Nice food, good portions, expect to pay at least $40pp (meal + 1-2 drinks). I'd be happy to pay this amount for exceptional service, but we waited an hour for our food, on a Sunday morning that wasn't at full capacity. I'd reccomend The Bunker, Mulgoa, for groups of 6 or less. Anything over 6 and you'll find you're paying a lot of money to wait around for your food. Plenty of gluten free, vegetarian, dairy free, vegan options. Playground for kids. On hot days, opt to sit on the balcony or indoors. Also, don't bother with the milkshakes or smoothies. The banana & honey smoothie tasted like milk (no banana or honey), and the milkshakes also tasted like they had no flavouring. Stick to their coffees and iced coffees.

The food is this delicious and the venue is great! There is such a great choice of food, we ordered: - Schezwan Chicken Wings - Crispy Cauliflower - Sweet Chilli Squid - Slow Cooked Lamb Shoulder - Brussel Sprouts - Roasted Carrots - House Potato Fries - Apple & White Chocolate Cheesecake - Snickers Bar I loved all of these dishes, I don't think I can pick faves. The cauliflower was so tasty, the squid was perfectly cooked, the lamb just fell off the bone, I loved the beetroot with the roasted carrots. I could go on. Anne and her team are always so friendly and welcoming. No request is too much. The food is always fresh and delicious. It’s a cafe we go to regularly for breakfast and lunch. We are always asked how the meal was and encouraged to provide honest feedback. In the very rare instance things aren’t to our liking they are very open to the feedback and altering meals to our liking. If you like salmon I highly recommend the smoked salmon which accompanies the breakfast spread. Also great coffee.

Pretty underwhelmed by our visit to The Bunker Mulgoa. My partner and I have been in a bid to find the best eggs benny since our favourite Cafe closed over covid. The Bunkers version really missed the mark and is the second worst one we have found. The eggs were well cooked, bacon a little too crispy and the bernaise although a little untraditional was a welcome change. The brioche really brought it down. I was apprehensive at first with good reason as the brioche was too soft and sweet to go with a rich fatty meal like eggs benny. A toasted sourdough or Turkish with texture, bite and being savoury would fit the bill much better and in my opinion be worthy of the $25 price tag. That all being said staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Although a little slow to take our order, the food came rather quickly.

First time visiting the bunker Mulgoa , a quaint place off the Mulgoa road at Mulgoa, there was a sign out the front and parking on site. Friendly staff who were kind enough to let us sit and chat. A friend of mine recommended eating here for brunch/lunch. I ordered a breakfast bowl, other dishes ordered sweetcorn fritters with salmon and chicken schnitzel. Drinks included pineapple juice, coffee's, teas. Dessert included sticky date pudding to share and apple and white chocolate cheesecake.. I was really impressed with flavours and definitely will visit again. There is inside eating areas and also an area outside. Can take kids. We sat inside.

The latest incarnation of the old Peppercorn Cafe, This has been a favourite stopping point for us on motorcycle rides and drives for nearly twenty years. Michael and his crew have spent a motza on this place; apart from the external structure, virtually everything is new, and it is spectacular. (Note, especially the toilets, which were always functional, but pretty basic!) And, it's open on Mondays (closed for a break on Tuesdays), perfect for us retired travellers; this morning there was no parking available and every table was full. Coffee, hot and properly brewed, raisin toast hot and delicious, on the way home, hot chocolate including two marshmallows! AND, open till 11:00pm on Friday and Saturday nights, and 9:00pm on Sundays. Do yourself a favour and pay them a visit! PS, there's lights around the base of the peppercorn tree, must look terrific at night!

Stopped in here for lunch and was disappointed to say the least. First taking the order and had to repeat myself 4 times as the server continually said the wrong drink. Second was the food itself, I had the lamb ragu, pasta overcooked and the ragu lacked the richness it should have. Husband had the schnitzel and said he felt like it came out of a packet. Also had cheesy garlic bread which was very oily. Drinks ordered 4 cocktails and 3 were meant to be the same drink and came out different every time. Last was the cheesecake and again seemed like it came out of a packet and didn't taste good at all. All in all disappointing considering its a nice setting and had real potential. Won't be back.

As a local I have been to the bunker a few times and the food and service is good however a bit pricey for the menu on offer. I also tried to use the Bunker as my local go to for regular Take Away coffees however the service has diminished terribly over the short time they’ve been open and I’ll be going back to another cafe from now on. Today I ordered my 2 coffees and 2 hot chocolates and it took 20 minutes and when received the drinks were warm at best like they were rushed. There weren’t even many people there so not sure what the problem was but that was my last visit unfortunately.

Simply abysmal service. Food good but over priced. Waited 45 minutes for lunch (they were half empty) and had to remind them we were there. Ordered coffee at end and they forgot us again so we cancelled and left. Will definitely not return. Oh and if you are kind and think it's because they were understaffed, they had 4 people chatting in the bar when I went in to remind them we were there and my wife found 5 of them chatting when she went in to order coffee. We stopped by for a cake and coffee today. Place is beautiful, lovely design and love the playground for the kids. We were just a bit taken aback by the prices…we didn’t have a meal so I can’t comment on the value there but we ordered a cheesecake for $17 to share thinking it’d be generous for the price of a small meal. However it was just a tiny round blob with a little cream! I don’t mind paying for a decent slice of cake but it was comically small. Anyway the service was friendly and the place had a good atmosphere, just felt a little lacklustre on the cake front!!! Very very overpriced for what it is. Kids meal is same price for a burger or a Vegemite sandwich, which is outrageous. Not many kids options for children with allergies. Almost $27 for a roast beef sandwich, with hardly any roast beef. Cocktails were one of the worst cocktails I've ever had. Our bill for 4 adults & 3 kids was $360. It does average out to be just over $51/pp, but could've gotten a better meal elsewhere. Upside is kids were entertained with the play area.

Waited and waited out the front “Wait to be seated” once the waiter finally arrived, was very confused and hardly greeted us. It also wasn’t that busy. (There was also another couple waiting behind us) When we got a table. Took at least 20 mins for the coffee to arrive. But we wanted to dine as-well, no waiter in sight, no-one came up to us. By this point id lost my appetite and just had our coffee and left. No apology for the wait or nothing. Disappointing as we were looking forward to the venue.

The bunker Mulgoa hosted my bridal shower and we had an amazing experience. Food, service and atmosphere was lovely. We hired out the private glass room and had the grass area to ourselves next door to it, so it was great that guests could spread out and use this area too. The staff were very accomodating on the day and the food was delicious :)

Overpriced menu of fancy rubbish that holds no appeal. No Caesar salad and eggs Benedict does not have spinach. Where are the classic meals we know and love? The venue itself is aesthetically pleasing however they’ve missed the mark with the food. The menu is lacking in variety and more traditional meals, and portions are small and overpriced. Adding more traditional meal options to the menu would draw twice the customers.

Amazing Venue. Great Menu and Staff. Generous serves, Loved the meal, dessert and coffee.

Attended on Father's day and had a really lovely time. The staff were friendly and accommodating and were doing an excellent job on a very busy day. Food was great too, and I am keen to visit again in the future.

Really nice service and food. We stopped on the way back to Sydney from Warragamba Dam. Kids area with nice playground, which was next to some outdoor dinning tables that had gas heaters.

The share T-Bone is to die for! I’m usually a fan of osso at panthers but the bunker Mulgoa tops theirs for sure! Great service, and great food and cocktails, what more could you want!

Wow. We had the charcuterie board and then the pork ribs with a side of carrots. Food came quickly enough and the quality was outstanding. Everything I ate was the best I've had of that thing. Amazing.

The size of the meals were nice and large. We did, however, have to wait an hour and a half from being seated to getting our food. It was lovely when it finally came though.
