I hired this company 3 weeks before I was to move into my 1st home that we recently purchased. I had informed them at that same time that I owned a 2 piece sectional couch that was quite large. I also informed them that the only way that couch was getting out of the apartment was the same way it was moved in, through the balcony of the 2nd floor of my apartment. They assured me they could handle it. They never came out to even look at the area. The day of the move came, and I called them that morning to ensure they had all the equipment... they of course said that they do not have the straps but were coming anyway...they get here, start moving some things and then still tried to move my couch through the front doors....of course they were unable to do so... then they proceeded to say...they weren't confident in their ability to remove the couch but made no preemptive plan to be prepared. Then they just decided to bring what the removed back to the apartment and left...talk about unprofessional.! I called their supervisor and he only gave excuses. Had me waiting 4 hours simply to tell me he could do nothing.... I had to search for another moving company with short notice and had to take another day off work unpaid and had to hire a sitter for my 3 kids again.... I found a moving company that could do it the next day but they charged 800 because it was a short notice move. This company owes me atleast $800.00 for the fact that I told them weeks in advance ab.out the couch....what a horrible company

I have mixed feelings about my move. Angelo and Julian were personable and nice. The issues I had were the team showing up 30 minutes beyond the window. Which would have been fine but I got no update until they arrived at about 10:30. We left at 12 to head to my new place. It was a ways away so I expected some delay but it took the team nearly 3 hours to get 50 miles. Again with no update until I texted to check in. The team was kind throughout the entirety process but the process felt much longer than it needed to be. At the end the of the move my bill was nearly $800 , which was twice the estimate. Thankfully I budgeted $800 but the company told me over the phone that it wouldn’t cost nearly that much. I even had all the small things already moved and the large items in the living room ready to go. I expected the move to take time but not 8AM-4PM. I liked the movers but that’s about it. Update: They reached out to me(see below) to help rectify the issue but when I emailed them there was never a response. Second Update: Still no response, over 3 weeks later. No resolution. Downgraded from 2 stars to one. Save your money and hire another company.

I have experienced significant financial losses due to the actions of Texas Best Movers, which I believe were fraudulent in nature. I scheduled a move with Texas Best Movers on April 14th at 9am. However, on the day of the move, they didn't contact me to advise that they wouldn't be showing up until I called after 10am. I asked if they could come next week or later if they got their truck working, but needing to move that day, I hired others to help. I requested my deposit be refunded back to me, and now it's been 2 months later. I've been calling every other day for a refund, but there have been disputes with my bank. The bank stated that Texas Best Movers stated I received my goods in good condition when that's not the case. I advise against booking this company as they will give you the runaround.

They are so friendly! We weren’t going to get movers but our load was just too much for us to bear worried we won’t be able to book movers on such short notice we were worried but called them anyway. I am so happy I found this company they were so friendly over the phone and answer any and all my questions I had and were quick to respond that they had availability that next morning. They arrived within the timeframe and they got straight to work. we did a walk-through of what needed to be packed into our truck. They were so friendly and respectful. We had more stuff than what we planned and they did an amazing job stacking it into our truck and getting it stable and ready for us to move to another state. I am so happy we found this company! 110% recommend to any and everyone!

I used this company on the 1st. If you like a team who is going to take advantage of the hourly charge by standing around and going slow then this is the company to choose. They broke my desk and damaged a shelf. I was charged for a mattress bag that wasn't used so I had to do a deep clean on my mattress prior to setting up my bed. One guy was on his phone for over an hour throughout the process so I had to jump in and move things myself. I've called multiple times and I've been told every time that I'd get a call back to discuss this, but no one has returned a call. I sent an email directly to the owner, supposedly, but he did not respond. Avoid this company unless you like to be overcharged for unacceptably bad service.

Julian and John were great. They took very good care of my belongings and completed my moved within the amount of time I had estimated. They drove safely to the destination and were very polite, answering almost everything with "sir." That was just the move. I had a major family medical emergency near Austin the Sunday before my move and Guillermo was compassionate and helpful in adjusting my move to the times that suited me. After 4 days of exceptional stress, I had a moment of frustration and abrasively responded to something Guillermo said and he didn't flinch. I'm pretty OCD about my stuff but it looks to have all made it without damage to anything. 10/10 Excellent work

These guys were amazing. Julian B and the crew Angelo G, Saul G and John H all made sure everything was packed and stored correctly. Julian let me know exactly when they were going to arrive the day before and day of, as well as keeping me updated on progress throughout the move. Everyone was extremely kind and professional, with no issues to my items or the house during the move. This was by far the best and most stress free move I’ve been apart of. I will highly recommend to all my friends and family in the San Antonio area.

Horrible experience!! Movers took an hour of “break” within the lapse of the move. They ruined one of my mattresses because they didn’t cover as they used to do. They even kept one of mu husband’s tools, and then denied it when confronting them! Lastly they even used my private bathroom. Don’t waste your hard earned money on them. Erik, I saw your reply, just because you don’t have me on your schedule now it doesn’t mean you didn’t service me. Stop trying to belittle my experience and my review.

Cory as Lead Mover and Andrew as Assistant Mover were superb! They were friendly, professional and demonstrated great integrity and respect. They worked hard and fast, but also with great care for the household belongings. I felt they were not only trustworthy and dedicated, but also that they really cared about their customers and that they sought to provide the best possible customer experience. I highly recommend Texas Best Movers for professionalism, honor, service, and price!

John and Richard moved mine and my mother's belongings to our new apartment last Friday. They were careful and did it in a timely manner. We had them move more than I anticipated, which made it a bit pricier than I anticipated, but it was worth it. I know I couldn't do it all by myself so it was worth paying more to have them do it for me. They were very professional and very easy to talk to while we were helping them get everything out the door. I highly recommend these guys!

Texas movers sent Matt, Richard and Jaelyn . Exceptional movers! Very professional and courteous. These guys worked in Texas 105 degree heat . Moved us out of a two story apartment. Had to park their truck a distance due to tenants overcrowded parking . These guys never complained or took a break! They are a big asset to Texas Moving company! Matt, Richard and Daniel were very polite and worked very hard as a team until the job was completed. With the amount of furniture and boxes we had I was concerned that it was not going to fit but they professionally packed that truck to the very end of the door it was packed full and all of it fit perfectly. We were very satisfied with this company that we chose to move us and are very thankful for the team that they provided to get the job done.

Texas Best Movers came by the medical laboratory I work for to drop off large, expensive equipment at very short notice and did it so efficiently. If there was any troubleshooting with certain items that we needed to be careful with, they were very patient and still managed to get the work done perfectly without any flaws. Very impressed with their service, definitely would recommend them if anyone needs movers for any job, big or small.

Richard and Jamar were both fantastic. They were quick, efficient, careful, and friendly. The cost was more than fair, and it was absolutely worth every penny. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat! They communicated with me when they were on the way during our scheduled window, and did a fantastic job. They cared for our furniture as if it was their own, and everything arrived in perfect condition.

They assisted in packing my apartment and moving it, quick and efficient. Great people to talk to and to be around. We worked with both Jon and John, they tackled the hard situation of moving in Texas heat and no ac in our apartment with no complaints and got everything moved over to out new place faster than I expected. Definitely will be using their services again in the future!

I do not recommend this company. My recent move was not a good experience. I am missing items and called to report it the same day they moved my stuff. I was told I would get call back but never did. I called again a couple of days later and was told they would look into it and promised they would call me back but never did. This company cannot be trusted!!

Jesse, Angelo, and Josh were amazing! Extremely courteous and very hard working, especially for Texas summer heat! They took great care with all our furniture. Stephanie and Gabe in the office were so helpful with scheduling last minute when my moving plans had to change with only 48 hours notice. Very happy with our moving experience!

The movers were very professional and cautious with our properties. The movers also made us feel like it was friends helping us move instead of a company. They were very polite and ask lot of questions on where to put our furniture. I hope I don't have to move again but if I do I'll call Texas Best Moving and Storage.

John/ Jamar came out to my place to pack up some of the larger items before me and my wife moved cross country… incredibly professional and a delight to work with. They both had all of the tools needed for anything else that could have occurred… highly recommend this moving company.
