A little disappointed that The Big Tree was only 90m tall which seemed average for the trees grown in the area, or comparing to those with a much larger trunk such as The Ada Tree (near Baw Baw). Other than that, the walk is stunning, and I loved the change of forest towards the big tree - From a more open forest to a dense rainforest halfway. Worth the visit if you have 45 minutes to spare.

并不是特别震撼的一棵树，远没有The Ada Tree 粗壮，尽管树龄差不多都是300多年，也不如离它几百米的The Elephant Tree粗壮。它的高度也不是很出彩，在这片雨林里面感觉有很多类似高度的大树，包括它对面那棵。但是，数据就是数据。且Ada在100年前断过（尽管那时候就比现在这棵树高），The big tree 依旧是当下最高。整片雨林很美，小径上多有厚厚的草甸。只不过走环线的话没有Ada tree walk 那么人性化，因为要穿过几百米的公路，才能回到原来的停车场。全程3km.一个半小时左右。

The walk to the tree is better than the tree, though it is still impressive. Quite a bush bashing walk, so you need to be fit and able. I think it's definitely worth the walk, just to take in the quiet surroundings. Be careful of bees - they chased us from the big tree!

A bit of bush bashing to get to a tree that honestly doesn't look that big. But the walk is enjoyable and pretty.

Its height must be more than 90 meters now in 2019. Amazing.
