I've always ran in Asics Nimbus until they changed the toe box. I did hours and hours of online research, multiple sources, forums, comparison sites, everything. I went into The Athlete's Foot to try some contenders on. Looking for a new alternative to the Nimbus i spoke to Gerald and i can say with confidence i will always come to him in future for his expertise and recommendations. He new every part of every running shoe i'd read about and the differences between them. He also threw in some additional options that would suit my running style. He went the extra mile which is so hard to find these days in the retail world. He was patient and shows genuine enthusiasm and passion for running. It can be hard deciding with so many options out there, if you are in the same situation ask for him. You'll walk out knowing exactly what you want and it will take far less time that what it took me. Thanks Gerald!

Jacobs service was amazing! He was attentive from the moment we stepped in store, extremely knowledgeable on the trainers we were provided as options after completing the sizing etc exercise. My sister and I both came away knowing so much about our feet than before we walked in, and I’ve been to the ASICS store previously and learnt nowhere near as much about my feet and suitable footwear. Jocob was attentive even while dealing with multiple other customers who came into the store while we were in there. Multi tasking at its finest! We came away with 2 pairs of trainers, insoles and socks, and can honestly say it’s because of Jacobs service. I wasn’t even planning on buying anything before speaking to him as was just there for my sister. I never take the time or seek out a way to leave feedback, but I just had to today as Jacobs service was the best customer service I’ve ever received.

I went in to this store in a foul mood. Having just received a diagnosis of arthritis in my foot, in lots of pain and absolutely miserable about being forced to wear hideous shoes for the rest of my life. The store assistant Taniel was amazing. She was patient, understanding and very knowledgeable. She was kind and friendly, despite me struggling so hard not to be rude because of my mood. Taniel helped me to find the right shoes and although I will always hate them, I am eternally grateful for her help. Will definitely go back when I need to. I will never want to wear sportswear, but I feel confident I got the shoes I need to wear.

I wish to give a huge compliment to Allan the manager of Athletes Foot in Westfield Liverpool. Allan went to a lot of trouble and time to assist me with shoes prescribed by a specialist. Allan took phone calls from me leading up to me presenting at the store. He could not have done more to assist me. The shoes unfortunately did not meet my needs but Allan gave me courteous customer service throughout our dealings. Thank you Allan . I returned recently and purchased the Hoki Bondi 7 as my ankle swelling had reduced. I recieved the same courteous service from Allan and Leanne. Thank you both.

I've been to Athlete's foot many times and the quality of their products are second to none. The price you pay is the quality, skill and labour behind making a good pair of shoes. I recently bought the Wave Rider 24's and they're an amazing set 10/10. I strongly recommend everyone to become a member of athlete's foot. Costs nothing, and all of your receipts are kept in their system. So if you ever need a replacement for a pair of shoes, no need to rummage frantically through your pockets and purses. The ladies who work here are polite and courteous, always a nice visit when I come here

Went yesterday to have a refit, due to a shoe I bought a week ago was just not the right fit for me. Gerald welcomed me as soon as I entered the store. He listened to my issue, and came back with 5 options! One of the options he brought out was an option I was thinking of after doing a few reading the day before. There I knew, he knew what he was doing! Really cool guy. I went out smiling as I walked out with a shoe that was far much better for my feet and running needs! It was a 5 star experience.

Ditto what the other people have said! Came here for a nice pair of running shoes and was blown away by the customer service provided by Josh. He walked me through my walking style (pun intended) and then settled in to go through 3 pairs of shoes he thought would be eligible, iterating as he went based on how I felt about them. Did not feel that he was being pushy at any point in time and he gave me a bit of insight into how I walk and should best get fitted in the future so thank you so much !

Excellent, experienced staff. I am a trail runner and Michael was hugely knowledgeable in dealing with my wider than usual fitting shoe requirements. He also explained the importance of socks. I ran in toe socks with my new shoes today and the experience was totally different. In a good way! Go here. These people understand moving and running especially. My girlfriend and I had a great experience with Jacob here. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. We knew nothing about our feet before we came in, and upon leaving the store we know understand our feet very well! He wasn't pushy for purchase (they didn't have my preferred option in the right size and he told me to go their website and collect from another store), and he directed us appropriately for our budget. A very good retail experience.

Wow what an experience I woul not have expected in the middle of CBD! Super friendly and professional team. The shop assistant Stephen was helping me to choose the right shoes. Useing magic machine, sharing pediatric knowledge, respecting and following all my needs.... like budget colours...being patient, gave me enough time... lets say its not easy when girl is buying shoes! This shop is fantastic for a casual runner that just wants any old pair of trainers at a reasonable market price. Lots of colours and styles to choose from with foot measuring service on-site. However for the serious runner or a lover of the off-road scene, there is no great Racing/high-end shoe choice or staff expertise to help you here. Not a single pair of shoes with any decent lugs. Certainly not a specialist running shop.

The staff are courteous, professional, and knows their stuff well. Attentive and helpful in giving expert advice on choosing shoes. Philippa, one of the retail salespersons, gave excellent customer service and made the whole endeavour of choosing the best-fitting pair of shoes an enjoyable experience. Excellent help and service from Ash! We came to the store looking for decent runners to replace generic fit fashion brands that wear out to quickly. After doing the foot analysis, Ash went to the back and brought out a selection of shoes I wouldn't have picked. All felt like clouds on my feet compared to what I had been wearing. We left with a pair each and very satisfied!

Having experienced some niggling injuries recently, I was looking for some science behind this shoe purchase. Charlotte was professional, helpful and patient. She asked me a range of questions about km's I run, issues, current shoes etc. Ran me through the computer step analysis thingy and settled on options from there. Highly recommended.

Can be a wait time if there are more than 2 customers in store being looked after but staff have a great knowledge of the brands of shoes and what would be best suitable.
