Me buscaram no hotel no dia e hora marcada, me deram um chip de telefone sem nenhum custo, com internet full para poder falar com meus pais, os cuidados foram absurdos! Meu guia Rabin estava me esperando em Lukla, um ser humano incrível! Muito simpático, respeitoso, sempre sorridente e disposto a ajudar! As hospedagens foram ótimas, nem precisei usar saco de dormir!! A comida maravilhosa onde eu podia escolher o que quisesse no cardápio!! Fui só eu e o guia, no meu ritmo, no meu tempo! Consegui completar todo o trekking! O Balaram (responsável pela agência) virou um grande amigo! Cuidadoso o tempo todo!! E o guía também, um grande amigo que fiz no Nepal !! Good morning Dr Kandarp Pandya here from Ahmedabad once again Reached safely home. Thanks for all your stays and Trek But there is one concern I would like to discuss with you. All stays given were perfect for us. Regarding trek route. Lumle to Majgaon to kimche to Gandhruk Lumle to Majgaon Trek was pleasant and safe we completed Trek of around 4 to 5 kms in 3 hours. Enjoyed our stay at Majgaon lodge. 2nd day morning 8 AM we started for Trek to Gandhruk. But I think Trek looks longer so our guide(not professional Trek guide) Took short cut. That's disaster. We have passed through slippery stone steps, in jungle area looking not treking route. We have to walk on Grass land with lots of liches every where. Every one of us has 10 to 20 lich bites. Each of us fall 5 to 6 times due to slippery stone steps. Of course weather conditions were not good it was raining continuously. But as you know we all are first time trekkers so need easy Trek as told to you in our first time talk. Anyways everything is well if it ends well. So we managed to complete Trek and reached safely with lots of pleasant memories. Thanks again And be careful while giving Trek route and Trek guide to other groups like us. Dr Kandarp Pandya

My wife and I made a two weeks custom trip in Nepal with Thamel Travel and Tours. We visited Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Bandipur, Dulhikel, Patan, Lumbini. Since the very first contact by email everything was just perfect! Balaram listened carefully to our demands and programmed everything (itinerary, activities, hotels, meals, coffee breaks) accordingly! The price was competitive and the payment easy to do. Once we arrived everything was taken care of. Balaram was a very good guide, took care of every detail, we just had to enjoy the visits and the very special country that is Nepal! We had very good accommodations (special mention to Barahi lodge and Dwarika’s resort, just amazing!) and meals! Visiting Nepal is an amazing adventure with lots of things to see and to do. It’s clearly not as stressful as India. We were safe anywhere and could easily walk everywhere without being harassed. People there are much more welcoming to foreigners. We would recommend Thamel Travel and Tours to anyone wanting to visit Nepal and we are certainly considering traveling again with them for a future tour of Tibet and Bhoutan.

We used the tour service to visit the main highlights of Nepal in January 2019 in a family tour. The service was good, careful guides and drivers. The tour price was competitive too. Balaram is decent and professional man who made the best deal with us. Balaram's wife Saru welcomes at the Airport. Rabi was our tour guide & driver. He is very good. We enjoyed our tour & stay in Nagarkot, Kathmandu and Pokhara. The hotel for the first night in Nagarkot was the best - Club Himalaya with very good breakfast. Hotel Batika Classic Pokhara was good. We couldn't enjoy the breakfast at Hotel Arts Khatmandu. Because, most of the items are not hot. Last day, they arranged a farewell Nepalese dinner with cultural shows at Gokarna Restaurant. That was nice. Another guide Raj was with us in the last day. He is a cool guy. Overall tour was very good. We all enjoyed the tour especially our kids.

We spent two wonderful weeks in Nepal during the end of the year holidays. Everything went perfect from the very beginning with the correspondence with Thamel Travels and Tours. The email exchange with Balaram was very easy and pleasant, he was very attentive to our needs and organized an amazing itinerary for us. We had a good feeling about our trip and this became reality on the very first day. Everything was perfectly organized for us, he was always punctual, we received clear explanations regarding the planning of every day and we understood very quickly that we are on good hands and the only thing to do was to relax and enjoy. Nepal is a wonderful country and Balaram was the perfect guide for our trip. We definitely recommend his services. We are already considering a second trip with Thamel Travels and Tours.

Balaram is very responsive when I sent email inquiries and just catered for my requirements without trying to cross-sell. Truly no frill. I was provided a very good guide Mahesh a really joyful thoughtful and caring person in nature. Mahesh is very helpful and well coordinated the trek and save us a lot of hassles. Especially thanks to him looking after our 8 yrs old kid when the kid is having stomach upset and vomiting. Mahesh has made the trek enjoyable even though it’s cold and hiccups during the trekking. In the end we still able to complete the trek and reach Kyanjin ri thanks to his patience and arrangement. I will not hesitate to recommend Thamel travels Balaram and Mahesh to anyone to organize for their trekking. It will make the trek more enjoyable and great holiday.

Amazing service, like you’re part of the family. Balaram went over beyond all our expectations we could have had for an Amazing service. From rapid answers to our questions (before and while we where travelling) to free tips on what to do. Balaram was aleays there for us. He even changed our itinerary because we wanted to do other things. And if you have the chance like we had, sometimes he drives is clients and visit with you and gives you informations on what you are seeing. Everything was perfect with Thamel Travels & Tours and Balaram (the one in charge). We hired a private car from Kathmandu to Pokhara, but visiting Manakamana and staying one night in Bandipur. Balaram picked up us on time and was very kind, he went with us to the top of Manakamana and he also acompanied us in Bandipur in a small trek to see the Himalaya at Sunrise. We also hired a Trek in Langtan Valley, everything was perfect, the guided the attention, everything! 100% I will repeat with them if I came back.

The Owners are really hands-on and true to their business. The services are exceptional. Organized and flexible travel plans. Communication is not a problem. Well guided tours, the owners/ guides are well versed on the tourist site. Transportation was not an issue. My team felt secure and safe on our 3week long Travel under this agency. Kudos!

We were given the wrong permits for the annupurna circuit trek which meant we had to return to Thamel to refund the permits we did not use. Communication acceptable. Refunded the money in 3 different currencies, somewhat inconvenient. Overall, mixed opinions but Balaram did try and correct mistakes as best he could.

Balaram is very welcoming and helping in every way! We can only recommend to book your tour or flight with him :) Unfortunately my friends bag got lost on our flight so we had to rearrange everything in last minute. Balaram did everything possible to support us! Thank you very much!

Balaram responded timely in his replies to my queries and he was on time for the pick up. The guide given was knowledgeable and reliable too. Overall experience was good and his charges are reasonable compared to other tour operators I liaised with for the same itinerary.
