Worst customer service ever! Beware of rude, lazy and unethical staff! I tried twice to set up an appointment with TD Streetsville Branch by calling "mortgage specialist" and leaving both times voice message. After not getting reply by this lady, I called TD front desk to schedule an appointment with anyone for that matter. After receiving the appointment and coming in, the "mortgage specialist" went to the branch manager to ask if she could receive us into the office (me and my Mom). After she got the green light from the manager, she was upset by the fact that she had to take the appointment, she started to treat us very despicable. She started to wright down numbers on her paper not related to what we have told her and what she already has in the TD system (my Mom and I are older clients and every detail of our history.... is in the TD system already!) After the conversation prolonged both my Mom and I felt and sensed the frustrated TD employee an no interest from her to work with us, so we stood up and left. Couple minutes later I called up the branch manager to tell her about the incident. To my surprise and NOT! From the very beginning the branch manager started to be offensive, defending the "mortgage specialist" without even being with us in the room, without even knowing what was going on and how her staff member behaved. "Branch manager" if that was the branch manager did not want to apologize for the inconvenience nor was she willing to hear out her staff member what happened and why! If the Branch Manager finished any management school at all, she would know how to talk to people, how to calm the situation and at least hear what I have to say. That showed me how the Streetsville TD branch structure from top down is! The fish really stinks from the head! When I read other reviews here below mine, I am apparently not the only one having this terrible experience! Please beware! Don't let them treat you this way!

AVOID!! If I could give it no stars I would. Never banking with this branch again. I spent my whole day (5 hours total) asking the branch to fix a mistake THEY MADE (FYI they didn’t fix it). The advisors are incompetent especially (Kevin- avoid at all costs) and the managers (Harleen and Jake) are verbally abusive, unprofessional and incredibly rude. After I opened a US chequing account that was recommended to me by Kevin, I transferred some of my funds to it. I was then told by the teller that I can’t access the money in the account I opened to make purchases with the TD card while in the US. I was told by Kevin at my appointment that I can, hence the whole point of why I opened the account. I waited for another 2 hours to be told that they should have never opened this account for me as it doesn’t suit my needs and that Kevin gave me incorrect information, made assumptions and was not aware of the limitations to US banking. I asked to return the funds to me (original value) but they refused. I was promised by the manager there, Harleen, that I would receive a call from the branch manager to discuss, I waited for another hour and she never called. I went back to ask to speak to a branch manager and I was told by the manager at the time (Jake) I’m not going to receive a call. I requested them to schedule me an appointment to meet with the branch manager and Jake called me hostile and threatened to throw me out of the branch. This was worse than a scam.

I have always considered this to be the absolute best branch in the TD network. Maybe it's the environment-the village is a connected place, with a neighbourhood atmosphere, and this branch is an integrated part of the village. Pleasant, warm and welcoming!!! That is your Streetsville branch. Sure it's a bank and we conduct our business activities there, but it is also part of the community. You feel the warmth from the moment you enter. Tara is welcoming and Jonathan is engaging. This branch should be the hallmark among your branches; all TD front line staff and your banks' senior leadership should really spend a day there. Help build emotional intelligence in your organization, shadow the folks in this branch, get back some of that 'old-fashioned' neighbouhood feeling. I know you have your parameters for efficiency, but never underestimate the goodwill for your organization when a customer can simply spend a few extra minutes with your staff, simply 'chatting'. This is how you grow your brand, this is how you differentiate yourself and ultimately increase your profits. A NOTE: TD branch at 10th line and Thomas, please, take stock!! this is what you want to aspire to, and you've got a LONG way to go! Thank you to all the wonderful folks at the Streetsville branch!!

I recently had a awful experience at TD streetsville branch and I was not happy. I was transfer funds from my account in RBC to my TD account via bank draft. I was advised when I got my draft to show my transaction receipt to prevent a hold. So I went to TD was advise that there is a hold aka clearing of 5 days. I advise and show the receipt but said no. Said I could have the other RBC bank manager call her to verified. I as did not want a hold on funds so go back to RBC and was advise the do not verify funds over the phone and the receipt should be good enough. The have not verified over the phone for 6 years!! Being feed up went to branch on britanna and had no issues and accepted my funds without hold with receipt. This wasted an hour of my time and will no longer go to streetville branch because of this. I will give shout out to Britianna TD manager for helping very quickly and efficiently.

Place is not busy (visited weekday noon). Patrick and his coworker (didn't see her nametag) were polite and patient in authorizing access to my account and getting me a new Debit Card, despite me only having ID to verify and not much else. I wanted to get EasyWeb access and a Phone Code, but the coworker said I couldn't as a minor. However, upon calling the customer inquiry line, I was told that I in fact could get both set up even as a minor at an in-person branch, but with a parent present. I have yet to visit a different location for that. They might not have known this was possible due to a lack of experience. I don't hold this against them; I was probably a very rare case and you, if you're reading this, should be confident that they will be able to provide assistance in the vast majority of more common situations.

This is my 2nd bad time here... today I went in to deposit a cheque and the salt n pepper haired woman repeated 4 times, "We're going to hold this cheque for 5 banking days".. this 4th time I kinda lost it and said firmly "did you hear me, I said deposit the cheque, I asked you to simply deposit my money". At the end of my encounter, she slides over my deposit copy then proceeds to use her pen to point at where it says on my slip, 'funds will be held until..". and repeats herself again! THATS 5 TIMES!! WOOWW Now I know I look good, I have on an expensive coat, purse, perfume and just had my hair done wearing nice sunglasses...im 52.. so what's the deal ahole? I get home, put away/check my receipt and its actually being held for 8 days!! Was she angry at me for snapping at her? Is this normal? Anywho.. I'll be switching.

I am still upset about the abusive treatment I received at this branch a few months ago. I am no longer a customer but had received some mail from the bank. When I went in to inquire, I encountered a male employee named Khaled who was so ABUSIVE to me I had to write a complaint to the head office to which I received an apology. I was in a hurry that day and was dressed in a pair of old jeans and a t-shirt. So apparently if you are an older person dressed down you are not worthy of decent treatment?

Worst customer service! Even free banking services like tangerine are much better than TD . Had the worst banking experience with td especially this branch where employees are rude and do not want to be helpful or listen to customers and blame customers instead. They just want to make money by charging interest and penalties instead of giving any visibility or notifications to clients and provide incorrect suggestions. Will be moving my business elsewhere.

Excellent customer service from Leela Rampaul! In other branch, I tried to deposit Stock Certificate(DRS), but no success. Leela is very professional and patient: she made phone calls to find out the detail, then prepared/submit the forms. After that, she followed up to make sure that everything went through and got confirmation on her last day in this branch. Thank you very much for your service!

Worst TD Bank Branch! Should consider moving my business banking elsewhere! They are rude and annoying employees, on top of that only one teller is open during morning rush on a Friday. There is this employee short hair older women usually at the last wicket, cant stand her trashy attitude and professionalism!she should be fired!

Today I was at the bank at 11:51 and one of the tellers had a bad attitude to me. I don't know if he other customers a bad attitude or if it's just to me, but I think that is unprofessional and not nice and that he should be polite to all customers. His reference number is 00181928/2-ZSIN

Very incompetent personnel. The assigned advisor acknowledged that he was not trained at all in the area that he had to take care of. As a result many false information was provided, failed commitments and timeline multiple times
