Beautiful Catholic church. This is a downtown spot and many people take pictures here. However, it is not easy to park and we recommend using TTC. It's a great place for a lot of people to walk around and enjoy a little walk. There are plenty of shops nearby so it is a good place to enjoy a coffee or a simple snack.
We had crossed by this place countless number of times but had the opportunity to step inside during the doors open event. Absolutely gorgeous place. The architecture is amazing and the stained glass work is immaculate. Each window has a story depicted and there are plaques describing them. Impressive organ.
An impressive building with a tall tower and spire. A splendid, serene interior houses beautiful stained glass windows which tell stories of the Bible and the history of the Christian church. On the rear wall of the cathedral is the pipe organ. Definitely worth a visit. More
Beautiful cathedral: breathtaking stained glass artwork, original wooden seats that are over 100 years old, choir sings with angelic voices. The church is definitely something that you’d want to go see. For the architecture and history especially.
St. James Cathedral's Gothic Revival architecture is reflected throughout the structure. Every part of a Gothic cathedral is directly related to a "core dimension" which is used as an effort to achieve harmony and organic unity within the
A beautiful and historic church in the heart of downtown Toronto that should be a place to visit for the religious and non-religious for its place and history in downtown. Plan to visit during one of the Sunday afternoon evensongs to
It was a serene sight especially in the evening... the courtyard is huge with lots of space where you can just relax. Sadly I couldn't enter as it was too late, but I am sure the interior would be a much better sight to see... More
Although I was late for service, the half hour I experienced here was astounding. The choir sounded great, and the priest makes the effort to get to know every one. Hope to properly experience this cathedral next week
St James Cathedral is a beautiful example of the Gothic Revival style. The bell tower is among the tallest in the world at 305 ft above street level.
Absolutely beautiful church it is a most see. So much history behind this building please take a read on Google to much to write out on here. More
Great pre-Christmas concert ! The setting in this cathedral was epic ! Heard about it for years but finally went and had an amazing time.
Modest Gothic in the city center. A great place to reflect on life. There is a small, well-kept park around. 10/10. More
The cathedral is simply beautiful, both on the outside with its huge garden and green areas, and on the inside.
We have listened to an organ concert in this cathedral for free. It was amazing.

Anglican church in Church's Street downtown Toronto with Gothic Revival architecture built in 1797.
Went in the morning, it was very quiet. It has a lot of history and lovely stain glass design.
Awesome architecture, a comfortable place, and atmosphere in a great downtown location.
