I called this guy asking him to email me a copy of his accounting receipt as I lost my copy last year, he told me he does not give it to me because I’m no longer his client. He was basically trying to make deal with me that if this year I let him process my tax return again, then he would give me the receipt for last year. No way I go with him, he is an unprofessional accountant who has zero knowledge and rushing the tax return process to full so he can maximize his profit and time.

I have been assisted by Majid from Tax Basics for several years and have found his business and service superior to any other tax agent / accountant that I have seen in over 40 years of business. Additionally he has supported me with additional investing and uplifting advice that has helped steer me in the correct direction towards success. Awesome service and advice! I came in to get my tax return done and although the outcome was not what I was expecting (Out of their control - it was a mistake from previous employer), the Accountant was very informative and provided advice to ensure it doesn't happen again next time. I've been to other Accountants and things weren't explained properly but Tax Basics went through the nitty gritty thoroughly. Happy with their service :)

Terrible experience. So rude and unprofessional. He was rushing to finish the session (took less than 10 mins) and didn't even claim basic expenses everyone know. Total waste of money and we had to do it again. If you want to do your tax with an accountant defiantly find someone knows his job and takes responsibility of what he does.

Drive more than a 100 km to get my tax done at Tax Basics, supported them for 12 years or so and not disappointed yet. The agent is there to deliver a professional service and not to be your nanny.

Majid is a very nice guy. While doing the tax, which is the main business, he also answers questions (financial and regulatory ones) without charging extra.

Great service, really quick processing times for me. They do get very busy so it would be wise to make an appointment and do expect to wait.
