Barebones is a beautiful balcony bar located in the heart Indiranagar. Visited the outlet on a Thursday evening and was surprised to find it quite crowded for a weekday. It's a two storey building and quite spacious to fit in big crowds. The balcony seats are my personal favourite though! So blissful to look out and sip your favourite cocktail, no? Apart from the vibe which is laid back and fun, the pub serves the most impressive array of cocktails and food. Here are some of the colorful and tasty cocktails and lip smacking food we tried: •Burning My Heart- amazing (SPICY) vodka based cocktail with actual chilli in the drink. • Chicken 65- typical Andhra style chicken, which was flavourful and spicy. • Butter garlic Prawns- so tasty! • Paneer steak with rice- never thought a vegetarian steak could taste so good!! • Lamb Shank with mash potatoes and grilled veggies- so tender... almost melted in my mouth. • Paneer tikka- super moist, well cooked. Loved it. • a round of tequila shots - just the party mood setter. • tangdi kebab- huge pieces(leg) of marinated meat when slow cooked results in this goodness. Delicious! •Pigs in a blanket- one of the based in the city. Cooked to perfection. Also special mention would be the amazing main course: Butter chicken, Daal Makhni, garlic naan. ♥️ At par with proper dhabe Ka Khana! For dessert we tried the Gulaab jamun, choco lava cake, brownie with ice cream ...pretty basic but yummy. Barebones also has a lot of recreational games on the first floor like TT, fooseball etc so enjoying a game over a glass of beer is a great option here. The chef took personal care and came out to speak to us about the food and to take feedback which I personally think is very rare. Our servers for the night Manjunath and Yogesh were prompt in their service, very soft spoken and knowledgeable of the menu! Very happy with the experience! :)

Went to the balcony bar for a friend’s bday yesterday (20th May, 2023). Left right after the starters to eat in some other restaurant. We placed our order at 1:40 PM (Three starters) and received the final one at 2:40 PM (the restaurant was not packed and we were the second people to arrive during lunchtime and place the order). First one starter came (long wait for that too; even though we placed the order for three starters together), then half of the second starter came and we were 8 people so four people started eating while the other four waited for the second half to arrive (second half came after a long delay). Then finally the third starter arrived at 2:40 and we were done. Weren’t sure how long the main course would have taken so decided to go off to another restaurant to have lunch. One thing to note here: Despite the crazy delay during a “not so packed” restaurant during lunchtime, the food was indeed delicious… no complaints about that. The restaurant staff were courteous and their service was good. Not sure if they were short staffed in the kitchen that day (surprising since it was a Saturday); Would probably decide to give it another try because the taste was indeed good. But waiting for a long time for your starters, one hour plus that too when it’s not packed… not okay with that.

Barebones is a wonderful place to hangout with friends, family etc. Located in the main hub of Bangalore, this place is a must visit. Barebones is a two storey bar/restaurant, the ground floor is mainly for non smoking area. Once you go upstairs, it’s a different vibes and very cool ambiance and bar. They even have a table tennis and foosball to play just in case you wanna take a break from your food or drink. They have different types of seatings setup too. I’m a teetotaller, so enjoyed my mocktail and my friends enjoyed their cocktails, shots and beer. In food, the chicken 65 was good, I love love the pork in a blanket, the chicken tangdi was delicious. The pizza was amazing and crust was good. I did try the paneer too and taste amazing. In main course, I love their lamb shank, the meat was tender and tasty. In desserts, the chocolate bomb is the bomb indeed! The Gulab jamun was soft and not over sweet and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Love the food and experience in this place, especially the staff were amazing and so friendly and kind. Really like to mention Manju and yogesh cause they know how to take care of the customers and to meet the need of their palate. Would love to go back again soon!

It’s like a hidden gem in indiranagar. It will be not fancy but it is a very good place to hangout with your friends. It is an open place bar so you can smoke in your table only. On that day my booking in Jook Taproom is cancelled by the restaurant and we want to have food and drinks very badly that day do we started exploring in indiranagar we got to see this place and immediately it gives a good impression to us. So, we entered there and ordered beer and chicken wings those and very good in taste and reasonable in price regarding the quantity they provided. In drinks we also tried some of there special cocktails and beer cocktails also those and very good and alcohol consistency on those cocktails is very good. Now come to food, we ordered crispy mushroom in manchurian sauce, stuffed mushroom, jerk chicken and chili garlic prawn, every dish has good quantity and taste is also very good. I recommend everyone to try this place you will not get disappointed and i want to visit this place again.

Chicken Wings

Reviewing only Foods not drinks. Dishes: Paprika Wedges. Penne Arabita, Chicken Manchurian, Barebones Wings, Paneer Steak, Peri Peri Grilled Chicken. Paparika Wedges were the only dish I liked completely. It's having proper salt and spice. The roasted onions enhanced the flavor. A little crispy must try quick bite. Barebones Wings was sweet. Slightly disappointed with this dish. Nothing to tell more about this. Chicken Manchurian which was served with fried rice. Again sweet taste chicken. Both fried rice and curry had number of chicken pieces. Might be sufficient for a person not good for sharing. Not at all worth for the price. Peri Peri Grilled Chicken was better than other non veg dishes that we ordered. The mashed potatoes with Chicken was something new I have tried. I loved it. Panner Steak wasn't that interesting food for me. Tatsed average. Nothing specific to tell. Pasta. Please No!! There are lot of places you can get good Pasta. Please move on. Totally don't know about drinks but not at all worth for food. If no Zomato Gold there, we would have regretted to choose this place.

The best part at The Balcony Bar was the seating, we had a small table in the beginning and asked to move us to a big one and they did in a minute. That was very great given that we were there on a Saturday evening with all the crowd. The food was awesome. We liked the Nachos and Pesto Pasta. Cocktails are priced the way they should be given the quality being top notch. I must say this, Shweta was very courteous and friendly, she was fast, available whenever we wanted to order and made us feel like we were having drinks and food at our home pleasantly. Music was a bit off, but going forward they could learn and play some good ones. That's why 4 stars, apart from that it was a great Saturday evening for me and my friend. I would recommend this for a simple yet pleasant few drinks and food with your friends. Totally worth! Don't look at negative reviews, few people always find it hard to look at things as they are and enjoy

Barebones is one the best options to chill in Indiranagar at a reasonable price. Cost for two would be around 1500 while most of the places cost more than 2000 at any given day. It is quietely tucked on the highly competitive 100 feet road after the KFC signal. Visited this place a couple of times now and recently again. The ambience is chic along with 5 star service. The only bothering thing is the food here. The food can be a lot better. Ordered French Fries, Chilly Chicken, Chicken Nachos, Grilled Chicken Pizza(Yeah that's a lot of chicken). Although the food wasn't great, really liked the gesture of Mr. Santhosh (Head Chef) to come over and talk to us after we gave our feedback about the food. That's what genuine people and professionals do. As a safe option one can go for the pizzas. I had the chicken Grilled Pizza which was the best thing I had in the evening. Cheers!

Have entered Barebones on a Wednesday night around 8PM. A table was reserved for me as I have already done the booking via dineout. The balcony area have been occupied with some people and no crows seen inside as well. I had been provided with a non balcony seat and it was nearer to the sports screening which I liked. Staffs were polite and very attentive all the time. I have ordered "Mutton Shank With Mashed potatoes &Veggies" which was a main course. It took around 15 minutes and I was presented with an amazing tasteful dish. I loved it to the core. Mutton was cooked with perfection as it retained with the jucinees and softness. The sauce, mashed potatoes and veggies were also lipsmacking!! At around 9.30 while I was leaving, the place started beefing up and almost all the tables were occupied. It's a good place and a must try for a pleasant evening !

This beautiful balcony bar located in Indiranagar is truly a delight to visit. With indoor seats , the extra special balcony seats ( Perfect seats for a date with your bae) and romantic ambience sets this place ahead of others. They sell straight drinks at a very reasonable price which is truly a bargain in a place like Indiranagar. Food here is delicious with excellent service. We tried Tangri Kebab, Butter Garlic Prawns and Pigs in a Blanket and all of them were made to perfection. If you are someone who loves doing shots ,this place shouts 'welcome to heaven' as they have a dedicated menu for shots with lots of varieties , which includes tequila shots, vodka shots, whisky shots and many other. They also have excellent cocktails and mocktails. So friends visit this lit place and get yourself a pair of wings.

In a Nutshell: Ruined experience. We were a company of about 80+ people, advance corporate booking for lunch. Food: The smell of stale palmolien oil was nauseating. Excessively crusty and unnecessarily salty food. Ambience: is a cosy place but that's about it. Bar: Mocktails were just colored watery drinks with ice. Nothing special. Service: This was worst part of the entire experience. The service staff were inequipped to handle the crowd. No organisation skill of any sort. Lacked sutlety and politeness. Management: Deaf ears!! They have no clue about good-will or what it means to run a hospitality business. Blatantly refusing food to customers. You are not serving charity food that you can refuse to serve after accepting the order.

This is a balcony resto bar, with good balcony view seating setup and great ambiance the place provides for a great rendezvous. A bit on the costlier size cusine have continental varieties and range of pizza, burger, sandwich. As they are know for mostly providing all kinds of alcoholic beverages again a bit on the costlier end. Service is average and presentation of food with side dishes is a nice touch. There is a bar counter, light music, and also a television to visit during your favourite sports fiesta. Its located right on the 100ft main road, walkable distance from the metro. Although i felt the food isn't that tasty, it's just average. The veg burger felt like a huge vada pav, and my friends agreed as they tasted it. So, if you booze you might be having more fun.

I would say this is one of the best restro bars not in terms of vibe and crowd as there you won't be getting fancy crowds because smoking is now allowed but that's the beauty of it. The taste is really good and the prices are also very generous. If you are looking for a place to hang out with friends and you don't wanna experience passive smoking this can be your go to place. Been to this place on Valentine's day. This was my first visit. I happened to visit this place in a very unplanned way. As I was roaming around Indira Nagar to find a good cozy place to take my valentine on a dinner date, I couldn't find anything else open at 11.P.M that day and graced it. But definitely it was worth a visit as we had the best time, best food, best place and best service by the way. We had few starters like peri peri fries , jalapeno pops and paneer. And all of these were very tasty. The place and the ambience are also well maintained with respect to that day's concept of Valentine's Day. I would recommend this place for many reasons and the best reason is the food. Never doubt the taste and experience.

It's a small place on first floor. Balcony section is decent but small and all seats get taken early in evening. The rest of bar decor is minimal and not so great. The south Indian starters are quite good. The cocktails could be much better. Appletini was too sweet and syrupy. Beer selection was less than menu but good. The service was great and redeems the place to a degree.

Nice place to hangout with friends, place is not very big but is structured to accommodate decent crowd. When we visited it was bollywood night and they were playing some nice music which went well with the mood, food and drinks.. Their draught beer tasted much better than few other more hyped places.. Overall, good place to visit with not too heavy on pocket..I recommend this place

Had a night out at this place last week and we liked the place. It has open and under shade both options available. It was not too crowded. We liked the food, quantity and quality were good. Taste was good too. Drinks were served promptly, food took a bit longer but that was alright considering it was a packed night for them. Overall a nice place to have good food and spend some relaxing time. On another note, the person who was roaming around checking all the tables and sometimes talking to customers, seemed like a teacher guarding exam hall, lol.

It's a bar and restaurant , so you can extend your breakfast outing into afternoon cocktails with friends . . Barebones - The Balcony Bar This place located on 100 feet Road Indiranagar. I heard a lot about this place. The best part is the ambiance nd interior, went to this place first time. Let’s talk to food, We had chilli garlic noodles, chicken wings, Biryani, peri peri basa, prawns. Dessert chocolate lava cake. Food was tasty nd everything was perfect. The staff was unprofessional nd very slow service, I wish the management to work on it. Definitely recommend this place and Will come back for sure with friends.

Yes, it is an alternative place for Toit. Most of the time you would get a place there. There is a balcony but that's a smoking zone. As soon as you set you are given ashtray. The taste of the food is normal. There was no item which was like a finger licking. A decent place with moderately loud music.

Relaxed place to chill with friends over food and drinks. Service was quick and efficient, staff was courteous. Prices are reasonable. Chairs can do with better cushioning as it can get very uncomfortable after a while. Some chairs are bare metal too. Overall, this is a quiet place to unwind with friends, would recommend.

Good place to hangout with friends and family. Recently they have renovated or occupied more space. To expand their sitting space which is quite good and nicely made. The crowd is decent but the other half which is newly built is quite boring, good for large groups. I like their service it's fast and convenient. Overall it's a good place to spend time with family and friends.

It's an excellent place. The service is impeccable. We were a group of 20 people and all of us were looked after very well. The food was great. The cocktails were nice. They serve Toit beers too. And the chicken kebabs were excellent. And in the end they gave us a 10% discount too!

Had dinner from here on a weekday, so there was less crowd. The ambience is really nice, and staff was quick to respond. They had open and under shade seating options, but number of seats are limited. Food was good for the price. Also they had IPL matches on screen so we could enjoy the matches while having food. Overall a good budget friendly option in the area.

I loved this place. It was worth it to have lunch here. The service was totally disciplined and in good mannar. The food quality was also very good. And i would like to visit.

It's a good place to start your weekend with. And they have very friendly and sweet staff. I wish I could write more about them since they do not have much options for vegetarians I just got to eat fries and nachos ! But I had been there with my non-vegetarian friends, they found it quite a good place. If you are a non-vegetarian you can try this place once !

It's really very good restaurant that I have visitedalso the staff and waiters are very nice & polite if talking about food quality it's awesome and delicious ..I had a kitchen tour also seriously it was very clean hygienic..I would recommend to everyone for a wonderful experience

We recently visited this bar with team for a lunch! Ambiance looks great, with happy, smiling and active staff! We ordered couple of veg and non veg snacks and main course. Veg dishes were well presented and tasted well, similarly with the non veg dishes I think ;) We enjoyed are lunch here and I recommend this Balcony bar for atleast one visit!

Been 1st time over there...! It's was a quiet afternoon ... No such rush, place was good.. decent environment, staff was friendly, food was good but took time to serve but that's okay... Well we had some french fries Peri peri, along with mini chicken burgers, chicken tandoori toast with some some Budweiser Magnum... It's was good..worth it..

This place is an obvious alternative when we dont get place in Toit. They serve same beer which we get in Toit and the atmosphere is decent enough. Food is also good and can definitely try once if you are in a long wait for Toit brew pub.

My go to place when in Bangalore. Was there the last weekend. Food is good. Wood fired pizzass are a must try there . Service is quick and the staff is very friendly. Weekend gets packed and you must book a table. I prefer sitting in the balcony area. Offers are plenty like 2 plus 1 on cocktails and beer . See you back soon

This is an good place to spend the evening with your family and friends. It has many beers listed in it's menu but only 2-3 are available. Jhenga prawns bhel puri is very nice. Usually there's a no wait time for to get a table. Pizza's are of poor quality and undercooked. It's centrally located but a mess in the inside!

Been there for team buffet lunch, they can't handle more crowd. Waited tooo long to get welcome drink, starters were over by the time we were in queue and varieties are very limited, imagine the situation for main course and desserts.

Been a regular customer for some time. For most, it’s been good. But……. Today I got to know how some of the staff have no idea about customer satisfaction and also no idea how to behave in front of customers. Avoid the place a Friday night. BAD !

The place has a decent balcony. We ordered Pesto Pasta and it was amazing. Wood fire pizza was also a good serve. Overall the ambience is great and the price is reasonable. The owner was a friendly guy who let us click as many pictures as much we wanted The staff were prompt and courteous. …

Really glad for this place, the only place that let us in to watch the Liverpool vs United game. The atmosphere is great and a good place to bring your friends and have a good time and watch a game

The music was baaaaad (old Bollywood remix) and did not match the ambience or setting. The food was average although the rates were pretty high. The waiters and service men seemed rude/moody/stoned.

Didn't really enjoyed the food here. The location,service and drinks are good. However I'd suggest you to order or have food from elsewhere. There are multiple options in that area anyway. Even the pizza wasn't upto the mark and lacked taste! Chicken wings were find thought. …

It was Sunday night, the non smoking zone was empty but the balcony bar was full. The food was yummy, ambience is okay not so great. Service takes a lot of time, you can play fooseball until your oder arrives. Food 4.5/5 Ambience 3/5 Service 3.5/5 Value for money 3.5/5

The nachos are nice...good wholesome burgers...with decent crisp fries!!! The moctails were just OK...the chicken tikka was well marinated but slightly over done...the chicken satay was juicy and tender... The arrabiata was good!! In all the food experience was good...

A beautiful space, interesting interiors, and excellent food and drinks. Their service is very good and very cordial staff as well. But of course like most other bars this one was very noisy too. Note: they communicate very clearly that they levy 7.5% service charges.

The service was great! The waiters were polite and explained the menu well, but the food was horrendous. It was difficult to complete whatever little we ordered. The beer was good.

Pretty decent place. Service is quick and good. Visited on Sunday lunch time so it was not that crowded. Place doesn't look like very fancy though.Night view will be good my assumption.Food is good and tasty.. Overall a nice place to hangout with friends.

What a wonderful place. I loved almost everything about the place. Food was so yummy. Service was great. Staff is so polite and friendly. Zomato gold membership saved my money too. They have good discounts on weekdays. Totally loved it the experience.

Good Ambience. The quantity of food was more comparatively. Food was delicious. Staff were quick and attentive. This place looks big in pictures but its not a very huge place. They play amazing old English music. I used 10% off on zomato pro here

The Balcony Bar is a good place to chill out with friends and family. It is usually not too crowded and the music is not too loud which is a great advantage. The food is good and reasonably priced.

Location is very near to indiranagar metro station, they have two floors of seating area n one of them is smoking area. Food is good but not the quantity. Staff is attentive and it gets crowded on weekends.

It's a good place for a Sunday brunch or just to catch up with your friends. The food taste is good and the staff is very courteous. Also, they serve Toit craft beers along with their regular drinks menu.

Pleasantly surprised. Good bar, great atmosphere. Low music so easier to converse. Food is OK. Parking is a nightmare. But a great location. Try it once for an evening with your inner circle.

Great food and pretty ambience. The music collection is superb. It's a great place to visit. The quantity is quality of food is really good. Absolutely amazing!

Drinks are good. Food is also spicy and good. Ambience is decent. Road facing tables are my liking. Valet parking is available but it's bit kind of an issue.
