Here you're more likely to find a genuine obscurity or the unfamiliar and at a reasonable price. The 'usual' music genres, fair depth of stock (noticeably in Psych & Prog), with a high incidence of 'clean' items. Spacious and informal with

Lots of new and used records and books. Raritys and collectibles. Also you can get a coffee and I think a beer there. I have in the past anyway. Dr Alex of the Orb sometimes broadcasts a set from there. It's a bit of a hub for WNBC radio.

Visited earlier this year and a few times subsequently. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. The selection of records are good, yet curiously expensive. There is no way to listen to records that catch one's eye and the older gentlemen

Great little shop. Some good finds for older records and a small selection of new records. The guys are super friendly and are often doing a radio show when I visit (which is cool). You can have a coffee as well which is nice.

Best record shop in London with regular events of the highest calibre. Immensely knowledgeable staff who will always take time to chat to you. Radio station WNBC transmits from the shop a couple of days a week.

Hell of a place - huge variety of vinyl and books, all curated by the expert, benevolent owner. And a 2022 update - been to a few live events and they are ALSO great. This store is an absolute treasure.

  • Niall Smith

Excellent selection of vinyl and books. If you can't find it ask Michael and he can dig it out for you. Great coffee as you dig. The soul nights and live bands are an extra touch. Best shop in London.

What a gem! Visited here earlier today and was amazed by the selection of records to hand and even the choice of books. So great to have places like this around, enjoyed that.

Lovely shop and lovely owner. I also recommend a better flow of air in the place. All windows always shut and no ventilation at all. I couldn’t stay longer as I wanted so.
