Very calm and beautiful local railway station situated between Kalyan and Dombivli stations. Thakurli railway yard and the open space of railway can be use for new Railway Terminal, so that many express trains can be departed from and/or arrive at this terminal. Thus railway can streamline the timetable of central local trains.

Recently rennovated. Platform width increased and additional platform created i.e. now for platform-1 people can use both sides platform, similar to Dombivali railway station. Width of foot over bridge - FOB towards CST is very narrow should have been similar to the one one on other side of the station.

A small area between two big cities namely Kalyan and Dombivli. Had Tata Power House previously which produced electricity from coal for Railways. A serene residential area but with the same rates of Dombivli due to its proximity to Railway. A mix population of Marathi and South Indian people.

Thakurli stn is well maintened and also its developing with new bridges. East is the only locality where many peoples leaves but in west only few hundres of people leaves rest of the places is under railway car shed and farming lands for some farmers who do farming for their livelyhood.

Earlier it is very much congested station having single platform. After renovation, one more platform is made also escavator is made available which is helpful to old age people. Also made 3 tickets counter at 3 ends of station. CST side FOB renovation work is also going on.

Nice and well maintained station. Also heard haunted stories about this station. It's believed tat a school boy was run over by a mail / express train crossing the railway tracks, and since then the Spirit is seen running behind trains on full moon nights

Clean , hygienic and very low footcounts on daily basis. Its a sister station to major station lying a kilometer àway , Dombivli. The station is developed recently and extended . New ticket counter is constructed to the west side of station.

Not very rush. It has 2 platforms. Washroom is not there. There is on escalator, Railway administration fitted there recently. Only one ticket counter and two overhead bridges.

Worst timing of trains, trains are always running late. Continuous rail work on track which makes train late. Worst station and motormen who delays train from kalyan itself

Already development work is going on. It is planned to provide 2 nos. of escalators on East side, provision of wide FOB on Mumbai end and rooftops solar panels.

Newly constructed home platform is very nice. Still construction is in progress. New FOB, roof on platforms very nice. Itvis our duty to maintain cleanliness.

Well maintained station , good aspect is that this station has toilets for handicapped/ wheelchair persons in addition to toilets for men and women
