BEST Museum I've been to in way too long!! The Volunteers are wonderful with so much knowledge and history to share!!! I cant believe how cheap it is too!!!! It is all Volunteers running the spot so the hours can be flex but no biggie, TOTALLY worth calling ahead to make sure they're open. Parking can be tough since its downdown and seems to always be movie crews around these days lol, so just keep in mind-STILL WORTH IT!!! This place reminds me quite a bit of the Spy Museum in D.C. so I cant get enough!! This is def a MUST DO place whether you're local, traveling, love tech & history like I do or just wanna check out something cool!!

This place is heaven on Earth! so sweet and innocent. For only $2 I can look at all the phones from the beginning of time. The first time I came here I fell in love with the atmosphere and the sweet volunteers who have so much knowledge on phones. The second time I came with my mom and she loved it too! we bought some things at the gift shop and I will come back again. Everyone needs to go to this museum and see why it's so cute and perfect!

Best telephone museum I've ever seen, and I've been to several. Very reasonable admission fee for four floors of exhibits. I've never seen so many old telephones in one place. Lots of interesting equipment, too. The dioramas were kind of hokey.

Telephony and New Mexico history share the same place in time. This walk through technology and state history was fascinating and the only thing they can do to improve this is to have it open more often. A much better museum than you would think for the location. And more material and items to see than you would imagine. GO THERE.

Had a informative tour from one of the volunteers. Seeing the medallion from the lobby of the AT&T building in New York was quite a treat. There are probably not too many other locations with a working teletype.

A fine experience. My mother was a pioneer and then old-fashioned switchboard operator. One day automated she went over to Bell Labs Whippany later lucent technologies. They never offered for us to go to France.

A really cool hidden gem! Cheap ticket prices, knowledgeable and friendly tour guides, and amazing historical relics. You could spend 30 minutes here or 2 hours. Stop by and learn something new!

  • Matthew Nedell

Wow. Absolutely incredible museum. If you are a phone geek like me or a former Bell Head, you have to go here. Tom gave us a tour. Allocate at least two hours for this wonderful experience.

Good place to visit but it was closed Sunday. They should open it Sundays for visitors. Parking available in the city Sundays also not much to see in the city. Why closed Sundays?

  • Leslie Driskill

What a hidden gem- we learned how to be a switchboard operator, tested our fake coin detection skills, and got to see phones from the earliest models to present.

  • Jason Hepner

A very nice and personal tour given by people who are very passionate about what they do. Great way to spend a couple hours and it’s only two bucks!
