  • "A little disappointed that The Big Tree was only 90m tall which seemed average for the trees grown in the area, or comparing to those with a much larger trunk such as The Ada Tree (near Baw Baw)"

"The walk to the tree is better than the tree, though it is still impressive"

"A bit of bush bashing to get to a tree that honestly doesn't look that big"

A little disappointed that The Big Tree was only 90m tall which seemed average for the trees grown in the area, or comparing to those with a much larger trunk such as The Ada Tree (near Baw Baw). Other than that, the walk is stunning, and I loved the change of forest towards the big tree - From a more open forest to a dense rainforest halfway. Worth the visit if you have 45 minutes to spare.

The walk to the tree is better than the tree, though it is still impressive. Quite a bush bashing walk, so you need to be fit and able. I think it's definitely worth the walk, just to take in the quiet surroundings. Be careful of bees - they chased us from the big tree!

A bit of bush bashing to get to a tree that honestly doesn't look that big. But the walk is enjoyable and pretty.

Its height must be more than 90 meters now in 2019. Amazing.
