"The first time i went to the TMC library was last year, i payed 10$ to get the access card , then i stopped going for a while, and when i went back again my card didn't work, they gave me an e-mail address to communicate with in order to be approved for a researcher card, i did send an email and the reply was pretty quick ( less than 24 hours even though it was a weekend ), i printed that email and took it with me to the circulation desk, and i got my researcher card ( you need to bring your ID and 15$ ) the card is valid for 3 months "

A little over a year ago, I received an access card to use this library. I paid a fee and was told I could use the library as much as I want for as long as I want. I recently came back to library only to find out my access card to the library was no longer valid. The assistant at the circulation desk told me she had to take my card if I wasn't going to renew. I was disconcerted by this, as I was under a different impression from what was communicated to me previously. Unsure if i should sure renew at that moment, I let her take the card. What she failed to mention as she took my card, was that if I didn't renew at that moment while the card was mine, I would have VERY limited access to the library in the future. I returned to the library the next day only to be told I was not able to use the library at that time, and I would only have access to the library once per week, excluding the weekends. I should also mention that during these encounters, the staff was unfriendly and uncommunicative. When I inquired further about these changes, the staff simply said, "This is our new policy. You can read the policy over there," as they proceeded to treat me as an interloper unworthy of their time or respect as a human being.

The place has many seats with a nice view on the 1st floor, the ground floor has a café theme study area which is nice. You can smell the dust, Just like almost all the libraries, i wish if the place was better ventilated. You might need to bring a jacket or a small blanket as it gets pretty cool sometimes. They have vending machines ( water, soda, juice, energy drinks, chocolate, cookies, potato chips...etc ) a microwave and a small dining table. They have a free Wi-Fi and also many desktops. And if you're planning to spend a long time there you can step outside if you just got bored of studying as the area is really nice.

The desk guy closed the door on me while I was walking towards him to ask about the library. I opened the door and asked if I could access the library since it says “public” on the website. I showed him my student id from UT and he said “it’s not for other students from other universities they only take their own students”. 1- misleading people with false information 2- rude 3- who close the door on people like that?
Emmanuel the African american? Was rude He ask me to leave after one hour of use the computer," I was very quite as usual no problems i had in another library .I ask for supervisor..he Said Im the superviser" I been here 4 time before more than one hour using th he computer, when another people is around beside him and they never tod me about this policy" Weird or bad employee alert...
This is the lib in med center where all the students from med field are open to go and study but not acceptable how rude the stuffs are , the whole team stuffs should be replace to make this lib alive ......very sad thing seeing those kinds of rude ppl around med center even at the lib where is the most educated ppl should work ......
lib itself is a very nice place to study but stuffs are very rude as everyone has been complaining about .....bad experienced with Jesse (very unprofessional) , they seem like they dont want to be there working but i guess no one is forcing them to be there .....
The staff are rude! The tone they use is very condescending and like the do not want to help. The library it self is great. I’m not sure if I just came on a bad day for some of the staff, but they seem to not want to help or they don’t want to be at work.
The electronic resources that the TMC library has are less user-friendly than at peer institutions. Update: TMC has changed their process for online access, and now it's quite good! 5 stars.
I like to study here because it opens late until 10pm on the weekdays and also weekends and offers great views from many study corners. No public parking is shortcoming but understandable.
Very quiet for studying. Second floor is being renovated so its only study corrals at the moment. Unless you're a Baylor or UT Health student, you can only go once a week.
If you don't attend the school you can only visit once a week, and never on weekends. Other than that its nice and quite, everything you would expect from a library.
Frustration! the lack of communication skills by the front desk made my day awful..... they all need to train very well how to talk respectful professionally....
Very rude staff. Harassing students and people inside library. Will escalate. Shouldn’t be hired in first place.
Nearest Library is not a public library for lame people only Medical Central Personal.
Building looks way better now that remodeling is mostly complete!!!
Professional and helpful staff. Do wish hours extended longer.
Very good place for study ,,and friendly staff
