I went to The Casino Institute and started March 1st 2017. I saw these bad reviews and felt compelled to tell you my experience. Allyson was very professional when I called to set up an appointment and throughout the duration of my schooling. There is a lot to learn and you need to put in the time and effort into learning how to deal. I worked very hard for three months and I passed their audition which isn't easy because when she sends you in to get a job Allyson wants you to look like an experienced dealer. The next week, two other students and I had auditions at Oceans 11 Casino and two of us got hired on the spot. My start date was June 2017. I know Allyson has great relationships with all the casinos in San Diego because I personally saw 2 managers come to the school and hire students during my 3 months there. I would refer anyone to this school.

Don't let whiners get in your ear when they complain about getting "harassed". Those are the kinds of entitled people that could never make it in the casino (or any other hospitality) industry because they can't take criticism and would never be able to handle a "situation" with a guest/customer. As for the Casino Institute, I have been a student there and I can tell you they CARE about how well you do because they TRULY WANT you to get better and find a job. After all, their reputation is on the line for creating capable dealers. DUH! So check it out because this is the best opportunity for you to get into the casino industry!

My Spouse attended this school by word of mouth referral simmer of 2016.....big mistake...we should of done more research. My spouse lost time and money.. the institute was very unprofessional and just keep on giving excuses by he can't received a license yet.... the school was supposed to be 2 to 3 months....it turn into 6 months and 1000 dollars more from the original price of approximately $2000 to start.... the feeling we were getting is that it was a scam...

My experience here was beyond awful. Do not go here; you are better off going to another school (that is cheaper). Never before have I been ripped off so bad. I "donated" 300$ to the founder, Allison. By "donated" I actually mean that she ripped me off so that she could finish paying her "car". And by "car" I actually mean broom. 'Cuz she a witch.

The manager Allyson is a harasser and is rarely at The Casino Institute. The staff and trainers will harass you while they train you while wasting all of your time. Everyone will harass you here and also at the location in El Cajon. The casino institute deleted my review because I revealed the casino institute's truth. Do not go here.

Well worth the investment, Allyson still helps me when I call her after a decade since graduation. She loves her students and goes out of her way to make sure they succeed. This school will mold you into a thick skinned professional and the skills you learn go with you for the rest of your life.

By far one of the best schools I've ever attended. The staff is wonderful to work with and the experience is fun and friendly.
