HE WORST PLACE TO STAY IN BEVERLY HILLS. I checked in Monday night, took a shower and woke up to the bathroom COVERED in ants. They were ALL OVER the floor and shower and toilet. I was then moved rooms, without any compensation, twice, and then those bathrooms were also covered in ants. After 45 mins the front desk checked me into “a new better room without ants” (this is the 3rd room I am now moving into) and surprise, there were ants there too!! But at this point it was midnight (4.5 hours later) so I gave up and went to bed. THEN AT 12:15am (PAST MIDNIGHT!!!) THE FRONT DESK CHECKED SOMEONE ELSE INTO MY ROOM. THEY HAD AN ACTIVE KEY AND TRIED TO GET INTO MY ROOM x2. Absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable. I immediately checked out that morning and was told that the manager would call me and compensate. So far I have called 3x and have heard nothing from anyone, and it has now been a full week. DO NOT STAY HERE. It’s a Scam, fraudulent, ant infested hotel that is filled with a whole bunch of incompetent people.

Enjoyed our weekend stay at the Carlyle Inn. Friendly staff welcomed us. Coffee Center in the lobby with a good selection of different coffees. Room was comfortable and clean. Courtesy drinks/social each evening. The lounge chair sitting area is currently closed but looks nice. I would have to give the fitness center the award for “The Smallest Gym” I’ve seen; treadmill, recumbent bike, dumbellsy, and a random speed bag.

Walkability
Sidewalks in the neighborhood are not very accessible.
Food & drinks
Variety of Food and bars not far away.
Noteworthy details
Street noise not bad, but sirens can be heard during the night.
Rooms are subpar. Shower roof collapsed while I was showering. Was moved to another room that toilet barely worked and deadbolt did not work. Was not offered any comps for this. No restaurant I onsite but have a few expensive snacks to buy. No bell hops to help with luggage Run down building Would not recommend third place AT ALL

Quiet
This was our first time at the Carlyle. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and chic. The hotel staff was so kind and welcoming, and also assisted us as we had questions about going to and from. The stay was so comfortable, and peaceful at night. The rooms are so cute and cozy but plenty of space (we had 3 in our room). The location is great too, easy access to surrounding LA locations. We definitely will be back!

Pictures are deceiving. Rooms are outdated, hotel smells like cigarettes, and the cleanliness of the rooms are questionable. Hotel failed to disclose on their website that they were under construction. I’d recommend checking if they’re still under construction before booking or else your stay might be noisy. They will not refund or work with you for the inconvenience.

This affordable, city boutique hotel is fantastically located for travelers heading west to Beverly Hills/Westwood and beyond and east to Hollywood or Downtown. We had a cozy stay that included great coffee in the mornings. A shout out to MASON at the front desk who went above and beyond on helping/answering questions, etc.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms were very comfortable. They offered beer or wine at their cocktail hours on outdoor patio. Very pleasant. Walking distance to restaurants. Paid covered parking

We will most certainly come back to stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. When you step inside the hotel, it has a wonderful aroma. There is parking, and the Culver City Stairs, which are a pleasant little stroll, are within walking distance from the location. More
This was a last minute find, after a mix up at another hotel. We were very satisfied with our room. The room was small but had all the modern essentials. The decor was really nice, old Hollywood with modern updates. There’s also a lovely cafe close by, La Provence Patisserie & Cafe. More
Terrible place with smelly filthy rooms. Awful noise from pipes, no restaurant or gym as they falsely say and the management are very cheap, not compensating for their failures. Stay away from this nasty place at all costs.

This hotel can't be a 3-star hotel. It should rank as 1-star hotel. I have stayed at many hotels in different locations. This was probably the worst one. The rooms are old, dirty, have no sound proof (I can hear next doors easily).

very lovely hotel in a great location. the manager is always at the reception and is ready to accommodate all needs. the housekeepers come in daily (unless you don’t want them to) and do very good job at cleaning. the beds are comfy and bathroom looks nice.
Very nice, but there were a few glitches. Toilet is too low. Hard to find dropped items on the patterned carpet. Daily sweeping up of the fallen leaves on the patio would be expected. WiFi poor in our room, but fine downstairs in office. More
Very unique hotel on the edge of Beverly Hills in the heart of the kosher corridor. Our Executive King Room was spacious with a desk and small seating area. Overall very clean, but some of the features of the furniture were not in working
Outrageously expensive hotel that offers little. Our room was small and ugly (artfully photographed to look much larger - they spend their money on the website I guess); there was no breakfast; and the front desk messed up our request to

A great place to stay...great service and location and good price. Check- in with ROGER was a breeze and he was very helpful throughout my stay. Excellent customer service! More
Room was small and there was no comfortable sitting chair, only a desk chair. Other than that, everything was clean and comfortable, and the service was friendly. More
Excellent Customer Service! All staff extremely friendly and helpful. Stayed for two weeks and was very pleased with the location and accommodations! More
