"Great, stylish bistro"
"Friendly service, we ate in and they brought the lunch quickly"
"I love the spot for coffee and pastries (breakfast sandwich was amazing, too) but the service, by the women specifically, is awful! They are so rude and unwelcoming"
"Food for the price is not great"
(7.30am) I love Tatte. So glad that there’s a new one just north of U and 14th. This a beautiful space - and you can expect the same, quality food as you get at the other Tattes: yummy breakfasts, delicious coffee, delectable pastries (one of my favorites is the caramel Kouign-amann). This will become my new local haunt.
Great, stylish bistro. I can't get enough of the egg biscuit sandwich. Great coffee drinks. The pastries are excellent. The croissants are wicked good. All the staff are friendly and prompt. The barista can struggle to keep up with dine-in, walk-in, online orders during peak times. But overall a well run location. More
Friendly service, we ate in and they brought the lunch quickly. I got the lamb meatball pita and they didn’t skimp on the meat and the pita tastes really fresh. Mom had an avocado egg croissant which was pretty messy but worth it. The place was pretty clean and a quiet place to work or chat over coffee.
I love the spot for coffee and pastries (breakfast sandwich was amazing, too) but the service, by the women specifically, is awful! They are so rude and unwelcoming. The men who worked there were lovely, but the behavior from the female employees definitely deters me from wanting to go back. More
Food for the price is not great. I ordered a lamb plate for $14 and got 3 tiny pieces of lamb, a bunch of pita, and hummus. The food is not great value. Probably the best thing on the menu is the shakshuka, but this is also mostly tomato sauce and bread. More
Very cute coffee shop with yummy food and great service. Sydney helped me this morning and really made my day with her infectious kind energy. Instructions in the bathroom a little confusing (see photo). If not in the toilet, where does the poo go?
I normally don’t inhale my food, but the flatbread I got was so amazing I couldn’t help myself. (I got the mushroom, caramelized onion, and potato; my fiancé got the caprese flatbread.) Café was busy but still relatively quiet and service was quick More
Tatte used to be good but it’s quality has steeply declined in the past year. The pastries are dry and taste very average. The hot coffee is always served lukewarm and is basically tasteless. There’s plenty of other good cafe options in the area. More
Do not recommend ordering from here on Caviar. I received the wrong item (cookie instead of a ham and cheese croissant) and Caviar will not reimburse you for the redelivery, just for the item you purchased. If you want the food you actually
First, I hit print receipt at the register but the cashier just tossed all receipts in the trash. Then I couldn’t find an empty table that was clean so I sat down with my number and coffee at a dirty one. Nobody came to clean it. I went to
This was my first time at this cafe. It was very impressive and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was a bit overwhelmed and out of nowhere a tall gentleman named Yanik asked if he could assist. He helped my friend and I navigate the menu and
I have ordered takeout twice. The food itself was tasty and ready on time. Based on that alone, they deserve 5 stars. However, I took off two stars because BOTH orders contained mistakes. One included an ingredient I specifically requested
Great food and service but they overuse the AC so much that you are freezing even if you're wearing a sweater (while outside is 90+ Fahrenheit). It was so cold that we decided to sit outside despite the mosquitos and heat. Businesses need
Everything we tried here was delicious. I got the heirloom tomato tartine, which was a great balance of freshness from the tomato's, seasonings and herbiness from the basil pesto, texture and complimentary flavors from the cheese all on a
The Tate Bakery in Washington, D.C. is a true gem deserving of a perfect five-star rating! From the moment you step inside, the delightful aroma of freshly baked goods envelops you. The selection of pastries, bread, and cakes is nothing
I have spent $558.39 at this location since 06/23/2023 (1 month and 10 days). Today, the staff at this location told me to go to another Tatte location and to not come back because they did not get my take out order right and couldn't
Beautiful location, food is great, not sure about the coffee because after waiting 25 minutes for a coffee, I had to leave because I had to be somewhere. Didn’t realize it was going to take a half hour for an iced vanilla latte.
Amazing!!!!! Absolutely a must on your next trip to DC! Service was amazing and all the pastries and food are delicious. I got the house latte and the smoked salmon and avocado breakfast sandwich. Everything was perfect! More
One of my favorite spots to read and work while enjoying a latte and a snack! Ham and cheese croissant was delicious, as was my vanilla latte. Staff is super nice and the cafe is always bright and clean. More
Waited 45 minutes for my to go order. And the manager is just sitting at a table not being helpful. Never coming back. Do not recommend unless your willing to spend your entire lunch break waiting. More
Staff are nice but gosh it really takes quite a while to get your coffee here. Really perplexed why it would take so freaking long for a latte. Nearly 20 minutes.. it wasn’t out the door busy either.
Overpriced pastries and hot chocolate. Don’t recommend if you just want to grab something sweet to go. Pasties are stale even when heated and not much taste. Coca feels watered down.
Great food, staff and atmosphere! Had a salmon sandwich that was phenomenal. The honey coffee was alright but not wow, More
They have healthy options on the menu. Fridays, Saturday and Sunday, they have brunch a day long. Food was amazing More
I’m a coffeeholic and I can tell they have really great coffee! Everything I tried was delicious.

The snacks are immaculate, the drinks are delicious and we’re so happy to have a Tatte on 14th now!
