We moved to Laveen about a year and a half ago and have very much enjoyed attending church services and other activities here. The congregation is diverse in background and life experiences, which has resulted in wonderful gospel discussions where we learn and benefit from the faith and examples of our friends. Such loving people, constantly looking for ways to serve our community and help others. We have been members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints since childhood and love the opportunity to raise our children with the Christ-centered principles. Our four-year old comes home from Sunday School each week excited to tell us what they learned about Jesus, or prayer, or reverence and kindness. This week he keeps talking about pouring water on the burning bush...so we may need to explain that part of Moses' story again when he's older ;) In all seriousness, though, we highly recommend this church!

No one TRIES to be friends, they think they're better than everyone else. Especially some fat dude named Chip who probably ate too much chips to be overweight! They don't believe in God or Christ's REAL apostles like Paul, Peter, John, and them. Plus, Chip cussed at me over the phone outside of church. How "Christ-like".. And i'm only 16 and He's like 30 ish. Not recommended! i suggest Grace Walk Community Church in Lower Buckeye!! They're like a REAL FAMILY WHO CARES there!!

I go there every Sunday and it is a family Church where REAL Christians attend. It is fairly diverse. I attend a congregation called the Laveen Ward. I recommend checking it out. I till be a great church home.

Wonderful friendly Christian people worshiping Heavenly Father and love to help each other. Two English speaking congregations and one Spanish speaking congregation worship in this building.

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ, and I feel that is what is preached here. I feel such a beautiful spirit when I come to this church, and I appreciate how warm and welcoming people are.

We were welcomed by several people our first time going here after moving into the area. Just as Christ-centered as any Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints chapel I've been to.

There are three wards (congregations) that meet in this building. All the members are very friendly. The youth program is excellent.

The Gila River ward has been so welcoming and kind. I am most grateful for their willingness to help me and make me feel loved.
