I love TJ Max but I do feel management structure is poor. I went in to simply get something I saw a couple days ago during my visit and I was witness to a manager speaking poorly and very unprofessional to an employee who was handling carts. I under the seriousness of the situation during these times but I don't feel she did anything wrong and was already doing a great job. He was so rude to her in front of customers and explained to her like a child how he wanted it to be done. I'm sure it embarrassing for the employee. Then as I could not find an item I reached out to an employee who was stocking and she sighed very heavily and directed me to where the item should have been but was not. I was so bothered and honestly didn't blame her as I'm sure the lack of leadership really reflects on the employees expectation to do a great job. I love it there just feel bad for the employees.

Kathy the store manager is rude and took over 20 minutes of my day to say she refuses to do a return since she is the store manager (which she is not)that I can call corporate to report her and is really disrespectful and was writing her full name on paper after I respectfully told her she’s the only Kathy as a manager at this location she said there are many at her location which again shows her true character in addition to wasting my time by making false accusations that I didn’t purchase the items clearly she hasn’t been trained, rarely I take time out of my day to report such behavior was really odd to me and unnecessary as it was clear she was being races as I had my receipt and since have returned the items no problem. She treated me terrible and even her associate was apologizing for her manners please stop Kathy and allowing ignorant individuals run a store. God Bless

If I could rate a zero i would! This place is unsanitary! Feces in bathroom and employees are forced to use gloves to clean it up! DISGUSTING! There is no sanitary cleaning machine only chemicals, gloves, mops, and water. Not to mention they usually have men cleaning the woman’s bathroom late because they didn’t schedule cleaning earlier or whatever but it can make some women UNCOMFORTABLE, this has happened to me on occasion going into the store, it makes the cleaner stop working and the costumer feel rushed. I’ve talked to some staff during my visits and some have the most rudest attitude and refuse to acknowledge you until you get their attention. Overall as a customer I give this place zero stars due to lack of planning, unsanitary conditions ( with body fluids) and rudeness.

Three things to keep in mind if you intend to shop here: 1. Don't expect anybody to help you unless you proactively ask for it. In detail. As blatantly as possible. 2. Don't expect the sizes to be in the right place. Ever. You need to take your time and elbow people out of the way to look at all the racks. 3. Expect to be trampled by groups of people shopping. It's always busy, and people will push you out of the way without a second thought. It happens every single time I'm there. That being said, I've never had an actively NEGATIVE experience here. All of that is just kinda the feel of the place. It's not upscale and really nice. It's not well organized. They have meh customer service. But you can find good items at a decent price, and that's really the whole point, right?

I love shopping there! Prices are great, good selection plus good quality clothing and misc. items. The store has a variety of prices of clothing, clearance items, as well as higher end brands with great discounted prices. TJMaxx has shoes, jewelery, items for the home, a few pieces of furniture, bedding, men's clothing as well. You will also find a great variety of fair priced purses and wallets to match. On many occasions, you will find the long lines at the cash register, so make plans on a waiting period before you get to the end. A suggestion, if you find something you like, get it the. It might not be there when you go back! Handicap parking and entrance with automatic doors at both entrance and exit. I recommend this store.

I visited this store sometime last week, while doing my shopping I accidentally locked eyes with a manager with purple hair I tried to smile but she just gave me a very dirty look so I decided to look down and walk away, after a while i came in the same vicinity as her and heard her being very argumentative and disrespectful to another associate she sounded so belittling it took a lot for me to bite my tongue she was speaking to the associate like a kid and giving them snarky remarks I decided I didn’t even want to buy anything as she just ruined my experience Edit: why do backroom associates have to clean dirty bathrooms? Manager should do the job better and either clean it themselves or hire someone!!

Staff in back room is severely under paid! They work in a hot room and spend money out of their OWN paycheck to buy a big fan! Most of the back room employees are older women with the exception of some younger folks. This company needs to do better for their employees, instead of constantly lecturing them about public stealing give them raises and fix the air conditioning in the back room I am so tired of seeing my older family member come home drenched in sweat and dust as well as possibly getting hurt like some of her coworkers have for a job that doesn’t pay enough and do better tjmaxx stop being cheap when you make much more and stop making older employees buy their own supplies to keep cool.

Love the merchandises they have, but they need to provide more security. When I was there, I saw a lady using garden scissors cutting designer's purse security strap and made the alarm go off She quickly ran away with 3-4 purses. No one do anything to stop her. There's couple of TJ Maxx's staff stand near by the scene. But they just freeze and didn't know how to react in this situation. I love to shop in TJ Maxx,but after saw that...I wouldn't go there until the Management improve the security in the store. I didn't took any picture coz I'm still in shock and can't believe they let the Thief went away like nothing happen.

The TJ Max experience I had at this location was average. The store looked as though it was shopped pretty hard during the weekend. However, overall the experience was about average and there was little selection to choose from. There are definitely cleanliness opportunities needed for the store. Overall, the staff was friendly and fun during checkout and is one of the main reasons I give this store a Solid 4 stars. Lastly I may or may not return in the future. I would recommend this store but maybe more during the weekdays when it has less foot traffic.

For this being the only location in San Antonio closest to me it really was not worth driving all the way over there. Shopping their it almost made me feel like I had to settle for what they had. I prefer Marshall's, Ross and Burlington over TJ Maxx which is by far overrated . I was approved for this card at Marshall's and I will stick with Marshall's. I guess it was a sign that I forgot my brand new 2k limit card because they supposedly said they couldn't look up my account with my ID.

Worst TJMaxx I’ve been at, restrooms disgusting, mess everyone and employees no where to be found when needed. This place lacks sanitary procedures, not only in the restrooms but on the shopping area. While I was shopping through the bags I saw a mouse and immediately left my thing because once a place has mice you know it’s not clean. Y’all’s janitors or cleaning people don’t clean at all as you can tell. Shame on managers for allowing this kind of work to be done.

So I was just in line (today) and there were 2 registers open. I was next in line with maybe about 5 people behind me. The "Manager on Duty" a male, came behind one of the registers and kept looking at the line. I'm wondering, is he about to open another register Welp, unbeknownst to me he was, just not for little ol me ‍♀️ As soon as I was called to the next cashier, he opened a register. A "Manager on Duty" huh? Hence, my 1 star review!

Your location is the best. I saw an item that is probably one of a kind and I called in your place of business while it was closed. Claudia was nice enough to go and find it and offered to hold it for me even though your place of business did not open for over an hour and a half. Favorite shopping spot! If you see something you like, buy it then because it will most likely be gone if you decide you want it later. This location is pretty good, though gets packed at random times, which can make the check-out longer (soooo long at Christmas time), and masses of people tend to leave things looking like a hurricane hit. Staff usually sets out asap to rectify it. I like the staff at this location.

Too crowded today! Long check out lines caused me to leave without purchasing what I wanted. Not a place to make a quick run at lunch while your working, better have time to stand in line! Or maybe it was because it's a Monday! Glad to see that businesses are picking up again and coming back to life. It's like the traffic, oh dread, sitting there waiting your turn in line like cattle! Lol

Jocelyn or yocelyn was beyond rude when I kindly asked her for help. Her words exactly “she will be right with you, you guys just need to be patient” rudely by the way, and walked away. She made the customer next to me say “oh wow” and walked away instead of asking for help. I came in Nov 24 @ 11am. The lady with the Red hair in jewelry was very nice and took care of me.

Idk if it's from the pandemic and so there have been less people going into the store, but their makeup section is no longer a cluster cluck. Most eyeshadows didn't have big finger prints in the packaging from people trying them on. Other sections were also organized and seemed to be in their place. Good deals to be had at this TJ MAXX.

The store could be more organized however, what really came off rude is one of the managers, claims to be a hiring manager, blow off a young lady that was trying to get information. Manager walked away as she didn't make eye contact and answer the young lady's questions. I'm definitely not coming to a TJ Maxx with the bad management

This is a nice store with many options. The merchandise is nicely displayed. I had a good shopping experience, although I could not find anything that met my needs. I really don't care about pants with skinny legs or ripped. The bedsheets seemed to be a bit lower than the ones at Tuesday Morning. I will definitely return!

While products can be a bit chaotically placed and hard to find, there are usually decent deals. Staff is generally nice, even when checkout lines get backed up. My only complaint is some of the snack items are not fresh, even when they are well within date... So buy those items with caution as it can be hit or miss.

I’ve always loved Tj Max and I frequently visit this location as it is closest to me. However, the young girls working the checkout counter are just plain rude , have bad attitudes and get on their phones when there is line of customers waiting to pay. Retraining on customer service wouldn’t be such a bad idea.

Was super busy. Had to wait outside in line for, maybe, ten minutes to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Turns out they didn't have jeans in my size, but I picked up a nice flannel shirt. Our teller was very friendly. Store was clean and overall had a nice shipping experience.

Clean store overall. Worker did not ask if I needed help the entire time I was shopping. Couldn't find the fitting room for a while as I am not familiar with this store. Had to find a worker to ask. Checkout like was long but went really fast. Extremely friendly cashier at checkout.

Usually don't find much in the way of clothing but is my favorite place in SA for purse shopping. I buy my daughters a new purse each Christmas. One's a stay-home Mom and the other is a bank manager and I never have any problem finding something they'll love. Can't beat the prices.

This store has been remodeled and has a real upscale feel to it. Itv didn't seen like I was shopping in a discount store. Also, the store was neatly arranged and well organized. They have a great selection for women, however they could use more men's items, particularly shoes.

I just love this store. Its so organized and clean. I love how they always have what i need. It was at night when I went and there were plenty of people on staff for check out so I could get out quicker. I recommend this store for anyone on a budget but wants good quality .

This location is better stocked than the Forum location. The selections for home goods and (my favorite!) skin care are awesome. The staff there is so friendly and helpful. Recent visit- store was messier than usual and couldn't find anyone on the floor to ask for help.

I was unaware that it's mainly for women being that Marshalls is there sister store I just assumed they would have men's shoes. I should have researched or asked some questions. It wasn't all bad I did learn something I now know don't look for shoes there.

God help them. It looks like they're going under. Their inventory is way down. They didn't have their usual great selection. Shopping with a mask on was awful. I left without the items in my basket bc I felt like I was going to pass out from lack of air.

I love TJ Maxx. They have everything you could need to close pet supplies, body products and even home goods. Prices are good. The only thing I don't like is rush hour at lunch the line gets a little long. Other than that it's a pretty quick moving line.

When you go look for something and you can't find it , but then you find something even better it's fantastic, I went looking for Octonauts for one and found Harry Potter items which I didn't think I would find at all!! It makes it worth the trip.

Not sure who the clothing buyers are for this store but the selection leaves much to be desired. I used to shop here and spend way too much money because they had such cute clothes i couldnt resist. Now, It seem they are saving me from myself!!

This is a great store with a pretty decent selection of linens. I do wish the kitchen and dining ware was more varied in their selection. It would be nice to have dome higher end crystal pieces available, etc. But it still is a good store.

Horrible service. We nicely asked an older lady that works there, where the restrooms were and she said "where it says restrooms" and then she walked a way. They have a good selection of clothes at fair prices but the service is bad.

It's a good store but limited on certain items. The clothing selection is also restricted and damaged. I work minutes away so it is convenient, I will still stop by hoping for new items that are not torn or ripped.

Organized and good selection of recognizable brands on some items. Traffic in store increases during holidays making popular sizes harder to find. Didn't see any intimates, bras in particular, in larger cups.

A reasonably good experience. Manageable selections without being overwhelmed. Guys, be sure to check out the clearance section for an incredible selection of pants... If you're missing yours.

Way better than the non-sense over at the RIM. Was able to shop comfortably and wasn't over crowded. Only thing is that the RIM store has way more selection, but not worth the wait in line.

Employees are very helpful and courteous. They will take the time to assist you in locating your items and to answer your questions. They just don't point. Very organized and well stocked.

If you see what you want , get it , don't wait. I 2nd guessed 2xs this week and items were gone, when I went back. Go early in the week also. And early in the day. It is stocked well then.

Super confused. Their holiday hours say 11pm but they are acting like they are closed at 10pm. Or they definitely don’t want to be bothered by anyone during these extended holiday hours

One of my faves in the city. It's a small store bit they have better stuff than the bigger ones. Staff is awesome & the line does move fast. My daughter's & I just love this place.

I rarely buy from this store but I needed a small wallet. I found a cute Betsey Johnson rose print vinyl and the first day I used it the snap broke. I put Velcro so it closes now.

Well I just came to exchange and they have a lot of dresses and more to look through. Clean store, friendly lady in the fitting room and I had overall a great experience.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more disgusting restroom like the one at your location. Gas stations are cleaner. There’s literally rot on the floors and walls. Just wow!
