THE DUBLIN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY S FRONTAGE STANDS ON THE SITE OF THE FAMOUS JACOBS BISCUIT FACTORY ONE OF THE BUILDINGS USED IN THE NINETEEN SIXTEEN RISING. I WAS FORTUNATE TO KNOW ONE OF ITS LECTURES ROBERT WHO DIED SUDDENLY LAST YEAR .HE LOVED THE BUILDING HE LOVED THE STUDENTS IN IT. I ALSO KNEW THE PORTER JIMMY TICKITY BU WHO WAS A GREAT FRIENDS SADLY HE HAS ALSO JOINED THE ANGELS. I BELIEVE I ASO KNOW ANOTHER LECTURER TIM COUGHLIN FROM CLARE GE USED TEACH IN THE COLLEGE OF RATHMINES ANYBODY THAT WORKS IN DUBLIN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY SEEMS TO LOVE THE PLACE AND ITS STUDENTS . I HAVE TO CONFESS I HAVE NEVER BEEN INSIDE THE BUILDING YET BUT I MUST HAVE A GAWK ONE OF THESE DAYS IN AUNGIER STREET

This is where I work, so of course, I love it! A wonderful University with a huge centre of support for students. Proper pastoral care with a great team. Caring and talented teachers, excellent resources and equipment. Located in a great place, superb for meeting friends or choosing from the myriad of restaurants nearby to go for a meal. We're all due to go to the new and fabulous Grangegorman site and the new campus, but for now, I'm totally enjoying being in Aungier street campus.

some of the best years of my life in DIT, thankful of were i am today because of the education i received. Took me a while to get there but in the end i walked away with a great experience and education that i will not forget.

It's amazing! I love it here the lecturers are nice and the student friendly the only problem is finding parking that doesn't cost a small fortune but that's Dublin for you!

I spent many years in the university. Besides from the obvious, it's location is great for students wishing to be in the heart of Dublin City.

Spent 10 years studying here, MSc MSc, b.eng.tech absolutely loved my time here. Friendly and helpful staff.

It is a great place to be. You will never disappointed if you or your children decided to study over there.
