If I could give them zero stars, I would. Went there for an office function on a Wednesday afternoon. This was the experience: 1) I was first to arrive and waited for quite a while without being asked to be seated (didn't time it but felt like forever with employees just looking at me). 2) Finally got to order, and my supervisor and I ordered the steak sandwich. Server did warn us that, potentially, they may be out of steak sandwiches and asked for an alternate, which is fair, this can happen. I then provided a second option of fish and chips. The server comes back and says 'I have some bad news. We are out of the steak sandwiches. Then looks at me and says 'and we are also out of the fish and chips'. Uhmm...what? It was a Wednesday afternoon, with an Oiler game that night. The server THEN proceeds to say 'yeah it was weird, like 10 people came in here yesterday and ordered 10 steak sandwiches!'....well that's not weird, it's on your menu... and do you only carry 10 steaks at a time? Who does your ordering that you run out of food on a Wednesday afternoon?? 3) I then ordered a beef dip and it tasted AWFUL (was supposed to have fries with it, but they were missing, so we had to let the server know, which was strange because we had TWO beef dips and BOTH had a side of gravy...not rocket science). A co-worker had the salmon poke bowl and her rice was hard. 4) The music was so loud no one could hear anyone talk. All I can say is the server should feel lucky it wasn't me covering the bill because I would have given a big fat $0 for it. I am a very good tipper when the experience and service is top notch, and I understand that the server was not responsible for the lack of food, however, this all trickles down. I would never recommend anyone go there, nor would I ever return. That was possibly the worst experience I've had in a restaurant in years. For being in the Ice District, The Banquet, DO BETTER! You're in a busy area, you're downtown and likely to have a lot of customers. BE PREPARED! smh

Not worth it and will not go back. So my boyfriend and I decided to try this place on July 2nd. When we walked in there was a blonde girl who just stared at us didn’t even say hello or show us where we can sit. So we eventually found ourselves a place to sit and tables were dirty. We ordered drinks to start and my boyfriend ordered a Mojito but they didn’t put the mint leaves. The waitress was nice enough to offer a different drink and promised she will refund the Mojito. We decided to try the items on the happy hour menu. The food was good but here is the good part! We got the bill, paid and realized that they overcharged us and they did not refund the Mojito. My boyfriend paid using his card. I called the waitress and she apologized then went to process the refund. She came back with cash in her hand and said she’ll give us the refund amount in cash!! and she kept the receipts. This didn’t sit well with me . We took the cash refund and at this point we were done with this place. So after the whole circus we were finishing our drinks and they turned off the lights on us 45 minutes before it was closing time. I walked out still finishing my drink and the same very blonde girl was waiting at the door and no bye, thank you etc. This place is not worth the hype. Do not waste your time and money there’re better places where you’ll get better food and service.

Visit: April 2023 x2 I visited at night (10pm) on Tuesday for wings night after seeing an advertisement for $0.39/lb wings. We didn't need to order drinks either and the wings were very good. The flavours of wings that we got, in order of best tasting (in our opinion) is: smoked all dressed, smoked buffalo gochujang, traditional lemon pepper, traditional Canada red. We found that the smoked wings were super good, with a ton of flavour and seasoning, adding a lot of depth of flavour in comparison to traditional wings. Even so, the traditional wings were really good too. There were a couple of wings that were a little try though. At the price of wings night, it was excellent! The atmosphere was amazing too, with really nice decorations and aesthetics around, as seen in some of the photos. They have a lot of activities as well (shuffle board, ping pong, bowling, etc.), which we saw from exploring the big area. Also, we were told that on the weekend, they have a DJ and they clear out an area as a dance floor! Customer service was also really good. We were checked on multiple times thoughout our dine in experience and the waitress was very kind. Overall, love the wings night and will definitely be back for more. I hope that they keep the wings night and the pricing of it the same.
We really wanted to like this place because they had promoted their 39c wing night. However we were very disappointed in the service, and the food. It was hard to find at first, and then when we arrived it took us about 10 min before someone gestured that we could sit anywhere. Our table was dirty. Service was so slow and our waitress seemed miserable. I asked my party if we could leave about 3x but they wanted to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. Lots of items on the menu sounded really good, but once we got our food it was very disappointing. Not much flavour, so we asked for extra sauce, which we never got. Service was extremely slow Im sure we could have walked out at any time and no one would notice. The only redeeming factors was of course the location in the Ice District, and the decor was unique.

I made a reservation roughly 6-8 weeks in advance for a bachelorette party, held this past Saturday. We were excited for our evening, but upon arrival discovered there were a couple of private events booked, and we were basically segregated to a small corner of the restaurant. When we attempted to walk around, grab a drink from the bar, and mingle, we were told that the area was closed for a private event, and they would not serve us, and basically told us to go back to our section. We also were unable to use the bowling alley, because the entire thing was rented out for the event. It was extremely disappointing and really not the experience we had in mind for a bachelorette party. I called several weeks before the event to confirm my reservation and that would’ve been a wonderful time for them to inform me of these private events, giving me the option to cancel and book elsewhere where we would be treated like valued guests. The servers we had at our table were wonderful, and they did not treat us any differently. The problem was that we weren’t able to leave our section and we didn’t intend to come here to sit at a table for the entire evening, and not be able to move around and mingle. Super disappointed.
Came here before the hockey game with a friend. Booked reservations because we knew it would be busy. Mondays night special was happy hour all day. My friend and I ordered everything from the happy hour menu. When we got the bill, no happy hour prices were applied. The explanation we got from our service was that on game days-happy hour isn’t valid… when I asked where this info was, she said it was online (I’ve searched online and I still don’t see where it says that) Regardless I didn’t order from an online menu so I’m not sure how I would’ve known this.. on top of that, our serve knew we ordered everything off the menu and didn’t disclose that info when we were ordering. I understand it was busy- but a little better customer service would be appreciated, maybe they could’ve taken the time to tell us that. Information provided on a website is not helpful when you aren’t ordering from the menu online. And I truly believe our serve should’ve spoke up and said something when we ordered everything from the happy hour menu. Would’ve been nice to know prior to ordering.

The food here is like your basic pub food but the taste is on a different level. Came here after an Oil Kings game - we shared a bunch of appies. The crispy chicken sliders are an absolute MUST! Crunchy, spicy, soft bun and delicious sauce - it was magical! We also shared the Buffalo mushroom caps - a little underwhelming but only because I thought they'd be crispy - the sauce is quite tasty. We also shared fried cheese and one other dish that i can't remember but the best part was the deep fried Mars bar. Oh jeez if you eat ANYTHING there, have the Mars bar! It is SO GOOD!!!! The breading is light and crunchy, it offsets the overly sweet of the chocolate, and it comes with some delicious vanilla ice cream. So good you really won't want to share (but you could! It's a decent size) The service was quick, friendly, and our server was able to recommend items from the menu that we really enjoyed. Great drink selection and the atmosphere is AWESOME! Love the cassette walls, the speakers at the entrance and everything else about the decor. 10/10 for sure! Go eat there!!
I absolutely hate to be harsh because it was a very busy evening, prior to a concert. It is however disappointing to spend so much, just to have wait 30 minutes plus for our first drink and not get our second drink until well after our food was finished. Another big disappointment was for one of us to get our meal more than 10 minutes before the second person. There were only two of us so I don’t understand why the meals could not have arrived together. It was at a minimum 45 minutes to get our food, so to not get them at the same time was puzzling. We did not complain as we did expect the crowds, so expectations were pretty low, yet the wait times were actually shocking. We really felt bad for our server as she seemed flustered, mentioning that someone didn’t show up for their shift and she apologized multiple times. Both of us enjoyed the quality and taste of our meals and because of that, we would come again, but definitely not before a concert or event.

We booked a reservation 2 hours before puck drop. Party of 6 hoping to celebrate 4 birthdays. Ordered drinks and food only to find out that there was an "issue" with the kitchen. We were okay with a bit of a delay, had another round. 15 Minutes before the puck drop, and after waiting an hour at 45 minutes, we were told that the food wasn't coming at ALL. The waitress never followed up with our order and we were confused as everyone around us was getting food and already finished and left. We were getting frustrated at this point. We told them we had to leave, without getting our food, the bill came in and was totally wrong. At this point we asked to speak to a manager, he apologized with no real explanation as to how this could possibly happen. He got down one of our numbers and said he contact us to make it right, we are yet to hear from him. I would think twice about going here before an event at Rogers, why offer so many tables if you can't serve them?

I don't even know where to begin. It's extremely loud even the kids said so. They have 4 bowling lanes, some darts, and some weird wheel you can spin. 30$ an hour on the weekend for bowling +5$ shoe rental per person.... That's over 50$ an hour for a family of 4 just to bowl. That doesn't include food or drinks. Needless to say we didn't bowl. The drinks were ok but they are mostly 2oz cocktails so about 14$ for one. It wasn't very busy but our drinks went empty multiple times. The food was mediocre unfortunately. When the food did come one person at the table had to wait a really long time for some pasta and we were all almost finished by the time it came. The pasta was dry. The pizza was a bit soggy. The buffalo mushroom caps were poorly covered and very uneven. It's not worth what they are charging from my experience. This won't be on our places to bring the kids again unfortunately.

Walked in for a celebration of a friends birthday. We thought the environment was open, warm, and inviting. Sadly, that's where our fun ended.. we soon found out that despite their impressive display of beverages, they cannot even make a simple rum and coke as the server told us they don't carry coke- for anyone who has any taste in drinks beyond bud light, this speaks volumes... the wife ordered a bottle of Heiniken and received a half-flat glass of a black label beverage that somewhat resembled heineken (we passed it around, everyone agreed it was not heineken).. we didn't bother looking at any other menus and left shortly after. Sadly, like everything else in the glamorous ice district, this place is overpriced and leaves much to be desired for the price point. I'll give a star above our experience as we didn't even look at the food menu, but our friend said their appetizer was "ok".

Last Saturday my girlfriend and I had a disappointing experience at your establishment. We were hopeful for a pleasant evening, but unfortunately, encountered an employee named Cody who displayed a complete lack of professionalism and rudeness. While I was briefly in the restroom, Cody had the audacity to tell my girlfriend that she needed to find another server and refused to assist her. This behavior was not only strange but completely unacceptable. As a result of Cody's actions, we felt disrespected and promptly decided to leave the establishment without receiving any service. It is disheartening to see an employee representing your establishment in such a negative manner. We hope that you take this incident seriously and address the issue appropriately to ensure that other customers do not have to endure similar treatment in the future.

This place was not great at all , I would definitely not recommend going here. It’s nice inside and food was okay. However service was horrible. Our waitress did not come to serve us for about 20 mins , after that we waited for our food for about 45 mins for our appetizers and then another 30 mins for our main meal. (I would 100% understand if the restaurant was busy however our waitress had time to chat with her coworker and sit there) there was also two tables after us who got served and left before us. Also there was only roughly 10 tables Also keep in mind, we not once have our waitress ask how our food was and or if we were needing anything.. We came here for $.39 cent wings and after 10 wings each we were told they ran out at 8 Pm ….. overall it was definitely a waste of money and time which is really disappointing because of how nice their restaurant looks

Went here for Tuesday wing night at 7 PM. The store was not that busy. Upon ordering, they told us that they were out of wings. Which is questionable but okay. So we ordered some food from the menu. 1. Nachos + chicken + guacamole • Nachos were so cold • You can count the chicken on the nachos • They didn't have guac but still charged us for it • Chips were so soggy 2. Mac and Cheese • Again, food was cold • Flavourless • Tasted like white rice • So expensive for no reason • Portion the size of a saucer 3. Margherita Pizza • Expensive for no reason • Taste was subpar Aside from the food, the service was horrible. People were lining up on entrance but none were taking care of them. Sat for 20 minutes and no one helped us. Every time someone helps us, no one will help us for another 10 minutes.
Terrible experience there last night. We were the only group (6 people) there for the first hour. The moment a group of younger, drunk people arrived we were completely forgotten about. Our waiter would disappear downstairs repeatedly for 20 minutes at a time. The food was terrible, cold and stale. A few of our dishes were “missed”, but happened to be brought out to us with the accompanying bill right when we were leaving. It took 20 minutes to get our bills and it was severely disappointing to say the least. Numerous times our group discussed just walking out because it was apparent we did not matter to the staff working. We will not be returning.

A group of us went about an hour after opening. Our cutlery was dirty it literally had food on it. The water glasses we received also had chunks of i don’t know what on it and service was slow. We all received our food after about 45 minutes of waiting only for my friends fries not be delivered with his burger. The waitress who also didn’t seem to be in the greatest of moods said that the fries were being dropped in the deep fryer. By the time his fries were delivered everyone was almost already finished their food. Service was shabby, utensils and glasses with food on them. 10/10 would not recommend.

We hit up Banquet every Tuesday for wings after work (39c a wing - $4 per pound). Such a sleeper spot, never busy when we go but the wings are phenomenal (get them smoked). Gochujang Buffalo are the best, have tried them all. 12 bucks for a pound of wings and a beer - not bad in this market. 16 bucks for 2 pounds and a beer, can't beat that. Service is always great, would just love to see more bodies in the seats! Plus, discounted bowling on Tuesdays so it's definitely a fun spot. Highly recommend.

Went before the game on Saturday, the food and beer were good. Service was a little disappointing, friend had ordered a salad with their meal but got fries. The server (not ours) said they would get a salad out right away. It took over 15 minutes and we had finished our meal by the time it came out. In that 15 minutes our server came by to check on us we mentioned to her we were waiting on a salad she said she was aware and walked away. She seemed very disinterested and not overly concerned. Overall the food is good and good selection of beer. Great place to eat before the game- but beware very loud in there and really warm!
Checked out The Banquet last evening with some friends and WOW - what a great place! The vibe was awesome. Super clean. Great beer selection. Burger and kettle chips were delicious. But the absolute best part was our server (I think she said her name was Katy). Incredibly friendly!!! Made great food recommendations. Was totally accommodating with my wife's drink order. She was definitely the highlight of our experience! We will certainly be coming back and bringing more people with us.

Banquet is fine. Their food is good but not amazing. This place is pricy cause it’s in the ice district so if you’re going for a beer here instead of say Home and Away or anywhere on 104 ave you’ll pay more. They wanted $69.99 an hour for bowling which we felt was just wild for a price. Overall it’s not 3 stars cause it’s bad, it’s 3 stars cause the price is very high and beer selection is very limited compared to alternatives nearby and because of the lack of games (deer hunter, basketball, golden tee) and bowling. They also have ping pong, darts, and one shuffle board if you’re into that sort of thing.
We grabbed electric scooters from 124st area and took the bikes lanes basically straight there. It was an impromptu decision to eat there and watch the Jays game. So glad we did! The staff were heavily training more team members to come onboard in advance to the hockey season starting up. Very cool atmosphere! Bet even better on a nice summers day!

We had lunch here with nothing going on downtown so it was super quiet. We really liked the decor and the booths are super comfy. The utensils were also pretty unique and service was good but a bit slow. We both had the poutines which overall were good and quite big but at $17 there's definitely not enough cheese. The sauce was really good and the fries were just a bit too crispy for our liking. We wouldn't order again due to the price and the lack of cheese. Will definitely come back though some other time for drinks and to try something else.
Got there on a Tuesday night after a concert and waited 5-10 minutes to be seated but no one came. Others behind us were just as confused so we all ended up seating ourselves. There were quite a few tables full but looked like only one waitress walking around so I had to approach a bartender to ask if we could be served. She said a waiter will come around shortly, which never happened, so we left. Please get a hostess or let customers know there will be a bit of wait if you are short staffed.

Great place to watch the game! The pizza is surprisingly really good. I went to the banquet on opening night, and it did not disappoint. Incredible atmosphere to watch the Oilers game. There are arcade games and a six-lane bowling alley which can keep you entertained between periods or while waiting for your food. The poutine was phenomenal. It was bursting with flavour and at a very reasonable price! Overall it was a great experience, especially for an opening night.

What an absolute find! Friends introduced me to this new place in the ICE District and I am thankful they did. Extremely well thought out from all aspects. I can see why it's so popular. The food is fantastic and served relatively quickly. It's definitely the staff who seat this place apart. Friendly, funny and genuinely appreciative of your business. I can't say enough positively about this place and to say I highly recommend this location is an understatement. Run. Don't walk. You won't be disappointed!
If I could give half a star or even zero stars, I would.. My fiancé and I were excited to try their wing night yesterday but once we got there, there was a sign stating that wings were sold out. Mind you it was only 8pm! Wing special starts at 4pm and you’d think that with a special going on and advertisements in place that they would have enough on hand and be prepared for a rush. What a disappointment!! We went to Joey’s instead.. food was great, service was excellent and no shortage of anything!
I am speechless to our waitress today. She came to us and ask us are you doing ok every twenty minutes and give us poker face whole night. We were already annoyed by her attitude. I couldn't find how to change tips percentage so I still gave her18%. But the worst thing is I found out she gave us wrong price. We were there after 9pm and she reminded us the happy hour discount, but eventually she charged us each cocktail tower84.99 which supposed to be 69.99. I won't recommend this place to anyone.
Was here for a surprise birthday party. The staff and good were awesome. Really nice for those who like to bowl as well as there are bowling lanes. Just found it very noisy and loud, probably as the place was very busy. Would recommend anyone to go to check it out. Location is good as you can park underground and walk across without going on the streets.

Went for bowling twice now. Lane 4 has 9 pins and you can’t get a strike or a spare so the scoring is bad. Lane 3 is the same issue. Has 10 pins but there’s a problem with the system and you cant get strikes or spares as one of the pins has an issue and doesn’t register. Nothing has changed in two weeks. Hopefully that gets fixed soon because $60 per hour to bowl and it doesn’t even function properly is pretty trash

Still waiting for food (ordered at 6:30pm, it's now 7:23pm and we're supposed to be at the game. Had to ask twice for an update. No manager in sight. You don't get a free ride as a restaurant just because you are in the middle of ice district....in fact...you'd best be at the top of your game! And if you have a venue of this size. You had better have the kitchen set up to to accommodate the load. Not impressed.

Cool venue with a neat atmosphere, service was great, we would definitely come back, but the food left something to be desired. My chicken sandwich was good but the chicken fingers were atrocious… and how the hell do you mess up chicken fingers? As best we could tell, we figure they were precooked ahead of big crowds since we came on game day. They came out of the kitchen very quick but somehow managed to be luke warm.
Obviously short staffed. Took 45 minutes to get our cocktails and had already been served the appie. We were headed to the concert so had to leave before our Main came out. Can't review the quality of the food, never really had any. This was our first visit and definitely will be our last.

The food was not worth the price. They don't do toast, they just burnt the bread on the grill. Yam fries were super salty. Steak was not the freshest, paired with a terrible cutting knife.

I love this restaurant. They got lots of TVs for you to watch sports game. The burger is delicious and the fries is awesome. It cost $20 ish. Great place to hangout before Oilers game.
Nice place! We had a lot of fun there and service is also nice. Google information of working hours is not available. Should be charged I guess.

Bowling ally was a bit smaller than most, but the location and the service were excellent. The manager on duty was amazing.

The best place by far in Edmonton to watch a hockey game, get a good beer and pig out on nachos. Believe it or not, you can even bowl here.
Fun night out. The decor and atmosphere are really fun, and you can bowl here. Also, there is a price is right wheel.
