The root of all evil. I pity the hundreds of thousands of commuters having to utilize these services every day. I was fortunate to grow up in the Boomer era. If you needed to go somewhere you used the Golden Arrow bus services and train network. In general these services were cheap , on time , fairly clean and safe. Unfortunately things have gone belly up and these services have become extinct.

I think the municipality must allocate informal trading bays that are clean because that rank has turned out to be very chaotic, especially those who sell chicken gizzard kebabs. I personally think they must not allow traders to have fires for braai because that rank has a history of gun violence, leading to a stampede of commuters fleeing the rank for safety.

Whn u get out of a taxi that goes to the rank, u r soma dropped off at the side of the road, no space to walk properly nd u cn gt easily knocked over by an oncoming taxi or car or whatever.Nd the loud music in the taxi, s..johh u cnt even think properly..bt wht cn we do, if we want to b at a certain place nd thts all transport u cn afford.

This is a taxi rank in Bellville. You get any taxi to where you desire. The drivers are merciful and nice to ask questions or direct you to the right taxi. I rated it 4 because you always get a taxi but sometimes they can be too full and you may even stand and pay full price

My daughter took a taxi on Symphony Road, Belhar, on Monday to Bellville station. The car guard asked for change for R200. She gave him 2 x R100 notes. When going to Clicks they told her the R200 note is fake.!!!! ARE THERE MAYBE MORE in circulation.?!!! .....SCARY!

Very busy rank, smells awful, and is always dirty. How people can sell and buy stuff there amazes me. Everyone must be extra careful at that rank. Very dangerous at times

It's a lively area. It's organized chaos I call it. You can find anything. Food,drink,clothing,etc. And there are many different stalls,vendors and selling good stuff.

It's so busy and disorganized, but the drivers do help when you are looking for a specific taxi and make sure they don't leave without you.
