After having problems with sore feet from walking I was sent there by my doctor, and Athlete's Foot recommended a pair of wide fitting Hoka shoes. They have changed my lifestyle, with me now being able to walk many Km's without getting sore feet. I was a little concerned when the first pair only lasted me less than six months. But when I went in to buy another pair, I found out that Athlete's Foot would exchange my old worn-out pair free of charge under warranty as they were guaranteed for 6 months. A similar situation occurred with the second pair and again they exchanged them under warranty. Not only did we receive good customer service, polite, not pushy and listen to my needs, they recommended quality shoes (alias expensive) but well worth the money spent and they guarantee (via the manufactures) the produce without hazels. I would give them 100 out of 100. After giving them such a good rave a while ago, I now find myself disappointed with them. After purchasing more than five pairs over the past two years and this does not include the shoes they replaced under warranty from this company, not all at Tea Tree Plaza store. I now find the last pair I purchased, which lasted less than 6 months, with me not wearing them for two months of that period while we were away on holidays, they refused to replace them. Reason, you have had them replaced before. End of story. Would not even help me get another pair by ordering them in for me, unless I paid in full and wait for them to come in. But wait, no promise they would be in before Christmas, and this was back on the 17th of November 23. Well wrong guys, the warranty does not say if you have had another pair replaced, new ones will not be covered by warranty. It was not like I even tried to get a warranty pair replaced under warranty, because the warranty does not say you cannot, I didn't. So, guy's, man up, admit you made a mistake and take responsibility and give me a call, then you can change your warranty statement if you wish to.

I too, stuck my head in the door for a browse, and then I had another most wonderful experience. A young lad named Jim was extremely helpful. He could not do enough to assist me with a pair of shoes most suitable for my feet, my age, and my colour choice. He rang other stores to source the shoe I preferred, which was most comfortable on my foot, and arranged to have it transferred to this store. Athletes foot store personnel have always been extremely helpful with their expert advice on the most appropriate shoe suitable for my needs, whether it has been for sport, then running shoe, not a walker. A note to the reviewer who was upset over a sale item choice of colour. Surely that reviewer should realise the reason for many sale items in all stores, is to remove from stock, items which are not selling for any and every reason, eg colour, size, shape etc.

Asked the assistant for shoes in either 13 or 14 depending on the brand then she asked if I wanted wide fit ..I wasn't sure so she bought a selection ..the shoe I actually liked wasn't in stock so she offered to order a pair for me and asked me again what size and width I wanted I said I didn't know till I had tried them on after looking in their website she told me they didn't have the colour I wanted anyway so I left NOT ONCE DID THEY SUGGEST OR OFFER TO MEASURE MY FEET NOTHING LIKE THE TV ADDS !!!! I was so disappointed with their service. Eventually bought ASICS gel kayanos from rebels Golden Grove who actually helped me. Won't set foot in here again pardon the pun

I have bought the same type of shoes from the Athletes Foot store at Modbury for many years and never had any problems however the last pair split all the stitching on one shoe on one side not long after purchasing them. I took them back and after photos were sent to the shoe rep they were replaced at no charge with no fuss Thanks to Jude and the other Staff who made this happen with smiles and politeness at all times. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I mainly dealt with Geoff who was extremely helpful and patient. His product knowledge was second to none. I advised him of the problems I have had with running shoes and he listened and gave me his recommendations based on what I had told him and he persevered with a genuine desire to help until I was totally satisfied. Great work. I will be back!

Great service and advice from Lachlan. He was quick and chose a good selection of shoes, and was very passionate and informed. Had only a slight idea of what I was after so discussed this with him, had my feet measured and the walk and pressure tests done and was out of there 15 minutes later with a new pair of shoes. Would definitely go back for my next pair.

Had a great experience here today. I’ve bought NB runners from the AF for many years with zero issues. This week I noticed my new pair of fresh foams, (a month old) had lost adhesion of the grip to the sole of the shoe. The team replaced the shoes on the spot and were so easy to deal with. I could not be happier.

We were very impressed with the Service, attention to details and care to our needs from the staff. The snickers are very comfortable. Not sure how long they will last but the fact that I was able to walk and even dance in them the day I bought them, is worth the money I paid.

No stars but had to give 1 ...sat with 2 children for a hour at a peak time , didnt have sizes so had to order in with manager of the store ....on returning a week later lost order and all paperwork sit for another sitting again and then they do not have sizes again

Thursday night, I was served by Keaton. I found his manner and customer service skills impeccable. With a store full of people, he gave me his undivided attention. It is people like that which you hire is the reason that I have been a customer for so many years.

I recently ordered a pair of Asics not kept in store. The store made sure I was kept upto date on the order. The staff is so welcoming and I found the whole experience worthwhile. I will continue to support this store and the staff at Athletes Foot Modbury.

The special machine that scans your feet makes selecting the right shoe easy. The staff are well informed about their product and there is a great range to.chooae from. I've recently visited here twice and bought shoes for myself and my son.

Visited and bought a pair of the Brooks beast 20 .Had enough with other oppositions asking up to $1500 for a pair. The staff are so caring and genuine in the way they actually reach out and treat you as a human being. Thanks for your help

The sneakers I got just over 6 month ago, are falling apart. The mesh inside the shoes is all rotting away. As well as the end/ side of the shoe is falling apart. I pay GOOD money for these shoes but they don't even last over 6 month.

Only found out on the weekend they don’t price match! Most places do these days. Unbelievable , so I went elsewhere to buy the shoes I wanted for a cheaper price! Unfortunately for them will lose a lot of customers with that policy.

Geoff was fantastic. My husband generally dislikes shoe shopping but this was a great experience. He had multiple options for his large size and the pair of Asics are perfect.

They have sophisticated systems to measure your feet and look at how you walk the pressure points. They fit you to the best shoe for your feet. Which ultimately protects them.
