Wonderful, I love coming here. There are horses around however I have never gotten too close. There are educational posters around informing you of the wildlife present. Generally, a nice place to go and walk, although during the rainy season I recommend waterproof shoes as the off-road paths can get muddy and slightly flooded.
Unexpectedly beautiful place. There are horses running about, be gentle.. and we saw hundreds of wild rabbits at every turn everywhere, we guess because the place has so few people about they feel free to roam. Unfortunately I was so busy watching them I didn't take any photos. Really lovely place to go walking. More
Always enjoy a walk around this area. so much wildlife and pretty scenery you forget you’re in Dagenham! Can spend a good couple of hours exploring it all. Perfect place to walk in the summer whether with the family, a partner or a four legged friend. More

Great place for a walk to get away from it all and commune with nature for a while. Makes you forget about the rest of the world for a couple of hours. Joins up with other parks for longer visits. Better off with walking boots or wellies
This parkland and nature reserve is a great place to visit. Especially nice in the summer. Some really lovely walks can be enjoyed here. Lots of wildlife to be seen here. At the moment you need to have the right footwear as lots of the
A great green space to walk around with good paths and a café. Paths around The Chase nature reserve are usually flooded and muddy in winter so wellies are essential, particularly if visiting The Slack area. More
Amazing nature reserve where you will find a beautiful lake, lots of ducks and birds all around, with bridle paths, horses roaming free to graze, lovely walking areas, such a nice place to get outside and wander
I was not on The Chase Nature Reserve, I was at Beam Valley Park. Please let me know if this comes under The Chase. I love this place as it's my childhood stomping ground, and it still draws me
The Chase Nature Reserve is very quiet & idyllic, it was a really nice walk & left me feeling a sense of calm after a full on day at work. Definitely going back, for another walk around. More
Nature at its best! Eastends best kept secret!! Wonderful lakes, walkways, bird sanctuary, orchard, plants & trees and some creepy crawlies too! Family friendly & a cafe to take a break!

Nice path layout, a bit soggy off the paths, loads of birds and rabbits very secluded in parts with a lot of dog walkers and nice cafe in the Discovery Centre
Absolutely love it here! You can walk for miles with so much wildlife to see, including lovely horses! Definitely one of my on-the- doorstep happy places!
A wonderful tranquil place for a cuppa n a bite to eat. Very lovely staff. I would recommend this place. A chance to step outta Dagenham ++++
This is such a nice place for a walk with a friend or place to take the dog for a walk. Find a bench and have a sit down and watch the world float by.
Wonderful place. Peace and quiet. You can breathe deeply away from the hustle and bustle of the city and at the same time so close More
Nature at it's best, very over grown attracts butterflies, moths and other insects, stream has several different wild fowl
Good place to chill. The water stream is very nice in the summer! Nice for walks and jogs, also reasonably quite as well!
This park needs lot of attention, the paths are very muddy after rain. The landscape is nice just very neglected.
Love this place. Oasis in Dagenham. Cycle routes are all gravel but doable. Great for walking and picnics.

A little piece of the countryside in Dagenham. Come and support the B&D students who run the cafe.
We went over there to pick blackberries and there are so many bushes, spoilt for choice …
Nice to have somewhere close on your doorstep where you can get away from the meeting crowd
