April 19 ,2023 was the Chris De Burgh concert. I attended with a very close friend of mine. My friend is an amputee missing a leg and has difficulty walking let alone climbing stairs. It was very difficult time climb the front cement stairs as there was no wheelchair ramp. My friend managed to climb the stairs very slowly but was exhausted entering the front door. The ticket line was just inside the doors and due to my friends time needed to recuperate, people jumped in front of us and we had to try to get back in line. Once inside we found out that our seats were down a flight of 20 stairs with no handrails to hold onto. My friend had to get the help of guests in the centre to lift him down the stairs, I'm sure it made him feel very small. At the end of the concert , my friend had to literally crawl up the stairs to get out as everyone wanted to leave in a hurry and had forgot about my friends needs. I cannot understand why every other business is mandated to be wheelchair and handicapped equipped, yet this place has nothing in place and doesn't even provide extra attendant's to help the patrons. Something must be done to better accommodate people with mobility issues that want to visit and enjoy the show.
Lansdowne Park's TD Place is a dual function stadium that includes both an open outdoor field, where the CFL Football team the Ottawa Red Blacks and an indoor ice arena where the Ottawa 67s hockey team plays. Both venues are also used to host conventions and concerts. I like going to the outdoor concerts at TD Place that has featured bands like AC / DC and the Rollings Stones. TD Place has good connections to public transit, underground parking and lots of good resturaunts in Lansdowne and the nearby community, the Glebe. Be careful about parking on the street in this area, the parking police love giving out tickets at every special event. Update City folk and blues fest is back again for concerts yahoo. If you like my reviews, photos or videos flick on your lighter and give them a standing thumbs up ovation.
Great stadium with decent food. Staff were very friendly and efficient, and I felt very safe. They had security guards as you entered, and everyone was patted down. Guys got patted down by a male guard, and women and non-binary people were patted down by a female guard. No metal detectors or scanners though. Obviously our bags were looked into and felt, and the whole entrance process only last about 1 minute overall (excluding the line to get in). We went for Panda game 2022 and it was awesome to see the stadium so packed. Drinks and food inside we quite pricey, but it was expected as most stadiums have high prices. Bathrooms were clean and stocked up, and everyone in them was very pleasant. Will definitely be going back next year (and hopefully winning for once #goravens)
Their indoor show space has such a weird layout. I bought row D seats, which were supposed to be a good view and fairly close to the front, but we were pushed so far off to the side I could barely see the stage! Not only could I barely see, there were people even further to the side so I’m sure they paid $100 to see genuinely nothing. The large screen that shows an up-close view is also in the middle of the stage behind the act so that was also useless. People who paid significantly less for further back rows paid less but had a better view. Such a shame when tickets are becoming so expensive. Werq the world was a great show (from what I could see) but the TD place definitely made what could have been an amazing experience, mediocre.
Went to Jim Jefferies on Saturday night. My whole experience was ruined by the number of people who either arrived late and I had to constantly get up from my seat to let them through or people coming and going throughout the show. I really don't know how to solve this problem, maybe do 15 minute intervals that people can leave their seat? Treat it like a hockey game? I don't know, but it was really annoying. The chairs are also SO small. Luckily I'm a small person but unfortunately the 2 on either side of me are not and did not enjoy the experience. Next time, I will pay way less, go to a small show downtown and not have to continually get up from a tiny seat.
Overall, this is a nice stadium. I enjoy this stadium for the sightlines and general feel. Atlético Ottawa is a great time. Parking is okay and not too expensive. I think OC Transpo should always have a shuttle plan similar to CTC given this is on Bank St. The only drawback is some of the food and drink options. I really think TD Place should do more in terms of expanding their menu and switch to a fan-first pricing model for all OSEG sports teams. It would definitely increase attendance, which is now a goal rather than the norm, even for the Redblacks.
Note: Review and first three photos from 2022, the rest of the photos and videos from an Atletico Ottawa soccer game in July 2023, and an international women's rugby game between Canada and Australia, also in July. As a big sports fan this is almost like a second home for me! Not only do I regularly come here for soccer and the occasional football game, but also in the attached indoor arena I like to see the Blackjacks (basketball), 67s (junior hockey), and other sports that sometimes come into town, like volleyball. A great venue that I highly enjoy.
Loved it. I enjoy this venue because it's really easy to get to our seats, there's plenty of clean bathroom space and the are merch tables on both sides. Staff was friendly and helpful, the lineup was short. It's easy to get to but the only drawback is that the parking was completely full and we had to look around for 20 minutes and there was no room, despite the fact that the staff kept accepting people into the lot. I don't think the parking lot is solely for the TD place though, so I didn't count it as part of my overall review of the venue.
The venue is fine, and the staff are lovely. The parking however is beyond frustrating and the food costs more than a new car. My recommendation here would be to PRE-PAY your parking. If you don't you are relegated to park somewhere in the painful to navigate suburbs where bylaw lies in wait to ticket you for any infraction on the poorly marked streets. The food is 1000 degree soggy hot dogs, $16 beer, and churros. Don't expect great food. The area around TD place is interesting to explore with some nice restaurants such as Joey's,
TD Place as an entertainment centre offers good stage viewing of singers, comedians and other live show entertainers. The smaller audience capacity is welcoming for me. Parking is limited so reserve early or make other arrangements. Eateries are good at TD Place, reservations are advisable. Event ticket systems have had some changes lately and the transitions could have been made better for ticket holders. TD Place event's staff are helpful if there are issues to resolve. The event experience is generally very good.
It’s a really nice stadium!! Has 1 huge screen, pops fireworks when needed, quiet huge. Expensive food and drinks though. Food and Drinks not allowed but can carry empty bottle to fill it inside with water. Can get really chilly during the winter games as it’s all outdoors and no heaters around the seating or inside. The south side is the side closer to the main entrance Gate 1 and North is over the corner gate 2 - save yourself the trouble of walking all the way. They have fountain water sinks and washrooms (:
I went for the Ottawa vs Montreal football game. It was a lot of fun. The food was good there's a huge buffet and they keep stocking it up. I started on one side of the stadium and eventually made it up to the lounge area. I was lucky to be invited to a box lounge. It was great, the seats were very comfortable. Free beer and soda. There's a buffet with a good variety of food and a bar for cocktails. This was my 3rd time and I will definitely be back again. The staff was friendly and washrooms were clean.
Attending a REDBLACKS game tomorrow, was able to visit the stadium today... Its one of the best multisport complexes that I've seen, and I've seen quite a few... the entire Lansdowne area is one of the coolest vibes I've had the pleasure of witnessing... In fact, the city of Ottawa is a hidden gem. I've been so impressed with the stadium and with the City, and I haven't even visited the Parliament area yet...
It might seem that TD place is just the outdoor stadium, but note that there’s a fully enclosed stadium underneath the open stadium, where I watched a great hockey game. The concession offerings are lacklustre to be honest and don’t include lots of obvious staples, but the staff more than makes up for that by being super friendly and accommodating. A nice plus are the renovated chairs, quite comfortable to sit in for several hours.
You have to buy parking BEFORE THE EVENT? Even with season pass. As per usual sporting events, the food and drinks are over priced ($6.5 for a hotdog, $6 for a soft drink, $9 for a chili dog). Even with it raining on a winter day they failed to put up any cover for the front rows or the players. With players slipping and sliding on the astroturf, they didn’t think it may be a good idea to do something about it?
Easy entry in a relatively small venue. Seats are cramped like economy airline tickets. Sound is good. Food and drinks are typical arena food - and pricy. I recommend a meal and drink elsewhere before or after the show if you can. The parking garage is a little pricy, but you can sometimes park on the streets nearby - just watch the many different parking signs including 1hr, 2hr zones.
TD Place at Lansdowne is always a joy. However compared to other CFL city stadiums TD place is below average. The north side stands are old, seats are typically to narrow and the lack of football edicate by fans is criminal. You dont push your way to your seat during plays. Staff need to be better trained. Hopefully the renovations will reinvigorate the experience.
Great place to watch the CFL or concert! The energy is really good at this place. And the food is better than most comparable venues. Drinks are easy to find and spread out everywhere. Very easy to get to using the buses on game day. And the underground parking is nice when it's open for the general public. All around awesome spot for family and friends.
Great place for a major event! The facility is extremely well maintained located in the heart of Glebe neighbourhood! It is also surrounded by nice a massive lawn, blended with a playground for kids, splash pad, basketball court, local market, a few restaurants and some local and other businesses! Fantastic scenery!
I was very disappointed. The top third of the on-stage screen was cut off from view!! TD Place should have ensured that the entire stage was visible from every seat. I estimate that a third of the audience wasn't able to see the top of the screen. The performance was excellent. The venue was shockingly poor.
So try to go car show n farmers market Sunday they have the parking on both sides blocked so you can't pull over to unload wheelchair they for you to park under ground they even have the handicap spots blocked this should be illegal to do if you need accesiable parking this is not the activity place for you
I've been to two Atletico Ottawa matches here so far this summer. The stadium is easy to get to with convenient underground parking. Pedestrian and vehicle traffic is managed well to keep people flowing at entry and exit times. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I got out after the match.
I went to see Jimmy Carr and it was a great show. Entry into the building was efficient and there were lots of drinks vendors. It was an evening show and it got quite hot, the A/C coddle keep up with a spring day. Getting out of the site onto Bank St was challenging, that was the major downside.
Really a great venue with amazing staff and well-organized seating. When recently attending a show, we only had to wait 5 minutes to enter and have our bags screened and they had converted men bathrooms for women to use (mostly middle age woman attending). I hope they have more shows announced
This stadium is Ottawa’s largest outdoor stadium for pro football and home of the Ottawa Red Blacks. There are definitely better food and drink options than there were a couple years ago and the stadium is now surrounded by a bunch of great restaurants and places to grab a drink pre/post game!
Private box with the company, staff super friendly, privately escorted to our suite when we couldn't find it...great time...and the RedBlacks new QB is something else...he totally earned his years salary in that one game, phenomenal sneaky MF he is...but we need unpredicability...Go RB
Great atmosphere and extremely clean. Very well renovated and looks really nice. There's a good park that is well used by the community and the shops and restaurants are pretty good too. Overall a very nice place to hang out. There seems to be something going on here every weekend
There was awesome transit to get there, lots of food options comfy seats and super friendly staff working there. Our team lost but it was still a great experience and I love there was a water bottle filler (it’s close to the entrance at gate 2 so fill up when you get there).
TD place is a fantastic venue for concerts and football. Not a bad seat in the place to watch the game. The concessions are great and prices reasonable. The lack of parking does not bother me as I am within walking distance, but I can see it being a problem for others.
Fun place to watch an Atletico or Redblacks game. Having no drinking fountains on the North side stands is just wrong, especially on hot days. They should also settle on either having a smoking area, or allowing smokers to leave and re-enter instead of neither option.
Was recently here for the escapede music festival. The location was amazing. Centrally located and the way the stages were set up was perfect for sound. Also loved the bathrooms in the stadium. They were large and clean and defiantly better then using an outhouse.
First time to TD stadium watching a básquetbol game, sound is so bad need a better surround system. It's really hard to hear and understand the announcement and the people talking into the microphone. Excessive price for water and popcorn. …
I enjoyed watching the hockey game between 67'S and Wolves .. now the 4 stars are due to the seats and screens sizes. I wish the seats were a bit bigger and the screens as well, so that we can watch the replays for each goal with more clearity.
The park is nice and clean. Kids enjoying the ramps for skating and scootering. However, there is a mechanical room next to the playground with easy access to the roof. I saw many kids climbing up to the roof without any security or railings.
Realistically the only Large outdoor venue for sports/events in Ottawa. Seats are close together so you will be touching the person beside you. Note: there is an LCBO beside the center so save your dollars - for the cheapscapes reading this.
Nice place and the Staff was great, even though we were wearing our Oshawa Generals jerseys! Very unique place with Junior Hockey, football and soccer all in one Complex. Do not drive there. Take public transit which is very good in Ottawa.
First time I've been to TD Place for a concert venue. Nicely laid out and everyone seemed to have a good view of the stage. This particular concert had a dance pit in front of the stage (ice level) that added beautifully to the experience.
Big arena, everything is a bit of a walk though. Lots of different food options to choose from, good standing room concourse as well. The entire stadium is wheelchair accessible except for the grandstands, and I could see many employees
The football stadium is beautiful, but the hockey arena is still not renovated. It is essentially the original Civic Centre. The seats and layout is the same as always. There were literally broken and mold stained sound tiles above our
An interesting venue. The Ottawa 67s put on a very professional game day operation. I came all the way from Windsor to watch the 67s play London and it was well worth the drive. Any OHL fan should catch a 67s game at TD Place !
Picked up a coffee around 11 am. It was lovely walking through the ground. Would have loved to find a nice shaded area with some benches near the gardens are very nice. Fun to be able to watch the Red Blacks training camp.
Terrible traffic last km to parking lot. Seats too close to row in front. I’m not that tall bit knees still up against row in front. No paper towels in men’s bathroom. Lineups to women’s bathroom atrocious at intermission
Best location in ottawa for a football stadium. Red Blacks organization has best solution for transportation to stadium. Really don't like e-tickets. North stands really do need restoration. Now if team could only win!
Wonderful venue great views, they do need more bathrooms & they could label the seats better & not run out of food when people are trying to get it in-between breaks in game play but other than that very nice place
Great fun for the family. Free Parking off-site and take free bus there and back. Much faster than driving to Landsdowne itself. Except today it took 42 minutes from Canada Post to TD place. That is rediculus...
Still not a great design in terms of getting to one's seats. Rows are very long too, so if one gets up a lot of people might need to stand and allow them to pass. Great atmosphere, though prices are very high.
As to be expected for a stadium. Food was alright, not a big selection on coolers but expect everything for purchase there to be pricey.. including a bottle of pop. Either way had a blast, great experience.
Great venue for sports. This was my first visit and I had a great time. The concessions leave A LOT to be desired. Two stars at best. I loved everything else. Not to mention the RedBlacks won the game!!
TD place is a great stadium and I’m very happy whenever a local team hosts a game here. Staff are very friendly although concession stands are expensive… Would like more water fountains too.
Went to see Jimmy Carr. Great show. Worst seating arrangement. No leg room, no space in between them, and the front row tickets were little black chairs. Really? Not an impressive venue
I love the whole complex at TD place. The atmosphere before a game is fun and there are so many restaurants and spots to explore. I really like what they've done with the whole place.
Great venue in a great hood but if you aren't from Ottawa (first welcome) beware of traffic going in and out and the parking is a b****ch. I recommend you bus or bike. Have fun.
Went to the 67s game with my daughter and she had an absolute blast. It was her first ever hockey game. Only down side is the price of even non alcoholic drinks is a little high
The stadium is fine, but not especially modern. Lineups for consessions & bathrooms are unmanageable, best not to go at breaks. Good atmosphere, & field views solid 3 stars.
Lots of good spot to eat and have fun . I always go there with my family . Games are fun . You can find anything that you are searching .Panda games are neat .
My First time to watch football it was so much fun than I expected Redblacks vs. Calgary ! We came earlier to see around and to look for our rows! …
Buddies and I came here for the Atlético home opener. Could not have been happier! What an awesome afternoon and a great way to enjoy the beautiful weather!
Great venue for outdoor and indoor events. It took me a bit of time to figure out there is a skating rink attached. Glebe is also a vibrant part of Ottawa.
Overall, my experience with TD hasn't been bad. However, the coffee is horrible, so go for some before or after the game/event you're watching. GO ARGOS!!
Fan experience in the private boxes couldn't be better. Great sightlines, food was terrific. Getting out of the parking garage was an absolute nightmare.
Expensive food and drinks but what else can you expect. The new stadium is bright and beautiful and clean. They could use a few hundred extra toilets ;)
I work at the TD place, so I get to watch the games while working. In summers, the Redblack's season and in winters Ottawa 67's season are predominant.
Great CPL match. Good food and drink. Reasonable prices. Well designed retail residential space around the stadium. Friendly people. Love Ottawa
On field with a Zumba event. Top notch facility. Helpful staff. Great location, lots of restos and entertainment around. Expensive paid parking.
Nice facility. The suites are nice. We came for a football game. The food was much lower quality and less variety than Scotiabank center though.
Loved it! We had great seats right behind the Redblacks team bench and we were on score board screen several times. Pretty thrilling.
Large venue with great parking. Landowne area is super sweet with a huge underground parking garage that is 3asily street accessible.
Went to my first football game , had a great time even though the game was delayed due to lightning. Vendors are extremely expensive
Canada women's team with an awesome victory, in our home town. What a facility and game experience!! Now add Atletico to the final!!
TD place is a nice stadium for Canadian Football. A lot of open areas. You see the game well from any seat. Tons of standing spaces.
Obviously the best stadium in Ottawa, went to the redblacks game in the top section ( suites) all you can eat food and great service
Nice outdoor field for football and soccer. I had the opportunity to see the Canadian women's soccer team play against New Zealand
The seating and sound were better than I expected but the bars close at intermission and there are no in and out privileges.
Great place to watch a game a little pricey for food, drinks snacks over all its great experience fun for the whole family
Great place to spend the evening with the family or friends, lots of restaurant to grab a bite before heading to the game.
Actually a pretty nice arena My LUG team usually winds up in the OHL ref room tho, not a lot of space for 14 guys...
Went there for a work event and watched the Red Blacks, it was an awesome experience and it was well managed
Great buffet while at the game, not to mention the Redblacks came back to win a movie like win in overtime.
You got to try out this tasty montreal steak cheese melt sandwich when watching the Ottawa 67s hockey game.
Amazing Game! Ottawa v. Montreal...such an exciting game right to the end.. Amazing site lines and Views.
Nicely setup. Nice special events. Lots of food and shopping options. Good traffic control on game days.
Great place for shows and concerts. STAY AWAY from the north side food better options on the south side.
Courtesy of Myers Barrhaven Hyundai to enjoy the game... amazing time spent with some of our employees
Fun time. Good show. Don't go if the sun is out. Damn hot and zero shade. Evening events are a blast.
Soccer match was attractive. Fans were having a good time. Team store staff were great and helpful.
Great stadium not many seats but nice atmosphere!! Was there for NHL 100 classic, great experience
I went to go see Billy Talent, Anti flag and Rise against here in 2007. It was a phenomenal time!
Awesome stadium. Pick your side carefully or the sun will empede your ability to enjoy the game.
A great place for watching sports. Organized when there is a game and everyone is very helpful.
The show ( SW plus orchestra) was great, the seats were instruments of medieval torture.
Excellent seats & fast friendly food service & interactive during the football game!
Great view for budget friendly seats! Highly recommend the south side!
Better food stands than the Senators arena. Good Hockey game.
