I went into this store on the Black Friday sale, I was looking for a cordless nail gun kit hoping it would be on some sort of sale, tiff luck, to my amazement I did not see anyone wearing a face mask, I was under the impression we’re still required to wear a mask in retail ! But not in Pakenham ! I walked out in disgust, and thought I should go past the new Clayton store, as I’ve missed out on being there for their official opening the day before, they’re parking arrangements are a joke, anyway I witnessed pretty much the same thing at this store, only a couple of staff were wearing masks, so I asked the obvious, have the laws changed overnight regarding masks indoors ? The reply was, ohh me & a couple of other guys are exempt from wearing one. I mean what does it take to get the message through ? I understand the frustration, I’m frustrated, but if retail doesn’t set the example, then who will ?

I bought a set of Xtorque hex shank drill bits 11 months ago and being a DIY user I only used them recently. Some of the drill bits were bent and a new set given as replacement which also had bent drill bits! I was not keen to be given another replacement set of the same drill bits and requested to try the Milwalkee set and was happy to pay the difference in price. I was told because it has greater than 3 months I could only get like for like replacement only- no store credit, no refund (which I was not asking for). Basically I would have to keep going back for replacement set in the hope that one set did not have bent drill bits! I protested that I do not have time to keep returning to the store for replacement set but got no sympathy! I am just thankful that I did not buy my table saw, jointer and router from these guys and needless to say I will not buy from them again.

Wed 26th February 2020. From the time I walked in yesterday to Sydney Tools Pakenham there was a friendly and helpful service from the word go. I didn't find myself wandering the aisles looking for assistance. In particular, Anthony (the chap who served me) not only showed me the ladder I was interested in but spent time demonstrating the features. Even though I was capable of carrying the ladder, he even marched out to my car with it. In general conversation it also became known I was looking for a builder and today he rang me to say he'd spoken to a builder/customer who was interested in looking at my job. Many businesses fail miserably when it comes to giving their customers professional and proper attention. So all in all my experience was a fantastic example of customer service at it's very best.

I ordered a part for click and collect i heard nothing after placing order online so I called the store to inquire about the order and was told they will call me to let me know what's happening but they never called me i sent a email to Sydney tools and was told I would receive a call but never did I then called the store and was told they had no stock and would have to get in i then received a invoice after asking but still no items two days later I called the store and was told that Sean would call me in 30 minutes and I waited 4 hours and then called back and was finally told I should see the items next week. I work in a customer service role if we treated our customers like this we would not have a business

Where to begin, the staff all happy to help, the guys know what they sell and enjoy what they do.it does get busy time to time but you are not forgotten about. The shop... always clean and tidy and always something new. very often I go in for one thing I need and come out with three things I wanted lol. pricing is very competitive with other big tool suppliers, Sydney is often $30 cheaper per item. Special orders and Repairs are easily taken care of. Very much my favourite tool shop.

Before entering the store I let the closest worker available know that I have a medical exemption from wearing a mask, are they conformable with me entering. Yes was the response, but they need to see a certificate of exemption. We are not required by law to carry a certificate. No one can lawfully request a certificate, as it is illegal, as stated on the DHHS website. I left the premises and thought to leave a review so they can clean their act up.

I have spent a lot of money at Sydney tools. Was given incorrect information from a sales person and when returning the item was told I was not entitled to a refund. If a staff member is representing a company and makes a mistake, then the company should be correcting the error as its not my fault the staff members are not correctly trained / informed about what they are selling. I will not shop at Sydney tools again.

I bought a hikoki nail gun skin took it home and it was dead on arrival. I thought the process of returning it was going to be hard maybe a week or something. The guys at Sydney tools listened and had me on my way in 15 minutes with a new nail gun. Job got done in the afternoon I lost no time. A big thank you to the guys at Sydney tools for the advice and help with this purchase. the hikoki nail gun rocks..

5 of March 2022 I purchased a tool box and some blades for a tool .I dealt with two salemen that reached a standard of customer service and tool experience that exceeded my expectations to a degree in going back on the Monday to buy more tools .I highly recommend dealing Sydney tools Pakenham .I will not go anywhere else .A1

Went down to swap a small argon bottle on a Sunday morning as couldn't see stock at stores closer to me. Staff member met me at the door. Took my bottle and swapped it over quickly whilst I waited at the counter. Staff member was polite, efficient and helpful. So rare these days it justified a review from me. Thank you.

Paid for an item that came without a hose.. Now left with a puddle pump and no hose attachment. Manager himself Fails to call back.. no offer of refund or swap for something of value. Not sure how you sell one item without the other half of it.. And now its my problem to locate or find a suitable hose attachment.

Ultimate tool shop, really enjoyed the experience here. Easy to shop because all the products are sorted so well. Prices are fair and they have good specials once you sign up. Staff were awesome and knowledgeable, im going here for tools now, can’t be bothered with Bunnings and the know nothing staffing stores.

The staff at this store were extremely helpful and looked after this old lady really well however I ended up with a different Whipper Snipper from that demonstrated to me. When a friend pointed out the error, they responded by giving free of charge a new head to be fitted to the tool. I call that GOOD SERVICE.

Great range, reasonable pricing, and knowledgeable staff. Their P.R skills could be improved but that's not enough to affect my rating (must deal with some grumpy tradies often?) but ultimately I'm there to shop not make friends. Highly recommend 100%. Beats the big B any day of the week! Well done lads

Great range and professional service. Very helpful staff. They helped me to organise a return and refund of a products that was not to my expectations. The product was fully functional and It could just be me, but I found it tedious to operate and the boys at Sydney Tools were accommodating.

Went to buy a mower kit and an additional battery on the 6th November. The battery was not in stock at the store. We were told they would send it from their warehouse which still has not arrived to date ( 3 months !! ) We contacted in between and always been told they would send it.

Awesome range vertualy every tool under the sun.. Grouse staff, the gentleman who looked after me today was outstanding.. Even though what I was after was only a $14 sale and for a tool I had bought elsewhere.. He found what I was after and had a grin to boot.. They've won me !!!

Asked one of the guys confirming a price on a pack out piece... $209 response was "yeah sounds about right" arrogantly... Once i got home i looked up the item and it's listed for sale on Sydney Tools website for $109.. No future business from me with service like that.

I took my Dewalt drill into the Sydney tools Pakenham As it had lost all power and was not working within 24 hours sash had fixed my drill and had called me to collect absolutely awesome service and will continue to go about my business here great shop great service

Had to kit out a new trade van this morning and was looked after by Adam. Great bloke, great service and he was more than happy to assist and show me alternatives that at times were cheaper tha what I was looking at. happy days and happy to recommend!!

Do not recommend this store. Spend over 2k on a deVault kit & was told I would get two 9.0ah batteries but instead they gave me one 9.0ah and one 6.0ah. Told me I was lying when I questioned it. Never shop there, they take your money and rip you off.

I have order an out of stock item, and Damon is helping me getting the kit I want which is not that expensive one anyway, but even though he did a special order for me, which is much appropriated, happy to buy all my tools from Pakenham Sydney Tools

Store it self is nice, but overheard the guys at the front talking and someone said oh he has a drill bit in is hand i dont want to serve him. so i put it back and walked out. just plain rude the guys that said it was an older short man at the door

Went in to get a toolbox today and staff were very helpful. The bloke that served me was really helpful and discounted a heap of extra stuff for me. Ended up getting an awesome deal. Will definitely go back and will recommend this place highly.

Greeted as I walked in the door. Ed took care of me and helped me save some cash when I bundled some items I needed together. Heaps of items in stock, plenty of range, if they don't have it ask and they can probably get it. Legends shop here.

Very poor Customer Service… Ordered Makita Ratchet wrench and received it after 1.5months but was not happy with the product. Returning was not possible though Sydney Tools have advised 14 days money back guarantee. Totally rip off.

I waited a whole 7 months for a pressure washer extension wand, chasing it up every 4 weeks, they kept telling me they'd ring me when It was in, they didn't. I had to call them for them to tell me it came in a week ago.

Never going back to Total tools. Sydney Tools are awesome. After poor customer service at Total Tools in Pakenham Went to Sydney Tools and was blown away by the excellent customer service and there range. Thanks guys!

Terrible Service. lots of products without price tags. Tool boxes on special not even made up for you to look at. Told them about prices not on products and they just said isn't it

This place is HUGE and has a very wide range of tools and equipment, however their prices are not great, and the staff were not very friendly/not willing to help
