I recently had the pleasure of visiting HomeGoods and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an incredible selection of home goods, ranging from decor and furniture to kitchenware and bedding. What really stood out to me about HomeGoods was the quality and variety of their products. Every item I picked up felt well-made and durable, and I was impressed by the range of styles and designs available. Whether I was looking for something modern and sleek or rustic and cozy, HomeGoods had it all. The prices at HomeGoods were also incredibly reasonable, especially for the high-quality products on offer. I was able to find everything I needed to decorate my home without breaking the bank. I would highly recommend HomeGoods to anyone in the market for high-quality, affordable home goods. With its extensive selection, reasonable prices, and helpful staff, it's no wonder why this store is such a popular destination for home decor enthusiasts.

This is the largest TJMaxx/HomeGoods store that I know of on the northern half of San Antonio. The selection is great and the merchandise moves quickly so there's almost always something new to see. Overall the store is kept in great order and easy to navigate. During high volume shopping days expect to stand in a long line at checkout that moves fairly quickly but looks daunting. There are times when I'm interested in purchasing something to avoid the line. During the current phase of Covid restrictions, the max capacity of shoppers is 202. We waited outside briefly yesterday to enter. Carts were sanitized and the process seemed to be running like a well oiled machine. Pack your patience.

Horribly managed here now. Checking out or returning items is always met with a bitter attitude from the manager and her team. Be warned. Super strict on returns too. DO NOT buy anything from their luxury collection The Runway. You have to have the receipt, red tag, and paper tag or it’s yours. I had the tags included and the red hard tag they make the clothing with and she hard core wouldn’t even give a store credit with out the physical receipt. No consideration. I explained I wasn’t told having a receipt was a must as I’ve returned items before without it. No empathy or understanding from the manager. The manager always has a bitter attitude. It’s not worth your time.

This is the worst store when you go to check out. No matter what day or time you’re in there you’re going to stand in line for at least 30 mins or more. They have 17 registers and tonight they have a line all the way back to the entrance in the purse section and still only have 2 registers running. I can’t tell you how many times I come in to get something and just turned around and left because of the check out line is so long and not being serviced adequately. Too bad they don’t care about servicing their customers. Most stores will call their employees to come up and get the line down but I’ve never seen that happen in this store.

This is a TJ Maxx Runway so there are some display cases that have some amazing deals on higher-end brands. The clothes racks also have more luxury options too so expect some higher prices. The Home Goods part of the store has a good selection and the staff keep the place very clean. The line can get very long and wrap around the store, but each register is usually open which means the line goes much faster than what you would think. It just means you might have to wait longer than a normal Tjmaxx because you’re dealing with two stores in one.

This store has amazing pieces and prices. My one star reflects the poor management of the store. 1. They renovated and now have 17 registers but still the most I’ve seen open at peak times and days is 6. So line always is wrapped almost halfway around store. Manager never calls more employees to registers to get line moving either. 2. Carts are always all over the parking lot in the way, they should consider putting in cart racks or having dedicated employees collect frequently. 3. The bathrooms are always broken and dirty

Ok, great place full of great things. Now, the problem... Ridiculously congested. I can never buy anything because it’s too busy. I feel SO bad for staff working. Management should brainstorm on how to fix this issue. I’ve never seen a busier place. I’ve visited 8 or 9 times and have never been able to check out with my items. Has amazing things, staff is very nice. If you have time by all means, shop there. It’s a pretty cool place for your home needs.

This was the crappiest shopping experience ever. The checkout had many registers but only two employees working them. The line was so long and took so much time to move forward that we wound up leaving our cart full of about $300 in merchandise. It's like since Covid nobody cares about a sale anymore or even wants to work. You'd think being the area they are the service would be great.

Had a really bad experience with returning an item at a different location. (Blanco and 410) thankfully, Chelsey “front end manager” solved all my problems and headaches. Helped me out with no hesitation. And was extremely well mannered. Highly recommend coming to this location if you’re all about outstanding customer service like myself. Thanks again Chelsey!!! :)

  • Doug Ashlock

Not sure if only a problem when I went, but was extremely crowded. That said, the combination of the two stores were easy to navigate, well laid out, and had a clear delineation of which store side was which. The selection was very good, a good combination of stores. The checkout line was very long, however, it moved very quickly. They had 13 registers open.

  • Dawn Camp

Line wrapped all the way to the back of the store. They have 17 registers and only 4 sometimes 5 are open. They need a dedicated register for returns and a 5 or less register. A ton of associates running around the store. None are called to the front to help with checkout. It’s a great place to find neat stuff, but the line isn’t worth the wait.

If you are still following covid protocols and you Don't want to get Sick, PLEASE DON'T COME TO THIS STORE!!! they are not requesting people to wear a mask. I asked the cashier if they are requesting people to wear a mask and she said it is more like a suggestion . They have the sign on the main entrance just as decoration …

  • SHERRY Posadas

Stopping in from out of town. There is so much more variety and items to choose from. Found a few Patricia Nash purses for good prices. Summer dresses and shorts us a few much needed (lol) home items. Ended leaving everything be hind due to long checkout line/ wait. Guess I really didn't need them. Haha..maybe on my next visit.

  • Rochelle Hetrick

They make you wait in the line wrapped around the store to return anything. I had to return a rug and they were gonna make me either wait in line, or load it back up and come another time. At least let people return furniture so they don’t need to load and unload again. Bad management decision. Bad customer service.

  • Christopher Gauthier

Several times now I've gone in, taken one look at the check out line, then immediately left. They have cool stuff, but what's the point? I'm not going to stand in line for an hour to buy something at a slight discount. Get your cashier situation fixed and maybe I'll be back. Utterly ridiculous.

  • Robert Jaramillo

Definitely a BADLY managed store. Been here a couple of times & the lines are ridiculously long while associates & managers stand around chatting on the sales floor. Waited 30 mins to check out & not coming back any time soon. And yes, the line wraps around the corner way in the back …

  • Amanda Campos

It always seems crowded and cluttered with the placement of the furniture and display areas in the HomeGoods side.Very unorganized and messy on the T.J. Maxx side. Lines are always very long and you could be in line anywhere from 15-25 minutes depending on time of day.

  • Chris Mich

I understand the purpose of this combo store... But I find them too large and full of items in places I don't want to go. And the line I know it's not a common problem but every time I come here they have a waiting line that rivals black Friday every time.

  • Melissa

This TJ MAXX has the WORST lines ever!!!! Don't expect your trip to be quick, give yourself 2 hours! If you have a return, forget about it, might as well look around, right!? Line is to the door and they have 3 registers open!! THIS IS EVERY TIME, SMDH.

  • Peter Johnson

Nice selection, but outrageously long line (imagine line for bread in Russia in the 80s), and it’s moving as fast as every Disney ride line . Line itself is not the problem, but having just 4 cashiers (of 17 registers) … a lesson in patience …

  • Melanie

Awesome prices and items but line is always around the whole store everytime I come , only writing a review because it’s literally everytime I come , 45 minute wait in line today I just put all my items away and left , I will not be retuning

  • Roberta Keller

Store is very cluttered with junk thrown on the floor being run over by shopping carts. No employee to be found with the checkout line wrapping around the store because only 3 registers open. I hate coming here!! It is hell.

  • Jorge Morales Scharon

Store was a little cluttered some walk/cart ways too small for the shopping cart. Many items on the floor or unorganized. Side note ( some children were not supervised by their parents and made a mess in the toys section.

  • The TexasGal

This place can be dangerous! You go in to buy a set of sheets and walk out with two sets, a blouse, a dresser, an unusual vase, and more. Lordy, how do you explain this to your husband! …

  • Melanie Galvez

Always busy but the lines Always go fast. Friendly staff, so much product. This place is always dangerous for my pocket but always find good stuff. Like these here for pets, incredibly cute

  • Jennifer Barron

They always the best stuff! Great finds! Cute holiday decorations, kids crafting kits, and every day home and pet products. 2thumbs high! Thank you

  • Jelena Wright

Great selection. Love that they have the holiday items out early. Every day they seem to have new items out as the sell out of the others.

  • James Aldridge

T.J. Maxx is a horrible store with an extremely long lines. The staff is rude, slow and does not move with any sense of urgency.

  • J Mimun

It's a bit too crowded for me, but I can see why the crowds. They have really nice stuff for your home and crazy great prices.

  • Kriolu Kauverdianu (CVMDUS)

Come in for a short trip and will be sure to leave with more than you planned. Your home/ crib will likely be fuller too!

  • Linda Davidson

I either find great deals on what I'm looking for or nothing. Fun to stumble on great finds here at great prices.

  • Lou Marley

The dressing room witch is RUDE! They can keep their clothing. Gladly pay 3x morr to avoid the.lines yoo

  • Cindy Dire (Cindy)

It's a busy Season to shop. The place was packed! Fortunately it is well stocked with lots of inventory!

  • J

60+ carts in line with only three of 17 registers open. Took over an hour waiting in line to check out.

  • Artless Diamond

It's so good that the line was longer than a schoolbus, but it went by fairly decent.

  • Marlene Z

Great items... but the register line to pay was all the way around the store!

  • Kati Harrison

Although the store is decent the bathrooms were disgusting and not cleaned

  • Ronald Althof

Great store but be prepared to spend a lot of time in check-out line.

  • Dale Schweers

Super long lines so I left and ordered from somewhere else.
