We turned up for a late dinner and while most other places were closed or closing, we expected to be turned away here too but we were welcomed to take a seat and order, the server immediately cleaned our table and gave us menus, all with a smile and pleasant demeanour. We hadn’t eaten here before but we ordered quickly (4 main meals and 2 entrees) as we knew it was a bit late, but they seemed happy for our business regardless and our meals came out quickly. All meals were enjoyed, I had a satay dish, now the satay was a different flavour than I’m used to as a Thai satay but I still enjoyed it, one of the other dishes was the green curry (which I ate some of) and I must say that it was one of the best green curries I’ve had in a long time, I know green curry is a pretty “common” dish now but nonetheless this one is delicious, and I’ll be back to order this for myself. Thank you Thai Beach Cafe for being welcoming and accommodating.

Been coming here for years, usually friendly and generous. Unfortunately now outwardly rip you off. They have a lunch special, but will charge you full price, check you are getting what you pay for as well I ordered their signature special noodles. It was missing the prawns which are the highlight of the dish. I point this out and got my fish back with two small sad prawns on top. Shouldn't have to do this. Just put your special prices up and stop ripping people off. Give people what they pay for. Our meals should have cost ~$36, ~$50 later we didn't even get what we paid for and the food quality has also dropped noticeably in the last few weeks.

I’m sorry, but had the worst experience ordering a delivery with you , after ordering we were advised delivery in 30 mins, after over an hour of waiting , I rang you and 1st you asked if we could pick up ? … No , I’ve already paid a $15 delivery fee on my credit card … you came out 3 times after much confusion with your orders . Delivering wrong items and asked to return them.. which we did .. But, ooh working in the hospitality industry, that is a complete no go ! Finally got a green tai chicken, but very hard to find the chicken content … sorry , not recommending you at this point !

We've had this from Uber Eats and in the cafe. Can't really call it a restaurant given its size and its like a cafe. Entrees are good, satay sauce is either good or floury. Their curries are ok but some have cucumber in them, you think it's zucchini but look closer! Pass on the beef salad it tasted like a plastic container that it must have been in when it was heated up maybe. I love the curries in Thailand but what is made here doesn't seem very authentic.

We just wanted a low key in the budget dine in for a Sunday and this place ticked all our boxes. The food was amazing and each dish had its own experience of flavour. The presentation and the taste equally balanced with the vibe of the place. Amazing outdoor seating and would definitely go again. Worth a try with your family.

ordered on menulog- advised afterwards that meal would take more than 1 hour, rang restaurant tried to cancel- was told they won't make meal and to contact Menulog, did so and was told I couldn't cancel because restaurant had started making the meal. I then contacted restaurant -said they will make meal, waited an hour, picked up food cooked by teenager (could see kitchen) - both meals were super oily, tasteless, meat overcooked- oh well

Very kind staff, but please note that this place gets incredibly busy around dinner time, so you really should order ahead if waiting for longer than the estimated 15min per meal is going to be upsetting. I waited for half an hour the other day for a single meal and a side, everyone was very kind, except it seems that my order had partially been forgotten about.

Food was disgusting. Dried out chicken satays.. yuk. Got beef instead of chicken Pad Thai it was absolutely disgusting. Dried out beef and terrible tasting noodles. Definitely new owners it used to be delicious food. I'm so saddened and I hope they took note to improve their food.

I used to eat there often a few years ago and was good and reasonably priced. Ordered take away seafood tom yum the other night, terrible! Minimal stale seafood, bad taste and filled with more red capsicum than you can imagine. Paid $39 with prawn crackers and small satay sauce. Never again.

Ordered a couple entrees and a few main dishes and all of it was very nice. Can tell they use fresh ingredients, plus all of the sauces were delicious and complimented the meals very well. The only negative thing I can comment on was the wait time, although they were really busy I feel like a 40-50 minute wait time is a bit too much.

I'm sorry, in my opinion and experience, our meals tasted weird and the flavour was way off. Eatten Thai from many places but we almost threw out all our meals. Pad Thai was just bearable to eat. Tried it as a new 1st time and will definitely go elsewhere. Not for us. Seafotd Thai was much nicer. If anyone wants to try a Thai place.

Would only give 2/10. Paid $100 for spring rolls which had no greens. 2 tomyams. Pad Thai 0,5 out of 10 Coconut steamed rice which was not steamed but rather boiled and on top sweet. I rate it 0.1 out of 10. I would not order from this place again.

We ordered curries plus rice. There was five small pieces of poor quality meat in each. Each was so watery it was more like a ridiculously expensive soup. Tables could do with a wipe down also.

Cosy little casual cafe near the beach with Chicken Satay to die for. Friendly and delicious. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend stopping in for lunch.
