This is the worst bank in the entire TD Bank system. I have banked all over Canada and this is by far the worst bank I have ever dealth with. They have incompetant people, long lines and no service. If I could give it no stars I would. They just follow the book and have no imagination. There is literally no point in going in - as even if you are regular customer they treat you like a stranger. I went in today. Just before Christmas, December 19th, 2023. I had a cheque that was cleary written to me but because of a small error, they would not cash it even though they know me. I have my mortgage, all my accounts investments with TD and I am a regular customer. You think she would have a little understanding and discretion being a few days before the holidays. They could have held the cheque or at least gave some options but they gave me a flat out no and treated me with no respect. I went to another TD bank and it was fine. I will be pulling all my accounts and when my mortgage comes up for renewal next year I will run to another institution as clearly the "bank of convenience" has become very inconvenient. Bring on Google Banks, Apple Banking, Bitcoin, anything to give these big banks competition. Canadian banks serve themselves and the government and are making it harder and harder for Canadians to bank. Hight interest rates, no personal service, no flexibility and incompetant managers. But of course their real agenda is clear. Take no risks and serve themselves.

I would give this branch 0 . I came in to get a new card since the customer service manager was rude obnoxious did not give me alternatives . I had my wallet stolen from my vehicle . I had a copy of photo ID on my phone . I have the mobile app . There multiple ways to verify a customer with ID . Compliance other ways if customer does not have ID Phone verification- Signature verification Mobile App verification Information on account such as account number - balance recent transactions There is many ways a branch representative verify you . She refused. I had no ID I went to another br and they verify me in less then 5 minutes and give me a debit card . I worked at the bank so did my fiancé as a teller PBA and FSR . So the assistance manager call me after my TD survey and instead of accepting accountability and responsibility he argumentative . A lot other branch’s following compliance aswell and help their customers at the same time . There a reason why an Individual comes in to do banking in person and speak to a person and not a machine . If you don’t understand a customer situation then what’s a difference between a person and machine . The branch is incompetent and no common sense . I hope the District Manager sees my review and I know that my survey impacts the branch rating and service. Diguesting service unprofessional individuals and not even trained people never do business in this branch .

I don’t usually review business as thing always vary depending what staff is on duty and the number of clients/customers that are being served but your location has a serious issue on customer service training and malfunctioning equipment. Number one you need to get your right hand atm serviced or close it as it repeatedly malfunctioned yesterday which inconvenience me and other customers. It reported that the chip on my card had malfunctioned. When your teller escorted me to the same terminal a gentleman using the machine reported that the machine wouldn’t take his check. Plus the time I spent in line was excessive but I understand there seemed to be number of issues going on with the other wickets. So I ended up with the newest staff. You need to send Slava for more customer service training and problem solving/a lot more mentoring. There was no eye contact/smile just a raised hand and a flick of his fingers. He didn’t seem to associate my problem with the machine and he didn’t really acknowledge the other gentleman’s issues. Here’s a thought just post a sign that acknowledges that your staff can’t problem solve by suggesting that “if customers are having problems with the ATM just try another machine”. I went to another location and there are no issues with my access card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TD should close this branch. I have been using another bank for years but my company wanted me to open TD for payroll so I opened it about a year ago. However, due to my current status, I want to switch my debit card to student account as I am currently a college student. I went all the way to this branch with the proof of my enrolment which is a student ID and a time table on my phone since the college has yet opened in person class. The representative told me that he can’t process without physical ID and then asked the supervisor for my case, but I ended up with nothing since he told me coming home and applying online as I am not young enough, I’m 33 already. What’s wrong with this age?? I can’t go to school with this age is what they meant??? I didn’t say anything after this age discrimination as I don’t want to waste my time with this branch. Thinking about cancelation and use only Scotia bank because I did the same thing at Scotia-bank with just 1 minute process and a congratulations from the representative that I decided to go back school. That what customer service should be.

Continues to be the worst served branch across the city for YEARS. Not sure why this branch continues to be underserved and poorly trained relative to other branches. Today, I waited for an access card replacement at the "Customer Service Desk" where I witnessed Rahul speak very roughly to a senior. He also was dealing with another customer who seemed very friendly so friendly their transaction was over 25 minutes long and I waited at least 10 minutes before he acknowledged me and he asked if I'm waiting for someone... he then told me to go to the tellers. Why is there not a sign? Why is he doing a transaction at the "greeters" desk? Female teller I dealt with today, started with an H (sorry) was polite, friendly and speed was good. Long line for the tellers as usual. I live in the area but I typically avoid this branch and go 15 km to 1019 Sheppard E to ensure I get decent service. The fact that there is no corporate sponsored means to write comments on a branch is ridiculous. I guess that's why TD has given up on customer service and now ranks 3rd in JD Power.. laughable...

I had a very positive experience here on Friday when I had to make a payment billed to me by another TD branch downtown. Without going into specific, irrelevant details to the reader(s), the teller didn't know how to handle this as I've experienced at other branches also. She asked for assistance from her superior, Reka Jangam, who was very cordial and attempted to guide the young teller, without success. Even though I suggested I would leave it, Reka still offered to get assistance to service my banking need. Another bank associate was able to help solve what essentially is a very complicated keying sequence for a very simple payment. When I came on site to write this review, I was surprised at some of the negative reviews! With all due respect for other reviews posted, I can only say that is not what I experienced. Considering it was close to closing time on a Friday before Thanksgiving long weekend, I feel the bank reps here provided exceptionally good service. Thank you all once again.

This branch has one of the worst customer service. I booked an appointment to open a locker over the phone. When I got there they told me that I hadn't made any appointments. When I spoke to the lady over the phone she told me that "your appointment was confirmed and we have your name and phone number on file". When I asked her the name of the adviser that I will be meeting with. She mentioned that "when you get there whoever is there will help you to process the locker access". I left my work place early that day. When I reached there only, they told me about a confirmation email for my appointment but she didn't mention anything over the phone. They have lockers available not willing to help at all, they all act like they were giving me their own lock for free of charge. I end up booking an appointment for a different day. It was a waste of my time taking off early from my work place.

Scheduled an appointment from 9-10am one day, and asked them beforehand if I could arrive at about 9:30 and the advisor said yes. Arrived at 9:30 and had to wait 10 minutes by the “help and advice desk”, only for the advisor to come out and say that the person who was supposed to help me with my appointment was with someone else during the timeframe. When asked to reschedule, I asked them when they are available next, and they responded the next day. I said it was fine and they asked what time I was available. I asked them what times they were available because I can work around their busy schedule but they can’t change their schedule for me. The person thought I was giving them attitude, and accused me of giving attitude. I left and went to a much more helpful branch. The atms work perfectly fine though.

I have many worst experiences of this particular branch. Here is detail of one incident. I was travelling next morning to US and requested a TD US visa card for same day delivery to this branch. I called twice to the branch and they told me, 'don't walk by to branch and wait for our call'. I never received a call from the branch. At 7:30pm (Friday), I walked to the branch and asked them to check mail if they have received my credit card. They asked me 'did you receive a call from the branch?' On my response of 'No'. They told me, no way we would have received your card. On my third request, he went back to check the daily mails. He found my card on the top. Instead of saying sorry, he tried to cover him up by saying 'I think we have just received it'.

Went in for a pre-approval and received the most discourteous service. After meeting with a mortgage rep and presenting the necessary documents for the pre-approval, we were asked multiple times after for those same documents as they did make a record that we already presented them. We had to take time out of our day to keep visiting the branch when they could have simply recorded everything on the first visit. It is also taking them much longer than other banks to complete this process (it’s already been 3 weeks and still no update). Places such as RBC were able to get it done on the first meeting. Not sure if this is how all TD branches are or just a failure on this branch’s part but I do not recommend going here for pre-approvals.

Would give negative stars if that was possible. Christine is a horrible manager, not sure how she got promoted with her disgusting attitude. She has no sense of empathy for her clients and her customer service skills are poor to say the least. This TD location does not care about their clients they are purely set on hitting their quotas. Even after being a loyal TD client for 30+ years they did not help my family during our time in need when we had our home closing and needed to make a bank draft and needed a little sum of our cheque released. Rather they tried to sell us a PLC when as banking employees you would assume it's common knowledge that you should not get any loans in the final stages of a home deal closing.

This is literally the worst branch and worst financial advisors. We were informed through email and phone calls that there will be no penalty if our mortgage stayed with TD. 2 days before our closing date, the Financial Advisor Harshil called us to admit he made a mistake and had oversee the situation. He informed us that we would be charged the penalty. Have we known this sooner, we would’ve gone with RBC bank instead. Now TD took our money and we are in constant battle with this issue. Our lawyer will now have to be involved. See attached photos for proof. They do not take responsibility for their employee’s actions. DO NOT go to this location, better yet, find a better bank.

Went to buy U.S Dollars from my savings account. before the transaction i asked if i will be charged, Abel at customer service said no, 1 transaction is free. I told him to do transfer to checking first and then complete the transaction but he refused and said it was too late.. he didnt want to reverse the transaction. and he was training someone else with this lack of effort. customer service is supposed to be going above and beyond and i didnt feel that with Abel. i told him every CSR would do this without me having to ask and the one time i do now, its declined. not the fee of $1.36 its the principle that bothered me!

A month ago I was making a large cash withdrawal and the lady was being ridiculously loud about it, over and over for everyone around to hear. Was incredibly uncomfortable. Every time I come to this location, I'm treated worse than I was the previous time. Now, after sending me away for not having the necessary documentation, I brought back what they SPECIFICALLY asked me to bring and now they're saying that's not enough, and expect me to come back AGAIN. Completely useless staff. Not one person is competent or helpful.

I came to this place yesterday, I wanted to ask about my locker and i was told to go to the help desk. There was a lady working, she DIDNOT wear a name batch, or else i'd have filed complaint on her name already. She was rude, and there was a long lineup; however she asked us to wait and left the help desk to help her friends in the counter. I waited for 15 mins, and I left because it didn't look like she was coming back anytime soon. She was extremely un-professional and did not deserve to be at TD.

Judging by the past reviews, it does appear that maybe the customer service is rather horrid. However, from an unbiased standpoint, I really do love this branch. It's conveniently located near supermarkets and restaurants. It has a drive thru feature, and it has its own dedicated parking lot. For me that's all I ever really need. Plus the associates who helped me in the past have always been friendly and punctual, so I do believe that there's more to this branch than what others have been saying

I am happy with the service offered by this branch , from the time I opened the account with this branch Mr Saisorupan Mohan from personal banking team has been assisting me and providing financial advises from time to time . Ease my banking efforts and simplifies the process everytime . Other staff members are also friendly and do the needful every time I visit the branch in person. Knowledgable staff and friendly service. Sometimes there are line up at the atms otherwise its all good

Always a horribly long lineup! It doesn’t seem to matter how early or how late you go there, you will be in line for at least 30mins!! And rather than add more tellers, they have someone canvassing the line up asking them if they bank online and would like to sign up for that instead! I got news for you TD, not everyone wants to do their business online, a lot of people want or need face to face service! Especially in this particular neighborhood! Get with the program!

Booked an appointment for 8am to open an RESP Account, waited 30 minutes and the person was still not here. Very disappointed and they didn't offer anything. Will avoid this branch from now on. They apologized and said they could book me the next day. Ridiculous. I would give less stars if I could. Amended Feb 2018: I made this review months ago and not one single TD employee reacted to it in any way. Terrible that they are not keeping an eye on Google reviews.

Unacceptable behavior by Ms. REKA JANGAM 4515 Kingston road brach TD bank When I asked for branch manager she identified herself as the brach manager and I found out from her card she lied to me. Then she was soo rude and very unprofessional, she made we wait for no reason . I have many accounts with TD bank never came across an unmotivated person who is soo Angry and not willing to listen There was a new cashier at the front he also needs to be retrained

This branch has gone downhill. There used to be a teller there tiyana that actually got the line to move fast and was super friendly. I've seen her go out of the way for customers, not to mention she's smokin. not sure if she got promoted or left but she hasnt been there and overall its horrible now. Mina is super nice but all these new people are trash. If anyone knows where tiyana went please let me know because ill be changing branched wherever she is

The customer Experience manager S. Jangam(female, loads of makeup on face) who worked Saturday June 10, 2023 is very rude. How someone so unprofessional is a Manager in such an establishment makes no sense. Then I remembered most people in these industries get promotions based on who they know and not on how they work and conduct themselves. A word of advice dont try to forcefully tell people what to do with their money. It is none of your business!

This is our family home branch, for all our banking needs, we choose this branch. Always had great experience. All staff members are always helpful. Me and my husband were there last Thursday, Sofia helped us. Excellent customer services, well trained and learned. She took care of all our banking needs and processed all transactions 100% correctly and efficiently. Thank you very much Sofia and other staff members for being there for us always.

This is legitimately one of the worst locations I’ve ever been to. They make it so difficult for RESP withdrawals. The advisors at this location are so rude and unprofessional. Been turned away several times despite having the correct documents as specified by a letter I was sent by TD. The lack of consistency is absolutely ridiculous, it’s like they don’t even read the memos their employers send out. Avoid this location at all costs.

You guys need to start treating your customers better. I go to the bank to get help, not to be told by angry "customer service representative" that things will happen when they're supposed to happen. I have always recieved good customer service from TD so when I moved to this area, this branch came to me as a real surprise. It doesn't cost you money to help people, especially when that's exactly what your job is.

The other TD branch at Fenwood defensive un in informed employee who basically snubbed me and asked me to leave after I questioned her . I asked for a preapproval two weeks ago and I still haven’t received it. Each time something was missing with a document however wasn’t clearly outlined what the documents needed to contain. This whole process is unnecessarily long. Afterwards the advisor left on vacation for two weeks. Thus increasing the process to 4 weeks if we had not called the branch to complain. Ridiculous.

Service here is horrible. The lines are outrageously long to have two tellers for a busy area. Most of the staff are VERY rude ( HBIC is Christine i believe) Dont get too loud or show displeasure at their services, they will call the police without warning and scare everyone. My child asked that we never go back because its always long and the people are mean.

TD added some copy and paste boiler plate. This only reinforces that they don’t read or care about customers. Adding unnecessary barriers is unethical and harmful. They do not allow typical teller things to be completed and force you to make an appointment. This is after being told that they could do it speaking with TD phone operators.

Every time I go to this place, the experience is HORRIBLE. These people have zero customer service. The help and advice desk in particular are the most disrespectful and arrogant. They are not there to help, but rather get paid. This location shows disgrace to TD Bank itself.

I find it strange that I've been waiting in line for 30 mins. I doubt everyone is applying for a mortgage. As a previous bank rep, if you see a long line, you need to speed up the service, all while still providing good service to each client. Absolutely ridiculous.

went this location a few times, had very bad experience. Being told with difference stories regarding my money orders. Also seen an employee with extremely inappropriate clothing, slightly translucent and showing underclothes, huge tattoos on arm.

Waiting here for 20 mins. Only Two people working here. Long line up. I shouldn't have switched from CIBC. I'm writing this while waiting for service. My advice to you is, Do not switch from cibc.

Ive never been in a bank line for a freaking hour. This branch has a lot of customers but the tellers are so lacking. For a line up of atleast 20 people they only have 2 tellers its crazy.
