Surgeon and surgical team were great, as were most of the nurses. Physio's also excellent. Not sure about the quality of operating rooms etc as had difficulty maintaining consciousness (thankfully) throughout the surgery. Was in a private room after surgery for 4 days 3 nights. Despite this it was a very noisy place, and near impossible to get a good nights sleep. There was no wifi available/working for patients which is supposed to be available. You can connect to the router, but the router does not have a service provider connected. I enquired with nurse who contacted IT etc but no resolution over the 4 days. The poorest aspect of this private hospital is the nutrition/food. Given the type of surgical procedures done, and the importance of recovery needed you might expect quality food to help recover. Unfortunately this is not the case. The protein sources were really poor (fake chicken breast that looked like white rubber sponge), as was the infrequency of the food. You often struggle to want to eat after/while recovering from surgery, so anything you can get down you should be high quality and support muscle/bone/energy recovery. A long way to go on the nutrition side of things for this hospital. My recovery once getting home doubled day by day, just because of ability to sleep without noise and high quality food.

This hospital is absolutely amazing. I’ve been in and out of hospital a lot over the last year so hospitals have become quite emotionally draining but the staff/team here are unbelievably compassionate, caring and empathetic. I had a kidney procedure done here and the atmosphere of the whole hospital made me super comfortable. I hope I remember her name right but my nurse Talisha was a literal god sent angel, one of the most amazing nurses i have ever had. I have never felt so comfortable with a nurse before she had such a pure and loving nature. Couldn’t recommend this hospital enough. The team here is outstanding. Thank you all so much. You are all amazing.

Today i admitted at The Bays for a lypoma removal (day procedure). The whole process was smooth and every staff member from administration to medical staff were very friendly, welcoming and overall lovely! Thankyou to everyone today i had an excellent experience and before i knew it i was asleep in theatre having a light sedation. I felt great when i woke up shortly after and no pain. Theatre is always a busy place but i never felt i was rushed as each medical staff explained and proceeded in a timely manner. A big hug for the new Graduate Nurse Vanessa! Thankyou for your care & such a lovely Nurse and wish you the best for the future!⚘

My partner was operated on by MrKeith Winters yesterday who is awsome and a brilliant surgeon .We can’t speak highly enough of all the staff ,nurses and catering team.The food is above standard for a hospital and is on par with a restaurant?This hospital is a hidden gem ,only last week I unfortunately had a terrible time at another Peninsula hospital where the food ,and service by the nurses was shocking .This hospital is the best Thankyou for caring and making us feel special when one is sick ?Lastly the Mr David Charlesworth for caring for my pain management and advice on recovery!A 5 star hospital

This is the best experience I have ever had at a hospital! From start to finish everyone was so so nice. My anaesthetic doctor and his nurse, my surgeon, the helpers in the room were all so kind caring nice and fun! A special shout out to Tabitha and Andy! Amazing nurses. From start to finish they were amazing and so much fun! I am so thankful I got blessed with such amazing nurses and for all my future operations I know which hospital I will be coming to if I get a choice! Thank you so much for everything. Best experience I have honestly ever had and I have had my fair share of operations.

Self funded paid in full over 3grand for nasal surgery and they tried to rip me off twice, first time they tried to charge me for an overnight stay even though I was in for a day surgery and left during the afternoon then they send me a invoice in the mail 2months later asking for $144 for Nose packing used during surgery...how dumb do you have to be to not include that in the estimate, every nose surgery has dressing and packing, I even looked up the brand of nose packing and it was only $30 to buy online. I will not be recommending this place to my social media follows and friends at all

I gave birth at The Bays and it was a fantastic experience. During my pregnancy I came numerous times to the Maternity Ward to check baby's heart rate and movements and the midwives were never ever frustrated or annoyed no matter how busy they were. Our stay at the Bays and my birthing experience were super positive and the midwives and our OB really set my husband and I up for success in our early days of parenthood. I would really and truly recommend this hospital very highly for expecting parents and it will always hold a special place for our family.

Awesome hospital for a high risk small baby - definitely coming back here for my third child. I regrettably went public with my first baby after hearing great stories from friends who had gone public. Unfortunately they were all up north but due where I live I was stuck at Clayton Monash and had a horrible experience. After that nightmare, I went private at the Bays Mornington for my second and was amazed. The Keith How is a fantastic ob and the midwives are wonderful, the food is great, the rooms are clean and there's free parking.

I want to acknowledge the wonderful care I have received over the last 4 days at The Bays Hospital. From the time I arrived in admissions to theatre , recovery and then onto the ward, the care has been very professional warm and caring. Mr Winters and his team have been tremendous, a very special thank you to the outstanding nurses on the Coolart ward, along with catering staff for really yummy meals , the environmental staff in keeping the room very clean and sanitised all your hard efforts have been very appreciated.

I can not fault The Bays Hospital at all. The staff were amazing. They did not skip a beat. They were so professional, they took care of my newborn and I in every way possible. I will most definitely be having my second baby there. They took care of us so well that I felt guilty. After my experience there I could see why the maternity unit is considered one of the finest in the country, and why Medibank Private customers awarded it as the Highest Rated Maternity Unit in Australia. I can not recommend The Bays enough.

I had hip surgery two days ago. I don't have enough words to praise about the care & service provided by surgical, admissions, theatre, recovery, ward and reception team. Special thanks to the Surgeon Parminder Singh, Emily, Emma, Victor, physio, recovery nurse & front reception staff who assisted me with my luggage (Sorry don't remember all the names). I had a great experience at The Bays Hospital last Friday for my wisdom teeth. Super quick experience, from the time I walked in 'til the time I woke up. Dr. Sam Verco nailed it! That being he got those nails out of my gums and I've had zero pain since waking up post op. You have a great team of admin and you nurses are funny as! I appreciate the professionalism and the banter. Good on you guys for keeping us so comfortable. Couldn't recommend more!

I had my first experience at The Bays Hospital on Thursday for a day surgery. I would like to thank Anna one of the nurses for helping me settle my anxiety over my admittance. Also nurse Noel who kept me entertained while waiting to go in to theatre. All the nursing staff including theatre staff were kind and caring. I have been a Day patient at The Bays Hospital three times now, the third being this morning for a minor procedure. I would like to compliment everyone from Reception to Admissions, volunteer (Ruth) to the efficient, friendly nurses, theatre staff, anaesthetist and specialist. It is a wonderful community-based hospital and they deserve every accolade for their services. Thank you for being there .

Went to get a scan done at I-Med. Covid phone app doesn't work when you arrive so you have to cue up. I tried it 3 times until reception staff logged me in. Just a tip for the staff. DON"T call people you don't know mate. And DON"T tell people that you have to do it all day when you mention that the phone app doesn't work. I suggest If you don't like the job get another one.

Unfortunately we spent a couple of days at the Bays hospital as my mum was passing away. The staff at the Bays couldn’t have been more accommodating to make sure my family, as well as my mum were well looked after and as comfortable as possible. Special thanks to the whole team, in particular Kerrianne who made the whole process that much easier for us. An amazing team!

I’ve been here 3 x times in the last few years for different procedures my children have had & this hospital is the best. The staff are all amazing & made us all feel so comfortable, going above & beyond. I’d love to work with them all myself haha!! I don’t have a bad word to say, won’t go anywhere else if we have a choice down the road✨

I cannot speak more highly of the staff and team at the Bays. I have unfortunately had several surgeries here, and they have always been great. After my most recent surgery I could not be happier of my treatment and of the way my situation was handled. I haven't been to The Bays since landscaping the court yards. This time was for a different reason but still a result of landscaping when I broke my leg back in 2019. Excellent experience here at The Bays. My wife had our second child here after having our first at a big public hospital a few years back. Not a dig at the public system but obviously the experience here was so much better. Everything from the obs appointments to the discharge was excellent. Could not fault any of it.

Just gave birth to my second baby here, my stay has been just as amazing as the first time. Would give 1000/5 stars if I could. The midwives and my obstetrician are the best of the best, food is heavenly, the rooms are so lovely, care & facilities are second to none. Feels like a little holiday stay!

I found myself unexpectedly in high care before Christmas, and in hospital for Christmas itself, during this time the staff were excellent, polite, and accommodating, when I was transferred to a ward room I found it to be clean and spacious and the same level of care continued.

I was recently in the "Coolart" wing of the Bays. Wow. Nice modern clean room. The staff were excellent. I had 4 nurses look after me during my stay. Lovely friendly knowledgeable staff. The check in/out staff were efficient and friendly. Well done.

I have just had my baby here and can not fault the service. As a first time mum the care from my OB and support from the midwives been extremely beneficial and exactly what I needed to start this new journey! Can not rate highly enough.

Really pleasant experience at The Bays Hospital. Everyone who I dealt with was so kind and helpful. I felt very well cared for and the sandwiches were great. They also followed up on me the next day which was very nice of them.

Had a relative there 18 months ago--------excellent she is back there March 2018, would recomend. Sadly our mother past away at 92, staff were just fabulous in every respect, [including understanding and support for the family]

One of the best hospitals I have been to. Spotlessly clean, polite efficient staff and punctual - they do not make you wait indefinitely like so many others who treat you like cattle.

Had a procedure on Tuesday 23 June, from the time I entered I was extremely well looked after, fully informed of procedings, lovely caring staff. Would recommend to all, WELL DONE

Very happy with the surgery peformed (Dental). Lovely admission ladies at front reception. Parking not an issue, plenty of available spaces, added bonus is, it's free parking.

My mum has attended this hospital many times for ultra sounds.The staff have been wonderful .The cafe is also a lovely place to have some lunch or a coffee.So welcoming here.
