How would it be to live in the 20th century where most everything is controlled via technology. Well I learned yesterday that targets app/system hasn’t caught their systems up with the times. There I was in the comfort of my home checking the availability of a product I needed to gift and this store was showing “in stock.” I pack up the little ones and drive on out. To my surprise, I get there and they are “sold out.” Surely what I was after was purchased within the last hour of me checking online. Welp… there I was checking the availability of the next target. If you asked me if I drove 10 miles to get to the location showing “in stock,” I would disappointedly answer, “yes.” Got to the next target and they show “in stock.” -just a side note… you know how Walmart can pinpoint what aisle your product your looking for is on, can you guys do that too? Instead of the department it’s in. If that’s your way of getting people to walk down all your aisles then I guess I get it. I wouldn’t want to miss out on a sale opportunity either.- I walk down all the aisles and can’t find what I’m looking for. I keep refreshing the app and it shows “2 in stock.” Well I only need 1. So hunting for it was really annoying. I find a store associate and ask her. She looks up what I’m looking for and she goes, “we don’t have any.” She looks up the inventory at other stores and sure enough she tells me the last target I was at has 10. I was like, I was just there and they showed out of stock. Now I didn’t actually walk into the store because as those of us who live in the 20th century, you assume their systems would be with the times and up to date. My solution. Don’t shop at target. Wasted my time and gas thinking your systems are in tune.
Today an unruly customer came in the store and refused to wear a mask in the store. Believing that she was above everyone else, on top of having no concern for fellow customers and employees. She was absolutely belligerent and unable to accept the company policy of required masks. This customer began to verbally harass the employee (Jaye). The customer was calling this employee horribly offensive names, and being transphobic toward them. Jaye stuck up for themself and did not allow this cruel customer to endanger employees and customers by not wearing a mask, breaking Salt Lake County rules as well as Target’s. Target management decided the best course of action was to terminate Jaye’s employment, not backing this loyal employee and in turn allowing this selfish customer to think she was in the right. I am deeply disappointed in this location’s management and question their ability to do what is right. I hope that someone at the corporate level can make this right. Until then, I will no longer be shopping at Target. In today’s social climate, we cannot allow this behavior from patrons. We must stick with one another during these extremely difficult times. I believe that the management at this location is either transphobic, or they are unable to handle tough situations in a fair way. Both are extremely scary. This Target is private property and the employees at the store had every right to deny this customer to shop when they were unwilling to comply with store policy. I hope that this review will reach others and some will realize the wrongs of their actions, or will encourage our community to band together and stand up for what is right. Thanks.
I want to express how impressed I am with the staff at this location. Most of all Tim, who was working the evening my bicycle was stolen. When I realized my means of transportation had been stolen. Tim approached me with concern empathy and assurance all that could be done would be done. Rarely do you deal with people that are both professional and personable when a customer is upset. People that steal do so because they feel entitled and because they can. Even when caught there is little chance of repercussions that will make them think twice about doing it again. Hah what a joke. Back to Tim. I am not young in age and this is not the first time I have been a victim of theft. However, it is the very first time anyone has done anything useful. I had to call for a ride because I had more than I could carry. Before my ride showed Tim called me to inform me there was video of the theft and that the person had been in the store. He had clear picture of the thief. Omgosh! Incredible and comforting. Sadly, the police were the exact opposite. Doubtful they will ever take the time to look at the evidence. I know I will never see my bike again. Sure would be nice to know for one time that the creep would be held accountable. Just maybe it would be the last time this person would do it again. Cannot place bets since there are no odds. Thank you Tim! An ounce of piece is invaluable! Truly mourning my bike.
This review is specifically about the location on 300th in Salt Lake City. I love target as an overall brand and company but this individual location as several problems. First, the parking lot entrances are intermittently under construction, so getting in and out of the lot is chaos. Second, there are never more than one real people check out stations, which is fine, except then the self checkout line is a mile long. The employees are constantly changing which direction they want said self check out line to go in, and there are no obvious markers about where the line starts, which means the line often has three lines funneling into one. Nothing is laid out in a way that makes sense for the flow of people inside, compared to other company locations. They are out of many random items that makes it seem like they aren't ordering supply correctly. None of the employees seem to know what is going on in their store so every time I have been in, myself or someone else is being told to not stand here or there because of reasons they can't explain. I have never been when they aren't restocking items in the grocery department, but they're still out of many things. Overall, this location is not functioning, and if you can get away with going to a different location, you should. Also never come here after 2pm, place is a madhouse. Sorry Target, I love you, but please send someone to fix this store.
Target has AT&T working back in electronics trying to get people to upgrade their phones. The person name is Megan who I dealt with. She asked if I wanted and I agreed because I thought she was with TMobile. She asked me who I was with but never actually stated who she is from. My bad for not making her tell me exactly who she is with her words. I didn't make her so she did the whole process under dubious circumstances. When you sell something and never divulge who you work for it is called manipulation. Lying by omission. I didn't learn she was an AT&T employee until I was in Puerto Rico the next week getting emails about a phone from AT&T. I asked her if she worked for my phone company or Target because she knew alot about phones. She said the phone company sent her. She never said where she was from and because I didn't make her she acted she was with my phone company TMobile. AT&T sent me an expensive new phone and almost stole my phone number I had for years. Luckily I saw the email and figured out what it was about. This was ridiculous. I will not ever be back because of you Megan or AT&T. Target needs to stop letting these people exploit their customers
There is a lady who works in the home goods section with the rugs and shelves and stuff who is the meanest employee I have ever had deal with. My first interaction when moving to Salt Lake in May was with her. She was mad to help me get a shelf, she was mad when I told her I actually needed another one. Every time I have needed something from that department that isn't out or even if I had a question she had the nastiest attitude. I also know it is not just me because I have overheard and seen her act with other customers in the same way. I'd rather drive to a further target than deal with how rude and unpleasant she is. The dude with the long hair who works behind the customer service counter literally apologized for her one time when she acted out in front of him. She scared me and made me nervous to go into that department to the point I thought about complaining but didn't want to be treated worse if something wasn't done about her. I am writing this review now because I just moved again and will never go back there. The rest is just like a normal target. Nothing special.
I've had a few negative experiences at this store before but never bothered to leave a review, but I had another one, so I finally decided to leave a review. Overall, the store itself is fine. Where it fails at times is employee training. Some employees there are intellectually challenged. Any experienced shoppers know how coupons work. They also know that when a company issues a special coupon for a special occasion, their coupon won't be always recognized by a retailer's system and that it needs to be processed manually. Well, this store's employee and his manager treated me like I was trying to use a fake coupon or something and refused to honor it. Not only that, this particular employee read the term where it said "reimbursed UP TO $6.99" and completely misunderstood what it meant and lectured me that the product price had to be greater than $6.99. I'm shocked by the lack of common sense among some employees at this store. Thanks for humiliating a customer and holding up the line for what should have been a simpler shopping process.
I've been shopping at this Target for a while now and since covid started doing the curbside pickup. The app, shopping lists, and rewards are all great. My problem is with the store itself. EVERY ORDER for the last 6 months has had at least one item missing, bread smashed, or the wrong product entirely. It's frustrating when you make a list and they consistently mess up your order. This store should bag groceries like it's for themselves and not combine heavy items with bread just because it's on the pickup order. The reason why I'm writing this review is the problem is getting worse. The latest example was my recent order... Almost half of it was missing and you fulfilled the cream cheese portion, but forgot the bagels which now I no longer need the cream cheese. Unless Target does something to reconcile this situation I am no longer going to be shopping at the store and will be going to Harmons / Kroger.
I've been doing a lot of my shopping for moving into my first apartment lately, so I've been grabbing basic amenities and groceries here and there. I was given an e-gift card to Target for just this reason. However, I was initially unable to use it as the email I was sent did not have complete information. The staff were very helpful and friendly while assisting me with this problem, and eventually I was able to get a physical copy of the card. I was and am very thankful for their help, as I was able to get much of what I needed with the funds now available to me. The prices are decent, and if one shops smart with the non-name brands, the grocery bill is very tolerable. The store is clean, well organized, and very large. It is still possible to get a little lost looking for specific items, but again, staff are very willing to help and are quite polite in doing so.
I stopped in fairly early this morning to grab a few items. The store was pleasant and not very busy. However, when I went to the checkout, they only had self checkout open and no other associates at cash registers to assist customers. The self checkout wait time was more than 5 minutes. I fully understand the need to reduce labor cost. And frankly, I wasnt in a hurry. So the wait time wasnt a big deal. However, I find it difficult to do business with a company that transfers that actual labor to their customers. What if you went into a lumber yard and you needed a 2x4 but you had to operate the equipment to get your product? What if instead of a carton of eggs you had to actually go collect and clean them for the opportunity to purchase them? I will not use a self checkout kiosk any more....and you shouldn't either.
Spent an hour there trying to purchase noise reducing headphones with a long cord - there are plenty behind glass or on a secure rack. Can't read the box because of this which is fine but tried to get help from 4 associates. They couldn't tell which had cords or not. I was open to purchasing 1 to try the gamble...no one had access to release any of the secured products. So, no purchase and an hour wasted. Got in the car, drove 2 minutes to Best Buy, found the same headphones that were at Target and the only employee I interacted with knew about the headphones and sold me what I wanted in 3 minutes. Same item at Target but no one knew anything about it or how to get it out of its secure display. Just go to Best Buy down the street to ask them about the stuff at Target and you'll have what you need in 5 minutes.
They support Scammer company's! I went there to get a Xbox X for my son birthday. Guy in electronics told me they was out. But had some he could sell on the credit card line through citizens pay. Recommend setting up a account and then when you get the billing pay it all off. That's what other people do. Ok Xbox is $499. Did the set up over the phone like the guy suggestion. Took the Xbox was happy at the time. Then got the bill. $900 dollars! Ouch! I called to ask why and to see about paying it Off. High price was for set up fees and interest. Ok I'll eat a extra $400. how do I pay you completely off They will not except my credit card or Bank card. The only way to pay it off or make a payment is they want your routing number and bank access personal information etc. No way! Scammers!
-Long wait to get help in electronics. -Employees didn't offer customer service, customers have to run after them for help. -Half of what we bought was in the wrong location with the wrong price, and there is no UPC for customers to check to make sure themselves. When we complained about this, the cashier asked us to go back and take a photo, so we did and brought it back and were told the price shown would not be honored and was rude ("So do you want to take it off or what?") and items being in the wrong location has been the case every time we visit. -Pee all over the toilet in the women's restroom. -Just 3 self-checkouts, and some customers used one for a completely packed cart (more than 50 items) while customers with less than 10 waited and watched.
Electronics’s guy was friendly.. BUT I showed him the picture of what my apartment needed for a router, so not only did he not know that I picked out the wrong one, he made me get a cord that I asked if was already in the box, which it was. He even asked me a million questions about if I was moving, if WiFi was included, etc., so he could’ve been helpful with all that information, if he was going to be so nosy. & Instead of being good at his job, he then see’s my wedding ring & tells me that his sister makes jewelry that looks like it & told me to go follow her on Instagram. It’s pretty insulting to say someone’s wedding ring looks homemade & I really don’t want to go to a store and be bothered about so many things from the employee.
Every time I come to this target specifically, the cashiers here are SO RUDE. Two young female cashiers made my SEVERELY autistic son feel so uncomfortable, he makes very loud noises (he doesn’t mean to) due to his disability and the whole time they were giving him dirty looks/laughing and making little comments to each other. I have never seen my son so embarrassed and upset due to the way they made him feel today! He is only 6 years old. If I would have known a quick target stop would’ve affected my son today the way it did I would’ve never went. It’s really so upsetting, I don’t wish this upon anybody!! Target should really be ashamed of themselves. There is NO way my son is the first to go through this from THEM!
I went to this location today, and I went through self-checkout. I just remembered the cashier's name. Amy the cashier was getting in my son's face, she was literally about only two inches away from his face. I kept checking to see what she was doing. It was very uncomfortable and VERY WEIRD (as she wouldn't stop) I know it doesn't say in the job description to get in babies faces. My son is already sick and I don't need him to get any worse, she could be sick for all I know or maybe she didn't wash her hands after using the bathroom (as she was touching my son too) this is very unacceptable behavior. As you are the cashier. I'm his mother you ask before you touch someone else's child if you are a stranger.
One thing I really like about Target is their line of Environment friendly cleaning products. I myself have never used any of there all natural products and to be honest never will but I like the idea of them. I'm old school in the fact that I like my chemical products. Over last few months I've been shopping there more and more. My only complaint with this location is that last 2 times I've tried to use the red phone for assistance and have ended up standing there for 10 minutes and still no assistance. So frustrating I just end up trying to find what I was looking for by myself. * Very best thing that about this store is that they have a cell phone charging system by custom service desk.
This Target location seems to be consistently understaffed and those who are working seem uninterested in their job. In addition, my wife ordered something online and had it delivered to this store, but when she went to pick it up the item had disappeared. The staff looked for 30 minutes for the item and finally concluded that it must have been put out on the shelves and resold. She never did get the item she requested and although she got a discount on another item she purchased, it was only after she demanded it. Besides these issues, the store is clean and offers a large selection of items. The location is a bit out of the way, however, for most people who live in Salt Lake City.
Ashley (who I believe to be the front supervisor) called a group of customers to her line (including myself) but once I approached the conveyer belt to place my items, she then tells me she's closed and to go back to the line I was just in. To take it a step further, after a nice employee checked me out as I'm about to leave. ASHLEY does the same thing. Hopping from register to register (I'm guessing only picking and choosing which customers she'll take). Seemed like her primary focus was numbers and taking the human connection/customer service piece out. This is unfortunate because I spend a great deal at this Target but this recent visit makes me not want to come back.
I’m not someone who likes to leave bad reviews. However, I came in a day early for a book release (my fault) and was told to come back the next day. 100% fine. I come in the next day, and am told that the books are still in boxes and I can come back the next day if I’d like! Or later today! I was told by someone who works at a different Target that this was laziness. I’m not sure if that’s 100% true or not, but I was very disappointed that they couldn’t pull out my book (I was told they only had five in stock). I will say, the service was friendly — as someone who works in retail however, I just found that this was disappointing.
(Update: Pickup issue seemed to have been resolved after online feedback.) Unlike the speedy online pickup experience I've had in Boston, in this particular SLC store, nobody acknowledged me at the online pickup line for 3-5 minutes. When I moved over and waited for my turn at the return/exchange line, I was told to move back to the online pickup line. Not a big deal---but corporate should ask store management to prioritize online pickup over returns/exchanges. They should remember that the one major attribute of online pickups is speed. I suppose the staff is inexperienced, so a simple reminder from management should suffice.
Miles above and beyond Wal*Mart in every way. Customer service is exceptional, employees are treated much better, and even the selection is superior, with far less inventory coming from other countries than its notorious counterpart. I can find almost anything I need here, and the option for home delivery via Shipt was a game changer for me this year, allowing my household to avoid the throngs of unmasked, half-masked, and/or unvaccinated stooges that populate this state and prefer to shop with all two branches of their family tree at once. TL;DR: Target's pretty great. Wal*Mart sucks. The end.
I love Target. I’ve been to many. This Target is the worst. The customer service is non-existent. The cashiers aren’t friendly or helpful. You’ll be lucky just to get eye contact during check out. The displays and aisles are unorganized and messy. There is trash in the entry ways and the women’s bathroom is disgusting (can’t speak for the men’s). Broken soap dispensers, no paper towels, and trash litters the stalls. I won’t even try to describe the smell. I’m not sure who is running this store, but I would be embarrassed. This place needs a serious face lift and attitude adjustment.
I had the worst experience possible at this target location with being profiled based on the appearance of my clothing. I do not recommend this location to anyone. I went in to to buy a pair of pants and shirt after I went to the gym. I was using the self check-out and I didn't use a bag to put my clothes to try and reduce the use of plastic, which should seem less suspicious of me trying to steal something. Considering that I was holding both items of clothing out in the open with my receipt on top and I was profiled because I was wearing sweats, a fleece button up and a beanie.
I have to throw out a special mention to Keisha, who helped me in the holiday section! She made the experience of finding a certain tree star very fun. She found it and then found me in the store! Great employees there. This is my old review.I was not feeling well but had to go in and get some supplies. A very nice and energetic young lady named Madeline? Or Magdalene? ran and got me the microwave I wanted, from the back, and also went and got me some Easter grass from the back of the store. That was so helpful! They also carry organic, lactose free whole milk which I like.
This is one of the large Target locations, has groceries & such too. It's clean, we'll stocked & organized. The only complaint I have is they can't seem to decide where to place the large, main gift card display. There are a few common gift cards at the registers for quick purchases but if you want to browse the full selection you have to hunt for where they moved it this month. Half the time it's out of the way, in the very back of the store. Aside from the gift card scavenger hunt it's an excellent location to shop at. Much nicer than WalMart, better stuff, decent prices.
Aside from the friendly staff, this is probably the worst Target I have ever been to. The makeup and skin-care oils are always bear and what's left on the Shelf are open containers that people have used and put it back. As I was leaving I used the restroom... The bathrooms stink and I think the housekeepers quit days ago, there is toilet paper everywhere, a clogged toilet and the empty tp rolls on the floor. This target never has what I'm looking for because they don't keep things in stock. The only good thing about this target is the friendly staff that is willing to help.
I've lived up here for about a year and was driving to the Walmart near this store for the first few months. And I gotta say this is the obvious choice. The employee's are super friendly and I've never been disappointed. I've worked grocery for a long time so I think I'm a little biased, meaning I don't have a typical crazy expectation of what my experience there should be like. But with that I'm able to notice the things they're doing right, and its just about all of them. Hopefully employee's are getting the recognition they deserve.
This is the dirtiest target I’ve ever been in. Their clothes were just on the ground in piles. When I was at the self check out I accidentally scanned something twice and hit the help button. I turned around and 4 workers were standing at the little station, all talking, not looking at customers. My friend and I were staring at them and when any of them looked over they would glare at me or roll their eyes. We stood for 3 minutes waiting for help and ended up leaving without buying anything because we didn’t want to double pay.
I was able to find what I wanted, for a price that I was most happy with but have found it for a lesser price online elsewhere but didn't want to pay shipping. Target has always had what I wanted. Pick up is easy peasy!! I will make this purchase again in the future because the product was available at a fair price and the wait to pickup was maybe 2 whole minutes. If I could do a one handed cartwheel I would have but since I can't I would use both hands. But then, I might drop my stuff, get distracted and land on my head. oof!!
Crew is doing a good job on Black Friday off getting people out in reasonable times but both in store and at the in store Pizza Hut prices listed were not prices displayed when rung up. Target fixed it, the Pizza Hut employee just said “oh yeah my signs are wrong”. Since when is it acceptable to charge around 25% more for a single item and just not care about your signs being incorrect? I can’t imagine he was the manager but he seemed well aware of the issue. Lazy and irresponsible on managements part.
Rude drive-up employee threw my things in my trunk carelessly and slammed my trunk extremely hard on purpose. Then walked away with an angry face and avoided eye contact. Cowardly, immature, unwarranted behavior that they did not show to the other customers in the drive-up area but obviously felt comfortable doing so to me on account of my race/gender. I showed my code and patiently waited in my car. Did nothing to deserve this behavior. Have gone to this Target before and did not experience this.
I love Target and shop there in whatever city I happen to be. I can almost always find what I need. The store is clean, well organized, and well stocked. The staff is always very friendly and will guide you to whatever area you need for your search that day. Also, very important, the prices are the best! I have shopped at Target for many years. Recently I moved from California to Salt Lake City and my first venture out was to find a Target Store...Hooray, I found one :-)
No one to help out with electronics. Checkout process is not customer friendly, just hurried along to take in more money. Also checking out was quite an unfavorable experience. First my Target card was accepted, then it wasn't, then my alternate payment wasn't accepted, moved to a different register, same results. All of this because the original checker forgot that I was using a coupon in the Target app on my phone although I reminded her 3 times during the process. :(
Just came to buy the Good and Gather purified drinking water, in store it is listed for $2.69 but it rung up as $3.59. We contacted the worker about this just for him to scan it and say it’s $3.59. He didn’t care that the store has it listed for $2.69 and he was rude about it. Either honor what it is listed for in store or change your tags to the actual price. The worker has long hair that is in a bun, he has tattoos and is currently wearing a button up shirt.
I've gone to this location many times and never had a negative thing to say. However, my last trip I went to an open lane to check out. The cashier made eye contact with me but then continued to speak to another cashier about something that wasn't even work related. I waited for near 2 minutes before another lane opened and I moved over to it instead. While this isn't a normal experience when I go there it was one that has stuck with me.
Normally I might rate a business five stars if I like it and it's being attacked but you only removed some of your pride stuff, not all of it. Even one pride item loses my business so you're losing from both sides now. Although honestly I probably wouldn't take you back anyway. Oh well that's what happens when businesses get political. I won't miss you. Honestly I hope all major chains go down and we all just buy local. Bye
The employees were helpful and friendly all except one younger girl who was standing outside of the dressing rooms she was really rude. The other employees were great. The store is very clean they have social distance policies implemented. The prices are a little on the high side but they do have a better selection a merchandising compared to Walmart. The one thing I went looking for was not there which is disappointing.
Had a great experience picking up a desk! Since I’m on work from home for the next month or so, I went in to pick up a desk. Braden, from locating the desk in the back, to ringing me up and bringing it out to my car, was the most helpful and kind employee. I am super grateful for his help, and frequently experience this awesome level of customer service at this Target! Thank you so much for your help!!
Target is lucky to have Andrew as a team member. The last few times I have done a target pick up order he has brought my order out to me. Andrew is friendly and pleasant to chat with. I have noticed that most places/people have given up on customer service over the last few years, but not Andrew; he’s out here working with a smile and making sure customers feel valued. Target: Andrew deserves a raise!
This location is so organized compared to other ones, despite being so busy. Clothes section is usually a nightmare but that's the case at every single Target. I always do drive up pickup, and 90% of the time my order is ready within 2 hours and it's not a long wait. They punched holes in the drive up signs since they kept falling down every time it got windy. Also a nice place to watch the sunset!
It's a Target, like any other, and a bigger one. So you get what you expect. This store seems a bit more run down than others, surprising because it's not that old. Cosmetically it's fine. So maybe it's just the lack of order in the merchandise that gives that impression. Lots of customers on a busy Saturday. Maybe they're trashing the place faster than staff can keep up. Retail is hard these days.
This review it’s not for any employees but it have to be with the Target return policy in “gift card”. My wife bought me a fifa 22 gift card for my Nintendo switch but she didn’t know that I already have it so the answer I got from the employee that there any way that they can change it o give a credit to buy a different game. Next time you have to let people know this “policy” before you sell it.
Who doesn’t love Target? I can usually find what I need at this store or get help if I need it. I knocked off a star because the bathrooms are always disgusting and no amount of complaining in-person has helped. It always stinks, there’s always tp on the floors and some sort of liquid on the toilet seats and surrounding floor. It’s been this way since the store opened. You can do better Target!
Vision center cute glasses for our girls but the last that helped us kept going against my word and trying to tell out youngest it was okay to pick different glasses out. No she wore a helmet when she was smaller and her head is wider at the top by her eyes. Certain frames don't fit. The last was persistent and kept arguing. Loved the product but hated the customer service.
The last 3 or 4 times I've been to this target they haven't had simple items in stock that I needed. (Kids swim diapers and other swim stuff, pepsi, some of their plastic bins.) I've also noticed some disorganization and restocking issues. Customer service was consistently helpful, though. I had to return online purchases and they knew what they were doing more than once.
A dozen workers were gathered and chit chatting on one of the aisles, when i finished my shopping nearly 40 minutes later they were all still there talking so i wasnt surprised when the 15 person line to self checkout was a sht show. I had to encourage the staff to open a lane and even then they only opened one lane and closed it immediately after helping one person.
There are rarely even half as many registers as needed open, so the lines to check out are long even outside peak times. At times only the self check is open, which isn't practical with a full cart. A lot of items are out of stock at any given point and they seem to have general issues managing inventory. It's definitely gone down hill over the last 4 years or so.
The shoe section gives me anxiety. It is horribly disorganized. I can't believe the store manager allows it to get THAT bad. With as many employees as there are walking around, I would expect one of them to be assigned to the shoe section. It should never, ever be that bad. There are so many other stores that are able to keep their shoe section under control.
This Target makes me happy. I legitimately buy a latte and shop on weekends, and it feels like a break from the universe. Use the pickup feature! It tracks when you arrive, so they’re already headed out before you’re parked. It’s kind of creepy, I’ll admit, but when you have an infant in the car, your willingness to live in a George Orwell novel shifts...
Called this store, as recommended by my local store, to check on a single pair of pants they showed in stock before I drove all the way to get them. NO ONE would pick up the phone in Apparel, so Guest Services came on the line twice to say they’d try again and then never came back on ... they just left on hold for 15 minutes. Where’s the management?
Great customer service and little to no wait time to check out. The area right as you walk in the doors with the cheap knick knacks and things was quite messy, but that's to be expected, with everyone rummaging through it constantly. Over all though, I had a great experience! Kudos to Target on 1110 South 300 West Salt Lake City, Utah 84101!
Totally gorgeous women shop there. I walk in... I need a box. A good upstanding young man lets me have one. I am appreciative. "How much do I have to pay for this cardboard box, I will be living in without a job?" I simply asked. Jk LOL. Love Target, great people, great atmosphere. Great management and a growing competition for K-Mart.
This is a pretty good Target. There are a lot of blank spaces on the shelves, and it can get a little messy, but there is a small grocery section, which is nice when you remember something that you need for your fridge or pantry while purchasing something for your home. My one gripe is that the technology section is poorly stocked.
Had to make a stop to pick up medicine for wife’s migraine. Pharmacy seemed stressed. Worst part is that my wife had picked up a package of bandaids and a snack while waiting. The pharmacist would not ring her out for the (2) items. My wife had to go and wait in a ridiculous line for (2) additional items from the pharmacy section.
The employee Darek was incredibly helpful today. I could not find the correct eye drops I need on my own and after looking on the website and finding it out of stock, I all but given up. Darek looked for them with me and we were unsuccessful, but RIGHT when I was walking out he found a box for me! Great service! Love Target!
We have always enjoyed shopping at Target. But, this time, I have never seen a messier store. Don't know if there are not enough employees, or what the problem is. In both areas of the photos we saw two employees putting out more stock but never straightening anything. A real disappointment. The men's area was just as cluttered.
Rachel in the beauty department was wonderful! She was incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I couldn't find the product I came in for, and she definitely went above and beyond in helping me find similar products to suit my needs. I don't think I've ever experienced such great customer service. Thank you, Rachel!
I’m usually not a huge fan of Target, but I went into this one a few times during last weekend as I was helping my daughter get set up in a new apartment nearby. The store was clean and organized. A return went very smoothly and order pickups were quick and efficient. The staff was all friendly and helpful.
Love the clearance section (because sometimes I'm cheap). Customer service desk is fast, no hassle for returns. Nice home furnishings section. Had a selection of furnishings and clothing that is limited edition so you don't always have to look like everyone else that shops at Target. Plenty of parking.
Target, you are classy. With a Starbucks inside and Pizza Hut pizzas, you have everything I need to go shopping. Clean, organized, good quality stuff. Friendly staff. I like it. My son is always asking me to take him to Target to look at toys and games. Which we do. It's a father-son bonding time.
There weren't a lot of employees working when we came by this weekend, which I know can be frustrating for workers- but our cashier, Linda, was so friendly and kind as she helped us out! Great customer service. Such a pleasant experience. She was also quick getting us checked out! Thanks Linda!!
Clean and organized. Employees kind, professional and helpful. Little lack on purchase options, example cookies, I had only about 4 options and nearly all were name brand. Checkout was fast and simple. Store has a cool look.or feel to it. May be the lighting and colors used inside the store.
Really great service from Order Pickup counter. Everyone was safe and friendly. I was able to get help loading a freezer into my vehicle. When they were preparing it, one of the customer service personnel kept me updated on the progress so I did not feel forgotten during the very short wait.
This is a big, well stocked (almost) everything store. You can get your groceries here too. The prices are very competitive. The clothing and home decor items are stylish and contemporary. The only thing they don't stock is fabric and yarn crafts. If they did, it would be my one stop shop.
I love this Target. The staff is kind and helpful and has everything you need at a Target. They still haven't gotten rid of their food area, which is nice because I love getting fresh popcorn there. Unlike most other Targets that get rid of their food stand once they get a Starbucks.
Great store overall. The produce selection is pitiful but otherwise the selection in other departments is great. The checkout staff is nice but sometimes a little slow. Customer service is great. I have not gone to the pharmacy. Overall MUCH better than Walmart down the street.
We purchased a TV from here today and it came defective. We live 2 and 1/2 hours away. Jesse the manager was very rude and unaccommodating when it came to returning the TV. They will not mail a replacement and are forcing us to make a 5 hour round trip drive to replace the TV.
Only 3 registers open and over 30 customers waiting in line to pay. Even self checkout is backed up. Already been waiting more than 10 minutes to pay for a doordash order all because the cashier is ringing up things super slow and keeps talking up a storm with each customer.
The only problem that I have had w this stor is that they have a lot of products on shelf that are expired, like baby formulas or yogurt. Unfortunately, I noticed them after consuming some ... come on target, I should not be checking the expiration on every single item I buy
Target is always a great place to shop. I like this target (for the most part). It's usually pretty clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. It never seems like they have enough staff to help people check out or help with finding an item. Overall, I like shopping here.
I do not feel safe at this Target because of the parking lot. It needs to be patrolled — all but once when I came to this target I have been approached while I’m alone by people trying to sell me stuff while I’m walking in or knocking on my car window asking for money.
This Target is always clean. I can always find what I need, get help when needed, and get through lines quickly. There's almost never a wait in a line. Only downside is there isn't much product and many other Targets have more selection. Overall, great Target to go to.
I have been shopping here for a couple of years and have had no problems untill today! Long story short I will NEVER shop here again! They need to hire people over 13 and maybe train them how to use a register oh and how to properly bag items? Back to Walmart I go
Joseph G in electronics was very helpful last night as he made time for me and my friend who was having issues with her SIM card. Joseph G took point on seeing what the current issue with the SIM card was in addition to helping my friend with purchasing a new one.
The last few times I have been here there have been enormous checkout lines, including the self checkout. Not sure if it is a staffing issue, or something else. Today was the 3rd visit in a row that I have left my cart and not purchased anything due to the wait.
I had a great experience at this Target location recently. Just wanted to give a huge high five to them for having relocated the bike rack location much closer to the front doors. I feel a lot safer when locking my bike up there on my visits now. Thanks Target!
Walked this target store to buy an ipod the gentleman in the back says they're locked up we can't even look at them when i asked if there is a book or any other way to view them he sead no is this normal behavior for target employees or did I get a mail Karen.
They took my feedback good. I told them to install a bouncy house, cotton candy machine, and to rent a pony for my birthday party, and they listened. Unfortunately, they only listened, and I ended up spending my entire birthday week in the frozen food aisle.
Always a good selection of things! Only thing missing is that for whatever reason this location's grocery section isn't as robust as others I've been to. Maybe I'm just crazy but the produce and baked goods "section" just seems smaller than it should be.
Some of the staff are discriminatory, cashier's only ask white shoppers if they need to get checked out, they give you dirty looks almost like don't ask me anything or come close to me, type of look. I shop there a lot because it's the closest to me
I've visited this store on multiple occasions and they have all been pleasant. The guys working here are cool and treat me respectfully. The store is clean and it seems slightly larger than most so there are always plenty of snacks to choose from.
The check-out person took her time with me and didn't make me feel rushed when I had a few questions. Normally I feel like they don't have time to answer questions about their app or about an on-line price. The check-out person was very helpful!
Stopped by Target to buy some headphones and in must say this store sure is clean and orderly. The layout is a bit confusing at times however the staff and managers are considerate and effective so my buying experience has been positive overall.
Your cashier at self-check out, you know, the one with purple hair and purple framed glasses? She has the worst body odor ever. Made my eyes water. Target is known for great bath products. Teach your employee to use them. She stinks, literally.
Cutest home decor section, I am obsessed with the Hearth & Hand items. This location is a little difficult to get to with all of the construction going on in the area, but they have a great stock of clothes & decor, so it’s worth the wait!
I asked information to 3 people , only one person (girl with blue hair ) gave me an excellent service at 08:20am ! Other people were not awake yet ! Self checkout closed, can’t see why! Although Starbucks girls were awesome !!! ☕️ …
If this place can't or won't hire enough cashiers then they need to install more self checkout stations. There's always only 1 or 2 cashiers working at any given time. And customers shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes just to checkout.
I used to go to this target cuz it was close to where I used to live but the only thing I bought here was the Baskin Robbins rainbow sorbet or red bull or even other food items but staff was always helpful when I needed it
Everytime I order something for pickup it says its in stocks but then after about an hour wait they email me saying they didn't have it in stock and then when I call they never pick up and it's honestly very upsetting
What was with the restrooms?! Absolutely disgusting. Toilet paper on the floor everywhere. Puddles and mud on the floor and one of the toilets had show footprints on it. Does anyone even check these during the day?
Always friendly staff, phone charger, Starbucks, it's a Mom paradise. Target corporate has made inclusivity and diversity a priority in their stores. I would much rather spend at Target than anywhere else.
Clean, well stocked, and staffed by helpful people who knew the locations of the items I needed and were able to tell me other items were out of stock before I wasted time going across the store.
This is a decent store in a good location, although cleanliness is not their priority. The bathrooms are always disgusting. Organization is not a priority either, especially in the Toy section.
Great to have this location in the city - thanks Target for always providing such beautiful merchandise at approachable prices. There is always something more that I would like to take home.
This store is never messy and the employees do their jobs to the best of their capability. For being down town, it’s still a very nice location and it’s one of my favorite targets to go to
The employee that goes by Aneisa was the best ever I loved her enthusiasm she was literally the best worker ever 10/10 I loved everything about her such a big help and I’m glad I found her
Fast and easy. I highly recommend drive up/pick up service if you have dogs, kids or elderly with you and you can't or don't want to leave your car. Staff was extremely friendly as well.
I love Target. Great staff, no-hassle returns, so I never stress about making a purchase. I also much enjoy & appreciate how clean & organized Target stores are compared to others.
