What a gem of a place! The campsite was lovely and private, with a comfy bed and the cleanest port-a-potty we’ve ever seen. They have even installed a propane fire in the normal fire pit since there’s a burn ban in Washington at the end of summer. That and the string lights they added to the site make it magical. The camp host, Shari, is really nice and easygoing. She brought us more water when we ran low and extra blankets when we said we had been cold the first night. You arrive by driving through the farm so are greeted by several excited working dogs and dozens of silly alpaca faces as you drive by. Shari and the family offer tours twice daily on weekends and it’s a can’t-miss opportunity to learn about and interact with the alpacas and dogs — we loved it! Our daughter wants to live there now. We enjoyed chatting with Shari and her husband, as well as her mother, who works in the shop selling the beautiful alpaca wool hats, scarves, blankets, and other items. (We spent too much because there were so many great items, but things were actually very reasonably priced for alpaca goods.) The location is “next door” to Remlinger Farms (which is a kids’ paradise, if you’re not familiar) and a quick 5 minute drive to a trailhead to explore the Tolt river basin and wetlands. There are restaurants, gas stations, and a market very nearby, so you’re not out in the middle of nowhere, even if it feels like it. No need to worry about gas or forgotten food items. The worst noise we experienced came from motorcycles on the main road in the distance once or twice, and it was not too bad. Otherwise, the guard dogs barking at “intruders” and the rooster crowing in the morning were the only sounds, but the Tentrr site is buffeted enough by distance and trees that it wasn’t a nuisance. Surprisingly, there were no farm smells! Bring your own pillows, extra warm layers, bug spray, farm-friendly shoes, and your usual camping gear. It’s still camping, but way more comfortable, super private, and with the bonus of getting an up-close learning experience at an alpaca farm. This was our first Tentrr experience and it was a complete success. We will visit again, because it was a great experience for us and we loved realizing how our stay was helping to support a working farm.

I stayed at Sleeper State Park, Huron Beachside K. The views and tent were spectacular! I went midweek, middle of August 2023. The set up was fantastic. Easy to access from parking lot. The easy path straight from tent to beach was a dream! I loved it and want to go back! Downsides: -No public bathroom besides port-a-potty. There’s a beach bathroom but it was always closed. So no sinks to brush teeth and wash hands. So prepare for that accordingly. -Lots of poison Ivy around. It’s avoidable if you’re very aware and careful. -The tent needs a repair on the strings to tie up on one of the sides. It’s possible to tie up, but difficult. I hope they fix that. Other than those issues, it was a lovely time and perfect location. I was even there through heavy rain and high winds, and while the rain didn’t bother me at all, the wind was nerve racking, but the tent held up! The bug screen is a lifesaver (LOTS of bugs, including biting flies! Be prepared!) Almost a 5 star review. If the downsides were fixed, it would be my #1 camping spot. I love the Tentrr experience and I hope they expand with many more locations in Michigan!

Camping at Tishomingo State Park Mississippi. This is the best way to go primitive camping! All the work is already done for you: tent is up, bed installed, toilet ready, fire pit with ways to grill on it, a couple of chairs, benches and tables. The only thing that we would complain about is how hot the tent gets. Because of the canvas material and limited windows for ventilation, it got very humid and hot. They have a nice heater option and could have the same for a small AC unit. That would have been ideal! The campground and trails themselves are very nice and well-maintained. We wish local information along with campground brochures/maps would have been printed and inside the tent. Sometimes we didn’t have the best service to look back through emails and we had to wait until the park office opened to get information before we started hiking trails. We will camp again once it gets cooler weather!

We had an amazing weekend staying here. Everything we could have possibly needed was already there for us including a grill rack on the firepit, a hammock, firewood, chairs, grilling utensils, garbage bags, water cooler, shower bag, bedding, etc. We stayed there to hike Bankhead National Forest and it was a short 45 minute drive. The creek at the campsite was perfect for our dogs to play in. It's a very quiet area that was perfect for campers/hikers. Rip, the owner's dog, was SO FRIENDLY and we enjoyed his visit along with the super friendly barn cat. Really the only thing you need to pack is a cooler with food/drinks. Since we were hiking, we chose not to do the canoe trip, but we wish we had. It sounded really fun and the river/scenery is beautiful.

I had a great time staying at the Tentrr site in Benezette. The platform tent was as described and the site was perfect. More conveient than camping in your own tent. All I had to do was unzip the flaps snd make my bed. It rained quite a bit and everything was perfectly dry. The platform with small deck was great. Adirondack chairs were handy by the fire pit and picnic table rounded out the site. Clean porta-jons, didn't need the portable toilet in the tent and didn't need the propane tent heaters. A friend pitched his tent on the grass site, so we didn't use the provided tent. I'll be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Tideside. We especially enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs at sunset. Asprey, Bald Eagles, Great Blue Heron and more. Very large and private site. The site and tent are well maintained and clean. We had one night of rain and stayed dry in the tent. The surrounding area was great. The Lobster Festival in Rockland was fun. We climbed Mount Battie in Camden. Highly recommend and hope to return some day.

Absolutely breathtaking. So peaceful and serene. Serenity Ridge is the perfect name for this site. We will be back to try all of Susan's sites, but this i think will be our favorite.

We stayed in a Tentr tent in Tickfaw La . Everything was wonderful. Tent was huge, clean and reservations were a breeze at Tentr site. I stayed at Percy Quinn also in a Tentr tent. Would highly recommend it. Just need to bring yourself. They have picnic table, tent fire pit, BbQ grill and plenty of peace and tranquility. Loved loved loved!!

  • Britney Molleur

I absolutely loved our Tentrr getaway. The area was beautiful and the tent was super cute. They even included a propane heater if we got cold. You truly have pretty much everything you need to unplug right there. Highly recommend.
Dog-friendliness
My dogs had a vacation of their own. They were wiped out for 2 days after.

What a great place to stay. The sites are stunning of Michigan’s Lake Huron. The Tentrr tent has a nice queen size bed, a grill/fire pit, picnic table with 2 king bench seats as well as 2 comfy chairs on the front deck. A small walk down a hill to the beach!!! I loved it!!! Great time has by all !! I will definitely go again!!

  • Carly Festervan

Tentrr has a lot of great options when looking to camp. Booking was easy, and finding the site was, too. There are hike in and drive in sites, and most are private to you/your group. We had a blast in North Conway, and prefer Tentrr to a campground absolutely any day! We are excited to find and adventure to another spot soon.

  • Almas Dossa

We had a wonderful and peaceful weekend. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. The stream at our campsite with it's little cascading waterfalls was very pretty and the trail along the river was beautiful. Would definitely recommend. The road leading to the campsite was rough and rocky but our prius made it through OK.

We LOVED our first Tentrr experience at Wolf Camp in Bovina, NY last weekend. The tent and camp set up was awesome, the surroundings were beautiful - it made a first camping trip with our 3 young kids and dog totally manageable and fun! Cannot recommend highly enough - we're already looking at the next Tentrr site to try.

  • Sole Pino

My boyfriend and I are avid campers. We wanted to try out Tentrr to avoid having to deal with the hassle of setting up the tent. TOTALLY WORTHIT!!! The place was exactly like the fotos. There was a LOT of shade and we had the whole place to ourselves! We will definitely return and try out the other locations

Love Tentrr! So glad I found them. Such an amazing way to be outside but also elevated with their clamping set ups. Can't wait to stay in them across the country! Thanks so much Tentrr! And love that I can bring my pup :)

This is a really wonderful site and a great way to embrace your inner outdoor enthusiast while still having the comfort of a warm bed! Communication from the site owners was awesome and the understanding cancellation policy is beyond great. We had a lovely time and will definitely be using the site again.

Fun place to camp. Bring a wagon to haul in your stuff you park a VERY long way from your tent. There is a water cooler provided to fill but you have to drive to get to the water. Note: The portable privacy pod is NOT a shower but there is a bladder to fill up you can hang off your deck for a quick wash.

  • Olivia Miller

We enjoyed our glamping experience! It was cleaner than expected. Quiet and private, too. We had access to well-maintained bathrooms as well as a private toilet at the campsite. The hosts were very good with responding to our communication quickly. It was a great place to stay!

  • Del Cummings

If you want peace and quiet in a remote farm setting with 10 min access to some of the best beaches on the Oregon coast, then you must stay here! Amazing hosts and all the amenities you need to camp comfortably. We honestly sleep better here than in our own bed back home.

  • Emily Rose Sherman

We had a great camping trip! Customer support was also very helpful and quick to respond when our tent code wasn’t initially working. Site was well-maintained and it was a wonderful way to escape for a few days. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return! :)

  • Edwin Miles

Terrific camping experience with my pregnant wife, who is a non camper. The site attendant went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, even bringing three portable heaters, as the first two did not work. I would definitely use Tentrr again.

  • john jurczyk

Another epic trip to Hartwick. Taylor helped us out with our heavier items up to the campsite...without any issues. We will be returning to this specific campsite for years to come!! Thank you for making our trip a success! John, Troy and Lucas

  • Caitlyn Ruiz

We had a great time and our host was so kind! Even during the 17 mph winds overnight on the beach that caused other campers to pack up and spend the night in their cars, our Tentrr tend held up great and we felt safe and comfortable all night.

  • Kerry Kirk

Our first Tentrr experience, and we're thrilled. We love camping, but not noisy campgrounds. Backpacking is difficult for us with two small kids, but having a private space where you can still take a car? Yes! So glad we discovered this!!!

  • karrie cook

I can’t believe how big the tents were! The queen size bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the morning watching the deer. Loved having access to showers and restrooms at the beautiful

The site was breathtakingly beautiful with many wild animals, turkeys, deer and many others I could hear in the night, if not see directly. I can imagine that my dog would have loved coming here if I’d been able to bring her.
