NEVER EVER USE OR EVEN PLAN TO ENGAGE IN THE SERVICES THEY OFFERED!!!!! I purchase a car battery to them and it became faulty, so I rang them but they were close and went straight to voicemail. Leave them a message and a number but no one come back to me. But owner shop said they have followed us up but I never have any phone call or even a voicemail from them. Keep saying "I have a checklist there to whom I follow up" but where did that call went through mate? Because I should receive a phone call or voicemail at least from you, right? That's what should happen if what you're saying is true. Anyway, ended up having to purchase another battery from another company and have to ask refund from them. Then, you told my husband when he asks for refund to google the company name of the battery when we needed the battery because their shop were close. How on earth will he know that? YOU WERE THE ONE WE PURCHASE THE BATTERY ON. You have the responsibility to explain to us what might happen in case something went wrong with your product, right? You're saying for 3 years, this never happen but then really you could vouch that any product of yours is faultless No one in this world can't claim that there product is faultless so how could you Are you some kind of psychic to know that nothing will happen to what you are selling??? You didn't even expect you're going to close your shop from this health crisis so how come you can expect your products are faultless. Then, he told me "I can't give a refund because it's SAID ONLY WARRANTY, WHICH MEANS I ONLY HAVE TO REPLACE OR REPAIR IT." For the record, let's define warranty. I googled the meaning of warranty and google said "it is a written guarantee, issued to the purchaser of an article by its manufacturer, promising repair or replace". Well, he was right BUT how come in the battery's warranty statement, it says, "consumer is entitled to a REPAIR OR REFUND for major failure of the product" so, I googled again the correlation of refund to warranty and google showed me "for a major problem with services, you can cancel the contract and obtain a refund" according to Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. So there you go mate, warranty is NOT limited to repair and replace only as you have been telling me. You even told me, "Good luck in getting a refund because warranty is only for repair and replacement." Thanks anyway for being so discriminatory, telling me "Oh, I can't explain warranty in English all the time." like telling me I don't know English at all. Also, if you can't get your bookkeeper to do receptionist job properly, don't let her answer the phone. If you still doing that, then I think she should have a full course of customer service because it is very disturbing to be told "oh, my manager is busy at the moment, can you come here if you want to talk to him". Seriously??? How about if I live so faraway? Do you expect me to travel just to talk to him??? Really?? I can't tell you how to run your business but as a consumer, we expect at least little respect or acknowledgement. Explain or tell me nicely that he is busy and can't talk to me at the moment and will be calling you back or do you want to leave a message is respect enough. Telling me to come down there should be the last resort. Anyway, OVERALL this shop is very disorganize and unprofessional. Just a simple battery complaint and I can't get any refund, WHICH BY THE WAY MATE IS MY RIGHT ACCORDING TO AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW.
I was disappointed with this place which is a shame because I'd really like to find a mechanic I can trust and my first impression of this place was a very good one. They keep a very clean workshop and they seem to be quite organised. The key man comes across as your new best friend but my thoughts now after having a Roadworthy done there is that this business will try to get as much money out of you as they can. In fairness to this business they said the windscreen had to be changed which I argued and they passed it even though they were absolutely right, it does need replacing but they did make me change parts that were fine and have since been used on another car without any problem at all. I also sensed hostility from the receptionist so even if my transaction with them had been a positive one I wouldn't go there again because she made me feel quite uncomfortable. Actually it's quite funny, reading through the other reviews on this business I see that there are two positive reviews, one is from Mark Parsons, the owner of the business and the other is from Cate Parsons who may be his wife, sister, daughter....... Nonetheless I wish these guys well, and please note, I have no comment about the quality of their work as I didn't actually have them do any work on my car, I only had them perform a Roadworthy check.
I go in for a roadworthy on my car, they have tried to charge me for items that do not need to be fixed to pass a roadworthy. They broke my keys and wouldn't even apologise for it. They changed my wiper blades without any notice or consent claiming they looked old, even though I had changed them three days before. They then refused a refund on this, again wouldn't apologise for breaking my keys and then just glueing it back together (means I csnt change the battery) and trying to charge me for items I do not need for what I have asked them to do and then throwing out the original wipers, i was verbally abused by the owner for trying to sort out a refund for the wipers or a replacement for the keys that broke under their care. This place is absolutely garbage I cannot recommend you stay away from these scumbags enough.
At first glance, it looks like an honest garage. We made the mistake of buying a van in their garage (garage that isn’t even allowed to sell). We were lied to, saying that there was no problem, a purchase with a RWC, while full of problems appeared to us from the first day such as a faulty water pump, leaking coolant hidden by a simple seal, and many other things ... they refused to take back the vehicle ... a vehicle that was sold at an exorbitant price given the extent of the work! Be careful, they are real scammers! They spoiled our trip in Australia!
Very disappointed when I took my car for roadworthy inspection. I was told the windscreen needed replacement, which could have been true, but apparently, they expected to have it done themselves. Mark, the owner, made a lot of nasty remarks when i had it done by someone else way cheaper than his quoted price. He also said I owed him a favor because he could easily pick other items that he could have deemed as "unroadworthy' and claimed he doesn't make money at all merely from RWC inspections. Won't be going back to this place again.
Could not recommend Tech Fit Automotive more highly!! I took my car here for the first time, staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Mark is a very genuine bloke, he took the time to explain and show me what was wrong with the vehicle. He also fixed an ongoing issue I had in which Ultratune could not get right after 3 attempts. I will definitely be returning!
Woke up in the morning to an extremely flat tyre....on the rim flat tyre.I managed to drive the car to the nearest place,Tech Fit. I never been there before. They saw me drive up and without a word the guys hurried to the car and got to work on the tyre. I was amazed how helpful they were. Back on the road in 15min. Definitely will be back for any car problems.
Rip off . They do extra stuff without asking and demand payment for it when you pick up the car. Example : change lights even though they work. Normal 5k service will end up to $400+! Also they didn’t top up the engine oil. The engine heated up within a week. The lady at reception is always arguing. :(
STAY AWAY... l'm not one to complain at all but when you know someone has been ripped off, the public need to know. $508 to do a standard service on a 4 cylinder Barina is just not acceptable. That's right STANDARD service as there was absolutely nothing wrong with the car.
I just walked in without an appointment today with a headlight out and it was fixed on the spot in minutes. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. I went there as they had been recommended to me by a friend, and I will also recommend them to others. Thanks guys!
Can't speak highly enough of Techfit automotive,service above and beyond most other mechanics that I've dealt with.Nothing is too big or too small and it's the little "attention to detail" things that will keep me coming back! 5 stars and keep up the fantastic work
Took my car to ultra tune mill park,was 2 day process of lies and job still not done,so i picked up my car and took it to techfit,car was completed in 3 hrs ,hassle free ,very professional and fair price thanks techfit for making me have faith again
Everything was fine and quick with good communication but I just don’t like how you put a big green sticker on my back windscreen with advertising to your shop without my permission.. lady at front desk was pleasant though! :)
Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Markmis exceptional and thorough. Both hubby and i had issues with our cars that no-one could work out what problem was, but he perservered and both cars are running well
Not going back in this place,they charged me for wiper rear and front and after a week there was a squeaky noise from the wiper so i took it in super cheap found out that the wiper is not replaced. Dodgy people
if you want to be robbed for RWC , go to this place, charge you upfront 165$ and later will give you a list of ridiculous items that you need to fix to get your RWC , do not try them even for once
If anyone wants peace of mind with their car,Tech Fit is the only place that I know that will help you with your car problem . May I also add is that the people there are very friendly and helpful
Great service, reasonable pricing, honest mechanic...took me through everything and took the time to explain things, didn't perform unnecessary tasks and tried to keep the cost as low as possible.
Absolutely rip off I needed a roadworthy cert done and they tried to charge me $400+ for something my partner ended up fixing for $35... just because I’m a girl... …
Went in needing a RWC. Booked me in first thing next day, had the required work done to top standard and picked the car up that afternoon. Excellent service all round.
Fantastic people at tec fit Had some work done on my car they where upfront and honest with everything and quick with helping me out. Whould use them again any time
