Ik zal deze recensie in het Engels schrijven omdat de werknemers dat ook enkel spreken. Heb ik persoonlijk geen probleem mee en het lijkt op dit moment dan ook zeer hip te zijn, maar kan voor sommige mensen een minpunt zijn. Dan weet je dat ook weer meteen. Right then, in English. The Cabin has a cozy atmosphere with a nice small terrace. The staff is friendly, albeit not particularly aware of who's sitting down on their terrace so we had to walk inside to order. There's a nice selection of drinks available and doesn't overwhelm the costumer with 900+ choices of rather similar but not quite options. All in all a nice place to visit and sit down for a drink. Watching the people walk or drive (on a bike) by is a nice bonus!

Probably one of the best bars in the city at this moment. All bartenders are very skilled at their jobs, friendly, attentive and thoughtfull of their customers. The Bar itself and the atmosphere are really well thought out. If you want a great drink may it be beer or a cocktail or dinner before catching a movie. If you want a good talk with either the barkeepers, the guests or the people walking by, If you want to enjoy a good night out in Groningen then I'd strongly recommend coming to The Cabin!!!

Lovely memories from this place, I was there with my family a few weeks back, today, going through my phone I stumbled upon images from the night and decided I would write a review. The cocktails were of great quality, and the Guinness was one of the highlights of the evening. With the beverages, we also got nachos to snack on, I would recommend them for anyone, very tasty! The staff was nice and overall we had a very pleasant experience in the bar. Will definitely visit again next time coming to Groningen.

Ik was er om rugby te kijken. Het eten was heerlijk, 3 combi van hamburgers. Vriendelijke kerel achter de bar. Enige commentaar was de baas die aan de bar zat en er duidelijk moeite mee had dat het commentaar aan moest ipv muziek. De man achter de bar was vasthoudend en zorgde ervoor dat het commentaar erop stond en bleef. Ondanks dat noemde hij het nog 2 keer. Moodkill. Volgende keer gewoon weer naar O'Malleys.

This is the bar me and my friends always always back to, the atmosphere is really cozy and the staff patient and observant. I made a reservation for a class meeting, which is usually stressful for staffs due to all the orders. A lot of effort was put into accommodating us all at a separate room in the back so we could talk comfortably. Again, thank you to the staff, we had a great evening!

2020-07 Just for a short trip on a Saturday here. We were the first guests at noon. After two rounds a our favourite Hendricks/Tonic we had good start into the city. :-D So, guys, we enjoyed our stay again! 2019-08 We were here some weeks ago to have a short break. The Gin Tonic we had was just great as the location. On our next visit in Groningen we will stay longer, definitely.

Always a great sunny terrace to have a drink, away from the more wild chaos on the rest of the street. The wait staff are always very kind and attentive. They won't let you go thirsty for a moment haha

Amazing hamburgers: very good quality meat, crispy bacon and delicious cheddar! The draught beers are delicious too (we ordered Guinness and a blond beer from Texels)! I have mixed feelings. The vibe, staff, food and drinks are extremely nice but I have got a problem with the owner. He was very very very rude to us from the second we walked in and it made me and my friends feel bad for even spending money there. He seemed kind of constantly annoyed and grumpy?

I really like this place. It has some really nice cocktails. The bartenders are skilled and helpful. The atmosphere is very 'gezellig' and the best part is that despite the awesomeness of this place not that many people come - there's always some place to sit.

Goede cocktails, mooi in balans. Dame in de bar kan goed mixen en weet er veel over te vertellen. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Verse sappen en ingrediënten worden gebruikt, mooie opmaak ook. Lust je graag een cocktail, ga dan naar the Cabin.

Drinks are good. But if you get a drink with a tonic they charge you for opening it but only use half of it to get 2 charges instate Instead of being included in the cost of the drink sense they are €9 before the second charge

I was here last week and it was just great, we were rather there than going out in Groningen. Brad and Ethan were amazingly nice and it was really fun. And also they have the best Gin-Drinks! Best regards from Germany!

Neat bar, very nice service, relatively good Cocktails, but the whisky sour was unfortunately a bit watered down. I think it is due to not using solid ice cubes for shaking and serving, but hollow ones. Meer

I have heard about this place for ages from ex pats who frequent it. I was surprised today at how different it is to my expectation. It was quiet friendly and a decent pub.... when I was there early pm!

Een leuke plek om een drankje te doen. De plek is mooi vormgegeven met hout en attributen. De drankjes zijn lekker en de prijs is redelijk. Wel moet je soms assertief zijn om een drankje te krijgen.

Staff are friendly, garden patio is very nice and has plenty of facilities to make it warmer if the weather turns mild, and prices are reasonable. A good place to get a good pint of Guinness.

The Cabin is a great place to have a nice cocktail, enjoy a special whiskey and obviously have a nice pint of Guinness. I enjoy having a good chat with the bar staff and chill down there.

A great place to relax. Usually quiet, but it gets busy at unpredictable times. Every once in a while, there is live music. On Sundays, they offer dinner, which is delicious.
