"I find the staff ok when I'm going up to the counter; because I'm not as mobile or able to carry much I do ask them to put my shopping back in the basket which they do and I go near where I can sort my shopping out into the bags I have: so I can carry them comfortable, with bout been boutnif breat because I've breathing broblems and have to sit down when I feel my breathings going funny,I've no complaints about the staff ,,maybe people who wrote a bad comment b complaints on the staff probably have a grudge agents them or did something wrong in the shop to write what they wrote about them,,the staff bwhinwork there are young and well mannered ,10/10 to the staff in Tesco's in Pearse Street,☯️☮️"
"Is it really that hard for the staff at the til to help customers put their groceries in bags? I swear the woman today did everything she could to avoid helping me bag my items"
"It has all the item you need"
"I was staying at a hotel nearby and spotted this shop when walking down to the Pearse Station nearby"
This is a good store and they have all required food. They also have a small section for essential medicines. Their vegetables and fruits are fresh and have a decent pricing. A good store to get all required food items for immediately. They also have good verity of teas. Their pukka - lemon, ginger and honey tea sachets are great and very helpful during cold. They have nice selection of sandwiches, breads and juices. They also have a huge selection of dairy products. Their frozen pizza is very nice and affordable. There are many self checkout counters at this store which makes billing and checkout easy and quick. Many items at store can be purchased at lower price if one has tesco club card. One can get tesco club card by applying from tesco website. Overall a good store having all essentials food items

Is it really that hard for the staff at the til to help customers put their groceries in bags? I swear the woman today did everything she could to avoid helping me bag my items. I put two open (empty) reusable bags on the counter, which took up the entire space, so she could just scan and drop the stuff in them. Instead, she scanned and shoved the groceries in between my bags so I had to pick them up and put them in as soon as she set them down. This left me holding up the line for the next customer since I was rushing to put everything in bags to free up the space after I paid. This could have all been solved with a little help... which is key to good customer service. This lady had none.
It has all the item you need. Staff could use some customer service training and at least acknowledge any blinking lights at the self help cash register. Couldn’t say excuse me enough to finally be acknowledged. I felt more like a burden. I was at another store days before where they were most helpful but they are 15 minutes walk away from where I stay. So I opted for this one to grab some items, a five minute walk. After my experience at this store, I will walk the 15 minutes.
I was staying at a hotel nearby and spotted this shop when walking down to the Pearse Station nearby. It's a small shop but stuffed full of many daily essentials. It's open late until about 10pm. As a tourist I found this shop very useful. You can buy things like bottled water, fruits, sandwiches, pasta, snacks etc without having to pay tourist- prices at the hotel. There's always a security guard at the entrance. Quite possible shoplifting is a big problem.
I was just in the shop. The member of staff at the self-service till was really rude. My till kept showing errors and saying "help is coming" but this guy didn't help, he just shouted what I had to do from where he was standing. I didn't understand him so he kept shouting at me with an angry face as if I was an inconvenient. When I left, he stared at me with an angry face and didn't return my goodbye.
bought a chicken pesto salad opened it and fortunately didnt eat much. chicken was visibly rotten. brought it back within five minutes an apology would have been nice but instead major interrogation about the receipt then refund grudgingly offered which i told him to keep lack of responses to reviews good and bad says it all---theres no one steering the ship
Store closed today before closing time, because "there was no security". Funny enough, there were people still shopping inside, but the doors have been closed right in front of my face by a blonde woman. Thanks for suggesting I might steal something, excellent customer service, Tesco!
Despite being convenient I will be avoiding this place from here on out. It's crazy that they refused to sell me alcohol at the age of 28 (I didn't have my wallet on me, and they wouldn't accept a photo of it). I haven't been ID'd for 5 years now... a bunch of karens...
Worst tesco in dublin regarding their product range. Never any fresh herbs, no soy yogurts, terrible tomatoes and so on. Always too busy, dirty. Real shame for people living in the area as its the only supermarket around there. Wish they could expand.
Self serve checkouts are a pain in the arse, the floor is full of trolling and the staff could care less! Go to the Central on Westland row, friendly staff, fresh food and damn good coffee. No trolling blocking access to shelves.
Not the most varied of products in this Tesco store. But can find all your basics, and a lot of the cheap snacking products. Service isn't really there...this is a find your own stuff and check out quickly kind of food shop.
Convenient small Tesco. Prices are quite good for city centre, especially against competitors in the area like Centra or Spar. Sufficient range that will keep you going for most things breakfast/lunch/dinner.
Always chaotic with fridges left open and stock boxes in aisles. Staff are patient with the range of customers that come in. Don’t see why there isn’t a large Tesco in this area.
Staff are so rude, a.nd I'm a.local residents come here sine it open Ome or two are OK They need a course on manners and need to help coustmers more nicer, especially us locals.
I am stuck in Dublin at Saint Patrick Day and at Tesco I got very bad and humiliating service when I paid. Tesco, if your workers do not want to work do not force them!
Good medium/large sized shop. Good selection of groceries. Lunch food. Fruit. 2 tills + 4 self serve checkouts. Busy especially at lunchtime but always fast service.
The €3.50 meal deal here is what I have been living off the last year! Great little shop don't know what I would do with out them. Security guard is a gent aswell
Good service but limited choice of products as expected from an express supermarket. Much better shop and lots cheaper than fresh supermarket
Great Tesco. Always full of people but they have a good choice of groceries. Good deals during evening time and open till late.
Doesn't have great options for produce and a few other less frequently bought things. Good value for most purchases though.
Always a rack in your way, can't move freely. This place is a constant mess - poor selection on fruits and premium price. -
It's an OK shop but not a great selection. A lot of the cheaper products etc are not on display. The staff are very nice.
Handy for shopping in the area. Better than Ringsend Tesco. Needs more fresh vegetable stocked as it sometimes runs out.
Uma ótima opção para compras rápidas e variadas. Preço acessível e algumas coisas são bem mais em conta. Leve sua ecobag
It closes 15 minutes before 10, it’s a joke. At least today 15 of october. If it says 10 it should close at 10
Well the staff have time for you. To answer questions that you may have to select what produce you may require
Good product quality and central location combined with average prices. Good choice for grocery shopping
Just handy , but they do not have a good selection and later on in the night fresh fruit is sold out
Busy store, but there is always someone to help and the lines pass through the checkout quickly.
Limited selection with not many value options. Staff are friendly and attentive though.
Everything you need for a quick grocery stop. Fresh vegetables and quick checkout
Don't know why they advertise it as closing at 10pm when it's closed at 9.50pm.
Very handy. Just beside Pearse Street dart station. Generally well stocked too.
very nice place to buy general items but not big as jervis or baggot street
Decent convenience store on Pearse street. Decent salad bar for lunches
Small, as you would expect from a tesco express. Sometimes a bit messy.
Very useful to nip out and get a quick lunch when in Trinity in class!
Bad selection of food available and most of the veg is past its best.
A nice little supermarket offering good value - the only one nearby.
Kinda tiny but provides a lot of different meals and basic groceries
Very small with limited selection of stuff, but better than nothing.
Convenience but not the best place to do your full grocery shopping
There wasn’t much fruit and veg options and staff were a bit rude
Just your typical Tesco Express, it is what it says on the tin.
Decent selection of food but the queues can build up a bit.
Stocks a smaller range that other Tesco good shop for wine
Always packed too small always running short of supplies
La tienda con mejor relación calidad precio de la zona.
Very small, not great selection, but best in the area!
Decent tesco, usually crowded and very little space.
Decent selection, salad bar, soups, and fresh bread
Worst staff ever...extremely rude towards customers
Not excellent, but still use it almost every day...
Handy right beside Pearse for a take away sandwich
One of the smaller Tescos. Don't expect too much!
Muy buenos productos, relación calidad precio
Everything you need is there - no complaint
Useless staff walking around like zombies
Often crowded but you can still be quick.
The prices and the food quality are ok.
Cheap meal takeouts are available here.
It's a tesco. Not much more can be said
It's OK for the basic necessary things
Very handy and helpful friendly people
Has just what you need for the morning
It's just ok for a quick shopping
Just the enough to save your life
Very lackluster biscuit selection
Place to get all kind of utility
É equivalente a um extra bairro.
Very convenient and good prices
Best choice in the neighborhood
Decent Tesco. Small but good
Just a regular grocery store
Quick cafe, low price …

I spend too much the here
Small range, but alright
Good products and prices
