have not received a response. We booked through Muval and chose the more expensive option in the hope our belongings would be handled with care and have been left disappointed by the experience. Edit: Thanks for replying, two months after the move, better late than never I guess. I think it's important to note here that the quick move was your choice and not ours. According to the booking, we were expecting your arrival the following day and you called me to let me know you were leaving the Sunshine Coast and en route to us with a few hours notice. Two people collecting three separate loads in Sydney, driving to QLD, unloading three loads and back to Sydney in well under 48 hours is surely a violation of multiple WHS rules or truck driver standards. As previously stated, I really appreciated the care that was taken to handle the antiques and framed pictures, none of which were half broken as you state and all of which made it here intact. Broken things, sure, accidents happen. Missing stuff? Not replying to correspondence after the move? I'm not sure there's a good reason for that. I was pretty upset by the condition of our belongings after the move but I knew there was nothing I could do to fix that. After attempting to contact you, giving feedback was all I could do. I think your aggressive, rude and exaggerated response to this feedback is further evidence for those choosing removalists to look elsewhere.

My wife, my 1 year old son, and I recently moved house. I had previously used a large, well known removalist company when moving before and tried to use them again, but they ended up mucking me about quite a bit and being very expensive!! Right off the bat as soon as i phoned Sydney Removal Services Courtney was absolutely helpful and understanding!! He communicated really well, and right there while we were on the phone he reviewed the exit/entry conditions at our old place, and at our new place (including the fact that the road at the front of our old place was a clearway until 10am). We were able to arrange the pick-up and drop off seemlessly within a matter of 5 minutes. On the day of the move Courtney and Nick showed up right on time (about 5 minutes early even, as Courtney phoned me from down the road waiting for 10am when they would be able to park in front of our old place NB: they still only charged me from 10am on the dot!). Courtney and Nick worked hard all day lugging our stuff, and through it all they were just super friendly and professional. i would definitely use Sydney Removal Services again, and i would absolutely have no problem recommending these guys to any of my friends or family (in fact i already have!). Thanks again guys, you're proper legends!!

My husband and I hired booked Courtney and his team to pack and move us across Sydney recently and i can honestly say with my hand on heart it was the best decision to book them! Every piece of furniture big or small was carefully packed and moved as of it was their own and we had zero breakage. Their prices are not the lowest, but you certainly pay for the quality of service and the highest professionalism. At every step of the way it was 100% communication and we were comforted to know we were in good hands especially with the delicacy of some of our possessions. It was an epic move and a full on day for the guys and I admit I was a little needy and they were incredible. 9pm at night and they were assembling beds, ikea wardrobes and hiking up 3 flights of stairs. Anyone reading this, seriously look no further.. these guys are the best in the business and I’m recommending these guys to everyone. September 2015. We used Courtney and the guys again based on our first massive move last year and they were even better this time, which I thought would be impossible. No damage and 14 hours of hard work! Everyone should use these guys, they are phenomenal!! Dec 2014 We only use services and purchase products based on reviews or word of mouth . The reviews for SRS on line were great and encouraged us to arrange a move from my house to 3 separate destinations. The reviews did not do the guys justice.........anyone looking for a removalist should call them. Its that simple, don't look elsewhere unless you want a real cheap move with potentially bad results. They are mid range as far as price is concerned but top shelf as far as delivering results are concerned. It thunder stormed at each delivery drop off but the boxes stayed dry and the piano even made it in one piece in the rain down the wet steep slope. I can't think of anything that was not perfect. Courtney and his excellent and dedicated team members Joe, Rafael, Juan, Emiliano and Adam helped me with my two moves recently. They had come recommended by someone else who had used the service and they certainly lived up to my expectations and more! They had to pack everything including fragile objects and each object was double wrapped before being packed and put into storage. When the boxes were retrieved from storage and transported to my new home and when I finally got around to unwrapping, I was amazed and delighted that not one object was chipped or broken. Brilliant service by Courtney and the team. Their quote was prompt and extremely competitive - especially since we needed to move within 72hours. The pre-pack was efficient, and they were extremely careful with paintings and crystal glassware. We had no issues whatsoever at the other end during unpack. For the first time I've ever experienced, the truck arrived on time, with a plan, and they hit the ground running. They removed a large, second story two-bedder to a split-level house across town in a little over six hours. The longest part was manoeuvring the 10m truck up the narrow Inner West alleyways. The team was prompt, courteous, and extremely focussed on safe transit. I'd unconditionally recommend this company.

Just got to Canberra from Sydney yesterday, and it was the most stress free move, considering the short notice. Courtney got back to me within minutes of me sending a query on Sunday night at 7pm, and then followed through the entire booking process with me while he was in Bali! All while being the most informative and helpful. Raphael who helped me with the move was so nice and patient, and it was like getting to know a new friend while we chatted on the ride to Canberra from Sydney. He was very considerate and stopped along the way for food/ breaks, making the ride a breeze. All in all I'm very grateful to have found these guys and will definitely recommend them to anyone!

Courtney & the boys have moved us a couple of times now and they're a brilliant crew. They keep going & just get the job done. They just moved us from Sydney to Bowral, pack & load day one, deliver & unload day two. Courtney arranged to have our art transported in a separate vehicle, they picked up boxes & furniture from our storage unit in another truck & used their big truck for the main house. Aside from the fact that Sydney Removal Services provided efficient, easy and reliable service at a good price, these guys were probably the biggest legends EVER. I reckon that counts for something. If you have to move sh*tloads of awkwardly large items and work up a sweat, you may as well throw out some good banter. Gold. We have continued to book Courtney and the gang on an ongoing basis for a myriad of jobs due to their professionalism, care with our items and efficiency, the guys making it a smooth process - as a corporate business this was really important to us. Highly recommend for an all-round great experience.

Courtney and his team have moved us twice now, the first a short move within a suburb in Sydney, and recently a move over two days from Sydney to the Blue Mountains. The guys – Joe, Emiliano and Nick - were friendly and fun the whole way through, there were no dramas, and nothing was too difficult for them. Courtney was very helpful booking us in with short notice and the guys were friendly and experienced. We had a couple of very minor issues (par for the course when moving house) during the move that I mentioned to Courtney and he was genuinely pleased to get the feedback and the opportunity to address it. Given mistakes/misunderstandings are a fact of life, I'm always much more impressed with a company that goes above and beyond to recover and would happily use these guys again.

A team of three uplifted and downlifted our apartments in the same day. A lot of gear moved down four floors and then up seven. The new apartment had a terrible lift but the guys kept their cool - despite needing to use the stairs a couple of time. Polite, efficient and considerate of my fellow residents coming and going in both locations I couldn't have been more happy with their work and the value for money it represented for over 10 hours needed in the day. Great job guys!

Jo and Courtney did a fantastic job with our move. We had two trucks go up to Brisbane on separate dates and everything arrived in perfect condition. They even repacked the second truck so that my kid's outdoor play equipment didn't need to be left behind. No idea how they got so much into the trucks!! Their rate was extremely competitive and they were so helpful and accommodating. Made a stressful move significantly easier. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

We've moved house 4 times in the last 14 years, and Courtney and his team were by far and away the best removalists we have ever used. They excelled in every aspect. Absolute legends. Courtney and his team helped up with our move up from Sydney to Wynnum (Brisbane). We booked in using his services through Muval, and I highly recommend their services. When it comes to removalists, you can sometimes feel as though you are walking a bit of a tight rope especially when trusting them with your items. However, this was from from a concern with Sydney Removal Services, they are professional and personal.

Sydney removal services offered an excellent service for a good price. We chose the premium service and Courtney delivered all of the boxes to us completely free saving us about $250 ! Some of the guys especially Levi and Zac are huge which helped alot! Not to mention super careful. The guys are also easy on the eyes We moved from a 2 bedroom apartment in Darlinghurst and we were thoroughly impressed. Recommended

We used SRS to move from Sydney's inner west from an apartment with lots of stairs to storage in Gold Coast. Move went smoothly and all promises delivered on. We used Sydney removal services to move into our new home in Bondi. John, David and Claudio were very efficient and took a lot of care moving all of our furniture. They had to navigate a lot of tight spaces and did so without any damage to the property or furniture. Have recommended to many friends and they have all had a good experiences also.

Sydney removals were good in helping us move from a large apartment with a tiny lift across down from Potts Point to Darlinghurst. Despite a busy small lift they remained patient over a long day hauling heavy objects. Price was reasonable, nothing damaged and good bunch of boys. Would use again
