"I am very grateful for Dr"
I was taken to Huguley ER by ambulance with a low Blood pressure and severe abdominal pain and terrible muscle spams. They did start IV fluids and broad base antibotics. No pain medicine given b/cof the low blood pressure. I asked if there was anything I could have for muscle spasms and warm blankets. Again, I was no medicine because of low blood pressure by Jared. He was rude, acted angry I asked for something for relief .Then he came back with IM injection with something for the muscle spasms. I was on a bedpan and instead of him telling me , the doctor ordered something for muscle cramps and spasms and I have an injection he turned to give the injection by ramming my face and body into bedrail while my husband was standing right there ready to help him turn me. He treated me like I was crazy for asking question about the medicine I received. Never once did he treat me like a person. The bright spot in ER was older black lady who was kind and sweet and very competent, explaining what was happening as she did the CT and tried to make me as comfortable as possible. By the time I came back he had been told my lactic acid was 4, and had sepsis and he gave me an antibotic. Still I had ask which one. Finally, as sick as I was I had enough and I asked his name. After that he did not attend to me. Very kind female nurses attended me. Lots of communication about what was going on and that I would have a room asap. It was till the next day at 3pm in the afternoon. I understood how the ER was indated with lots of patients, it happens I have never seen anyone be so uncaring and actually abusive to patients. It is sad to say, I cannot remember the two kind nurses in ER or the lady working in the middle of the night in CT. On the floor, I was treated with kindness and competency to name some of the nurses were Catherine, night shift, two different RN Kaylens who did a great job, Summer, tech, Elaine tech, Emily, RN and a shining star a male nurse Tony. All of this staff worked well together, ready to help each with the goal to help get the patient well. Appreciated the carefulnes and throughness of Dr.Mike Bismar, and Dr Shuma in finding where the infection came from and the cause despite extra steps in testing because of my allergies. Overall, many good health care workers but because of one Pif I was not trying to be fair I would rate this a bad expetience. I want administration to see this and health care workers not to be making assumptions about people who have been unfortunate to not have great health and lots of allergies. Jared in ER.I can't image this this the first complaint on him. Thank you all the health care workers in the field who work hard, with kindness and carefulness.
We went there for mental health and I would recommend not going here. I absolutely see why so many ppl don’t get help because after going thru what we went thru and traumatizing my daughter, no communication what so ever, open needle container in the room and things put in trash that should have been in biohazard container. You take forever to try to feed a child knowing they aren’t like adults that can just wait. You do nothing to comfort them or make them feel somewhat safe. You did nothing but constantly tell us to wait and it will be a couple of hours!!! I don’t understand how a child who you have rushed to get to the er and transferred to a different hospital but do t ask questions and use cops to get there and then proceed to tell us after a 6 hour wait that we have another 12/18 hours to figure stuff out. That is why ppl don’t receive help. We arrived at 2p and walked out at 8p. After being there for 6 hours you tell me it’s gonna take another 12/18 hours to get my daughter help but it took LESS than 5 minutes to get me a AMA paper to sign. I think your system is broke and you need to fix it. Also the lady who helped us in the behavioral dept, needs to work on her bedside manners and how she handles kids, especially since that what she does. She has terrified my child more than she was and you have traumatized her to not even want to get help. I think you may need to find another job that doesn’t work with ppl especially kids. I honestly see why ppl don’t get the help they need much less deserve because of the maybe 8 ppl we ran across that evening. I will be getting my kid some help but it will be no thanks to anyone in this hospital! If I could give a negative star I would. I think some of you need to evaluate your own lives before deciding the fate of someone else’s.
Great experience with doctors, quite a long wait. Saw doc for 5" and was told the "quick er clinic seat" would be about $600. Have been billed about $4000 thus far. Weirder still, I paid a co pay when I came in - no statement or record of it but it is squarely on my credit card statement. Got a reduced bill for the hospital, signed up for the payment plan, and made a payment. 4 days later it came back on my CC as a credit (no idea why). I checked and it showed the 6 payment plan (it MADE me do this, I tried to pay it all at once but there was no "pay in full" option). Then, last Tuesday I received a bill for the doctor for $1600 for the 5" consult and it was due the day before it came in the mail (I gave the clerk who comes asking for your info my email an hour and a half after I entered but 75" before I saw a doc), and so unsure why not email me. Anyway today, I got a letter for BOTH amounts, that they were in collections - the one I made a payment on and tried to pay in full, and then the one that came less than 15 days ago, already 2 days past the"due date" which was "immediate" although no total or invoice was ready at time of discharge. What the holy hell is still going on with billing over there? Does anyone have any blessed idea what the laws are or what they are doing? Now less than a month from the visit I have collections, no credit for my payment at time of service and y'all refused my CC payment for ? reason. Heck I could pay cash.
First off, I would like to say thank you to the Lord Jesus, who has these awesome people working at this hospital, I had surgery October 14 not here usually somewhere else, four days later, I went to Huguely hospital emergency room because I had a fever and was feeling really sick. I did have to wait a while in the emergency room because it was full, which I totally understand, but I think God that the doctors were very concerning and took very good care of me. The nurses were awesome, there are a couple of nurses I could complain about but overall I would come back to his hospital again! They really do treat patients with care. And they do go over and beyond to make sure that you’re well. The first time they thought I was OK and I got sent home, which we all thought I was OK but I started feeling sick again, I went back and they kept me again, and took very good care of me. Food was ok ,but I was very thankful that they had 3 meals for me to eat and you get your veggies or protein and some lemonade, or tea, or milk which ever you prefer. I cannot complain about this place. However, Hugley truly has compassion and the love of Jesus. Which I believe that we all should show the love of Jesus to one another even if somebody is being mean to you, or the staff is not treating you 100% still love them, kill them with kindness that’s what Jesus would do I just wanna say thank you Hugley Hospital for helping take care of me when I was sick.
I am very grateful for Dr.Sonia Bajaj, her NP Michelle Nash, and all of their staff. Dr. Bajaj is the first Rheumatologist to dx my RA; consequently, I will always be thankful that she took the time and extra steps with my bloodwork to confirm RA and not Lupus. My first set of blood tests showed that I might have had both diseases. She also confirmed my Fibromyalgia dx of years earlier. She has been very patient with me throughout times that I've had to change my appt. dates. Many other doctors might have given up on me, but she never did. I will always hold nothing but gratitude for her in my heart. All of the staff has shown care and courtesy too. Dr. Bajaj has added a wonderful Nurse Practioner to the practice and she is also very kind and knowledgeable. I would truly recommend this group to anyone suffering with a rheumatoid disease. I know you would receive the same professional and courteous care that I have received.
I give 0 Stars. My husband had surgery on Tuesday and they gave him steroids which spiked his blood sugar and we couldn't get it down with ALL the insulin we were using (20 yr Diabetic well educated) plus he was bleeding from one of his incisions and we were told if we had any problems to take him to the ER after hours. It was 8pm and we sat for over an hour while his sugar was going up and he was still bleeding...they never even got him into the triage nurse so we went to Harris in Burleson and he was treated upon arrival. DON'T GO TO THIS ER IF THERE IS ANY OTHER CHOICE IN THE WORLD. The Surgery Center is awesome...but stay away from the ER!
Very professional, caring staff. Dr Sheila Dwyer is wonderful. Have gone to her for years. My one problem was parking.I have a crummy left hip and an iffy right knee. I arrived at 9:20 am for my 9:45 appt. Drove around all possible parking lots for over 15 minutes. Finally gave up and tried valet.....6 cars in line. Drove down to Er and finally found 1 space across the street way down from the ER. Walked up the hill into ER, stairs not good for me. Walked inside down to main lobby. Got the Dr ofc at 10:01 for my 9:45 appt. Very frustrated and pooped. Please build a huge parking garage, it is needed!
My review is based off my interaction with the staff at this hospital. I had a medical event happen on my birthday and had to be admitted. The nurse, doctors and techs were amazing. Shout out to Techs Erika, Daija, and Nurse Pamela. You all work well together as a team and made my hospital birthday experience a great one. If you all have trainings on how to show empathy, ease a patients mind, or how to connect with a patient, hospital administrators need to make sure you ladies are a part of it. Thanks for not forcing me to wear that 1960s curtain gown. “They see me rolling” (Inside Joke)
For the most part my experiences here have been good ones. But the one negative that repeats every time is the LACK OF PARKING. They have free valets, sure, but most people don't want to use that service. Some people have appointments that will keep them past the hours for valet. I swear there are 50 to 200 spots by the main entrance. This is including the ones for the doctors building attached to the ER and main area. That is not enough. I arrive over an hour early for appointments if possible just to try and get a parking spot. Stop adding buildings and add a damn parking garage.
Staff at the mammogram place was so unprofessional and so uncaring about patients. They seriously hurt me during the process and then acted as if I was just being dramatic. A second nurse came in to assist with the mammogram and I tried to explain to her what had happened, she told me that is not at all what had happened ( even though she was not in the room) I would not let them finish because they didn’t even seamed bothered by the amount of pain they caused. A mammogram should not leave a person on the floor in pain. I will NOT go back there EVER for a mammogram .
I had been admitted 7/21/23-7/26/23 for an un foreseen reason. The nurses were so kind and sweet. Just to name a few Ashlynn Davis, Janet and Carmen, Detrimon and Dr. Lawrence was amazing so easy to talk to. The staff was very patient with me, and I truly appreciate it. I was visiting my mother and had to go to the hospital, ended up staying for five days. The best hospital stay I've ever had in my entire life, hands down. And I've seen a lot of hospitals. Texas Health Huguley Hospital is 100% the best hospital in TEXAS!!!!
Absolutely wonderful. They for sure know how to take care of patients. I've been here 3 times for different reasons and every time I leave mesmerized by their customer service. Today I had surgery, doctor was running late and they kept me informed and apologized for the delay. I'm glad they don't try to rush patients out. Pam the nurse was so fun and definitely help me feel at ease. Every person I came in contact with was great. Thank you all for help me feel much better during an stressful and scary day.
The staff that have drawn my labs have been great. My doctor had requested stat (same day) labs three times and each time the results were uploaded to my portal 18-48 hours later and I had to call and request that the results be sent to my doctor because her office hadn’t received them. Not sure where the miscommunication happened but these tests were to determine changes to my medication and getting them delayed could have caused a delay in my treatment.
Your billing company is totally wrong! I did the footwork, got all needed facts, called them with info to refile the denied portion back to my insurance for payment. They transposed code when filing. They are hounding me for payment. No!! Denial was their error. I know this. I file claims. I will not pay as my 2 insurances cover this claim code. Physical therapy however is wonderful. Good care with professional therapists. They get 5 stars.
I know from the past that I’ve always received very good care from Tx Huguley Hospital! . I’ve had 2 surgeries plus other procedures including lab draws . I know they are the one of the best hospitals and I’ve been seen by very professional and experienced doctors there . I feel very confident abou my new surgeon Dr Martinez and my heart specialist Dr Prasad with the care they are giving me. Thank you for asking my opinion.
I was extremely pleased with the care I received when I had a recent needle biopsy performed in your facility. The nurses who assisted and the radiology personnel present were excellent and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Smith, who performed the procedure, was personable and put me at ease. My only complaint was the timing as apparently the Dr was delayed and I had to lie there waiting for nearly 45 minutes.
My appointment was at 8 am. Was told by text and email to be there at 7:45 am. The office doesn't open their doors until 8 so waited in the parking lot. Checked in, then was not called back until 8:10. Talked to nurse then waited another 10 minutes for doctor. If the office will not open the doors until 8:00 tell your computer to quit telling people to be there at 7:45.
I rate my experience at this hospital to have been one of the best in my life and I have been to a lot of hospitals. Wonderful staff from the minute I was admitted th the hospital to the doctors that worked to resolve my issue. I must mention the cafeteria does not have cooks, instead they have chefs, best food I ever had. Thank you Huguley hospital and staff.
If this in regard to my colonoscopy, everything was great- staff members were vey caring. If this is in regard to my CT, again the lady that did my rest was wonderful. I felt informed and respected. If it is in regard to the lab, I appreciate that I rarely have to wait. The staff are proficient so that I am in and out. That’s very helpful and important to me.
Have been a cancer patient here for a few years. Drs. Mansoor and Ojo are the BEST. The overall rating for them is a 5. The hospital gets a 2. Very "thoughtful" of the remodel/expansion planners to put the Cancer Center in the freaking basement without windows. I guess having and treating cancer is pretty dismal, let's just keep it that way........
I will never understand why Dr’s won’t listen to their patients. My white blood cells were high but the Dr didn’t think I had an infection. I told him yes I have had a cough and my throat has been burning. So he says yeah that’s probably acid reflux. And he absolutely would not listen to me. I know exactly what acid reflux feels like!
I have very bad anxiety, and the staff that took care of me in room 4416, made me feel more then comfortable and at home. I want to acknowledge the RN Rena. She out did herself and made me feel very welcome and comfortable inspite of what was going on with me. I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you all for taking good care of me.
While I was in labor, and my baby was in distress, I had a nurse say to her coworker while standing above me “why do I always get stuck with the broken babies?” I had a great experience with RN Cas, but because of what that one nurse said while I was extremely vulnerable , I will never recommend this hospital
It was great appointment, and awesome encounter processing my benefits with young lady with great public people personality as I was getting set up for radiology imaging. Also the guy driving the shuttle was awesome as well. Took. Ate of me coming and going. I appreciated both of these folks. Great job.
I had a great experience at Huguley! I went in with suspected appendicitis which turned out to be exactly what it was. They got me from the ER and into surgery the same day and I was able to go home that night. Everyone was so nice and Dr. Marquart did an amazing job!! I would definitely recommend!
wait time too long. appt at 7:45. was seen by Dr at 9:00. her assistant was timely and thorough with health assessment record. Dr. listened well. was cordial. thanked me for coming. was helpful and shared latest research on condition. grateful for that. officeand treatment room clean and orderly.
My experience with Huguley Hospital was very pleasant and quick . I didn’t have to wait long and procedure was effortless and quick. The OR staff were all very kind, caring, and very down to earth friendly. I would definitely recommend this facility to all my family and friends.
Everyone was fantastic. From the moment I checked in till the moment I was discharged. All the nurses, the doctor, the anesthesia, the whole staff on the fourth floor from the nurses and the physical therapists. So many people I wish I could name them all. They were fantastic.
My time with Dr Marquart was great! He was kind and took time to go over the health issue I came in for. He also also took time to know and understand some of my other over all health issues. I was very pleased and thankful for the time with a caring doctor as Dr Marquart.
I use Dr. Harroon for my kids and it's always a great visit. She is always very patient and informative. My kids are never scared or nervous when going to her like with past Drs. I always recommend her to everyone and appreciate her caring way with my little ones.
All was great except for the food. How can you serve that? The Steak had a terrible taste. The lettuce was bad. The only good food was the mash potatoes. My cheeseburger had no cheese. Food was cold. At least serve the same food to patients as you do your staff.
I had a great experience when I had my gallbladder removed. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Reassured me of concerns I had. Shout to my anesthesiologist. I sadly forgot his name but I think it started with an R. Now I feel bad. But he was great.
The care is out-of-this-world from the nurses, to the food, to the therapy. The care couldn’t have been better. From a woman who’s never been to this kind of care I didn’t know what to expect and was quite resistant to be honest. But the care was excellent.
Fast check in, clean, friendly staff and receptionist. Ranson and the staff in Nuclear Medicine was Awesome. Made me feel comfortable and and relaxed, they explained what they were doing and what it was doing. I new I was in good hand with the staff in NM.
Everyone I came in contact with from the valet person to the nursing staff, techs, doctors, etc show a genuine care for you. They greet you with a caring, joyous attitude that lifts you to another level. Thank you very much for all that you do for us!
We love the entire staff. My 12 year old had a double knee surgery and everyone has done a fantastic job helping with recovery. From scheduling to each therapist all go above and beyond to accommodate him and build him up. Thank you so much.
Be very careful if you choose this hospital! I came to the emergency room two years ago with pneumonia (my regular doctor had consulted with me by phone amd told me to get to an ER as quickly as possible). The doctor was very rude; once my
Everyone is so very nice here... and more to the valet lady Amanda that is Always here on the medical office side 1-3 she is so super sweet. To me and anyone I see. She is great at her job and so very friendly definitely deserves a raise...
Here goes my story. Hospital staff may remember me, I had a bit of a unique case. On July 31 2022 I presented to the emergency room with delirium and extremely high fever. I was diagnosed with infective endocarditis due to staph bacteria.
1 star is being extremely generous. Other than nurse Joni and Tech Julian the staff was rude mean and I caring. I was basically left in my bed In filth. This was the second time I gave this hospital a chance and it will def it be the last.
I was in and out within minutes. I waited in the waiting area for may be 4 minutes. The doctor came in within a few minutes to attend to me. He was very nice and took the time to answer all my questions. He quickly arranged for me to have
The technician doing my mammogram was very abrasive and down right rude and dismissive as to why I was having a mammogram because I had already had one done 6 months prior. I informed her that the doctor had ordered it and that that’s all
Our special needs 3 year old just sat in there with us screaming and crying the entire time in pain. Over a hour. Did we get seen? No. We didn’t. We saw at least five people get discharged and not a single person out the waiting room was
I came this morning at 7:00 am I drove 50 minutes to hospital because I have not been feeling good for 3 weeks I do have a follow up with my doctor on 11/30 but was advised if I did not feel well to return back wich I did and when the
Great experience, I've been trying to find a doctor like Dr.Sajja for a long time. She took her time explaining and helping me with things I haven't understood and took all the necessary promotions to help. I would highly recommend!
Dr. Dunn is by far the best doctor I have ever used. He let's me ask all the questions I have and he will tell me when I can do better without being judgemental. The office staff and nurses are friendly and attentive. Good job.
Absolutely loved Dr Webb he was very welcoming and honest about my treatment options . He took his time to address all my concerns and was very thorough. All the staff was welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Webb.
Great care by the nurses and Doctors. Very impressed with all they did. Really appreciated the paperwork given to us when we were dismissed to go home. Grateful for every doctor and every nurse who took care of Charles.
I wish my first experience was like Huguley Therapy. The bar is definitely higher here. I felt the other therapy was only concerned with paperwork, no one on one work. No progress. I look forward to each therapy class.
I was real happy with the hospital doctor that was assigned to me during stay. She took explain why she was runi specific test and having additional doctors coming in. The nurses were almost very nice and professional.
I love Jana and how she has helped me with my stuttering. She has been an example of excellence. I’m most grateful to the hospital for offering the therapy I was desperately in need of. Continued blessings to you all.
Dr. Konadu is absolutely amazing. One of the best doctor’s I have ever dealt with. Her staff are incredible also. Courteous, helpful, in a wreck there to help you with whatever you need. Excellent excellent excellent.
Advent Health offered me payment options and social services, if I need them. I couldn't ask for any more than that. Plus my time in the hospital was thorough, and most helpful in managing my future health.
Today was my first visit with Dr Choudhary, very impressed with him. His medical assistant Tatum went above and beyond getting me right in for my appointment. The girls at the front desk are very helpful.
Everyone eas personable and friendly. Doctor had a very caring manner exhibiting concern for my needs. I was quite comfortable with every single member of the staff and highly recommend this practice.
Dr Yemi is amazing, she is personable, takes time to understand and explain, you don’t feel rushed. The front staff and the nurses make feel welcomed, this was my first time and everything went timely
Both nurses of my TEEs test were AMAZING!! Sarah was very calming before and during the procedure. Being a nurse myself, I am picky. But she was great!! Hayley was very sweet also!! Tech was nice.
The site is good. One recommendation is to have test results where they all open instead of having to click on each result..close it…go back to page…open next result….not customer friendly.
I absolutely love my doctor and his staffs. They are professional and very efficient. I always get seen when i make my appointments. They are always proficient in their work and thorough
Taylor is excellent. Caring about your health and askes the right questions. She is easy to talk to and helps you with whatever issues you have. She actually saved my life last year.
We just arrived to the Fort Worth area and could not be any more pleased with our doctors, nurses, and staff. The absolute best. Shoutout to Dr. Chadwick and Dr. Konadu! Thankful!
I visited the office of Dr. Wesley Marquart for a discussion about my gallbladder issues. I found the front desk staff to be friendly, helpful, and cheerful. I felt at ease.
Everything was great. The people went out of their way to make sure you were comfortable. Dr. Konadu was great. I've had a few procedures done and it's always gone great.
All doctors and nurses took great care of me! Everyone went out of their way to help me get better! I greatly appreciated the care I was given in this place!!
Let me tell you the nurses are absolutely amazing!! My pre-op nurses had me laughing so hard. I thought I was among friends! Amazing experience!
Very professional and friendly staff!! Called back on time. Wonderful time spent with Dr and she listens to her patients. Great Visit .
Everyone was very nice and caring. Had a CT scan done and that whole department was just awesome! Thank you for watching out for me.
Amazing experience!! First prenatal apportionment with Dr. Neef and I absolutely love him and his staff! Very welcoming and warm!
The Nursing staff is the best couldn’t ask for any better care. Every thing was good except for the food
Quick online check in. Friendly receptionist and staff. Everthing went quick and fine. GREAT physician.
