I want to give one star but considering I got excellent service from two staffs before, these two stars would be for them. Overpriced food? I do not mind. It’s the airport, what would you expect right. Tasteless? I do not mind, that is why salt and pepper were provided anyway. Glaring and ignoring me? That is totally unacceptable. I myself work as a Front of House staff so I’d understand how this role works. I would not get angry if the table is dirty maybe the staffs are busy or wtv. I’d totally understand that but not this one attitude. The table had a dirty cup on it when I first arrived, I do not mind. When I finished my meal, a staff was walking around and picked up dirty dishes from my table. I asked if she could take the dirty cup as well (which was there before I came), AND SHE JUST GLARED AT ME AND LEFT? You know what I just wish to understand what the fff was going on her mind at that time. Did she think I could not talk English so she just left (considering I am a South East Asian) I live in NZ for 3 years and work in a restaurant, I could say my English is at exceptional level. Even if she could not understand or did not listen clearly, she could ask me to repeat. NOT BY GLARING AND LEFT. I totally, totally cannot accept that.

The guy here was very friendly and looked like he actually cared about his job, which is the only reason I gave three stars instead of one. That and the sweet potato chips, they were amazing. But when I originally placed my order I felt like I had ruined the girl's day. Not sure if she was being rude or was just sick but she didn't look like she wanted to be there. Also she said they weren't making frappes anymore. Turns out they could but when I first asked why, it seemed like she was the confused one. They also had a sign saying ""takeaway only". It felt like I had walked in just before closing when they dont close for another 6 hours. I was happy I got what I ordered in the end

Stopped at The Coffee Club this morning for breakfast before boarding our flight. Counter staff were super friendly and served us promptly. We ordered Eggs Benedict and a Vanilla Latte. Both were delivered in a short time and were delicious!! I have had not so good experience with a couple of external Coffee Clubs but this one in the airport sets the standards the text should follow! Will happily return on our next adventure ❤️

Food poisoning after purchasing a ham and cheese croissant at 10pm on Friday 25th October 2023 at the Coffee Club International Departures, Brisbane. At 12 midnight I was vomiting and cramping as the plane taxied to takeoff. The croissant was "warmed" in the microwave as the kitchen was closed. A nightmare 10 hour flight followed with regular vomiting and sweating cramps. Two days later I am still confined to bed when I should be enjoying a holiday.

This morning I ordered a skim flat white and I was very skeptical. I have never bought coffee from this chain of stores but I was more than pleasantly surprised. The coffee was suffciently hot, the milk was frothed perfectly and the beans grinded to perfection. It was so smooth and delicious. I'm sure it would have convereted a hot chocolate user to caffeine in a heartbeat. To the barista who served me my coffee this morning at approximately 630am, I say thankyou for making my final memory of my Brisbane trip a positive one. Keep up the good work!

  • Teah Metsä

Pleasant service. Good basic food. Unfortunately, after specifying an egg allergy and even asking about ensuring the bacon was cooked on a clean pan (not one where egg had been cooked on), and requesting no sauces, the sandwich was delivered with egg aioli. They did replace the sandwich. However, it is disappointing to have to constantly triple check, even after receiving the meal. Also, the "Belgian style indulgent hot chocolate" is simply a hot chocolate with whipped cream and chocolate flakes. Nothing indulgent or special about it.

  • Sarah Horn

Food was disgusting, ordered 2 toasted sanwiches, breekie burger, hot chips, and 1 piece of bacon and hashbrown on the side put it on my burger, food was not hot, chips were bloody cold, he didn't even get my order right as he was serving me he was on his phone, good customer service not, dont eat here if I could give you a _ I would,he is giving coffee club a bad name, tells me not to get angry,

Awful! AUD 37, one slice of bread each which wasn’t really toasted, scrambled eggs which were set, tepid, lifeless rubber! Avocado just cut in half and plonked on the toast with a bit of cheese and pumpkins seeds…disgusting. But then you’re a captive audience in departures. Don’t bother maybe hope the other outlets are better, but they are equally expensive. Subway and other stalls nearer gate 81 all closed.

Food is under cooked. I don't know how you can under cook chips that much. Pancakes had soggy bottoms. This place use to be our regular when travelling internationally, but I don't know what happened, it's gone to rubbish. All meals were terrible and weren't finished. What a waste of $60.

If you are in an airport, you are in an airport. The staff at this place are friendly and the food is good quality and fair price given where you are. I had a double Espresso and it was a nice blend served with a smile. All you can ask before departure. You are in an airport, remember?

Terrible. Unhappy staff, waited 20 minutes in line, to be told we aren't doing frappes. No smiles, once ordered curtly told 'go over there' with a finger pointed to the end counter. No please wait for your order at the end. Waited another 10 minutes for coffee and the people before me walked off with 3 fresh frappes.. This airport is just waiting for a smart operator to come in and take all the customers

  • Brian Hodson

Good service at the counter, but unfortunately not backed up by the rest of the team. Drinks arrived in an adequate time, waited another 35 mins before asking staff to follow up with our meal order. We were told we would have to reorder at the counter with the option of takeaway. With a plane to catch obviously not an option. We walked out in disgust with no option of a refund.

  • Tate

In an environment where you overpay for everything I thought the meal size and price was fairly reasonable. The eggs were cooked well and although we queued to order the food only took 5mins to come out. Probably the only place worth getting breakfast at and much better than the other coffee shop. Yes I did want a basic breakfast on this occasion and that’s exactly what I got

  • Gustavo Aravena

The food was delicious, especially after a very long flight arriving at 5.30Am. The service was really poor from the counter people. They took our order wrong. They barely spoke to customers, and zero smiles or welcoming attitude.

Good value for your money. Quick service and the Crispy Chicken Burger got served hot and crispy. Chips were very good too. Not a rip-off, as I would have expected, for a restaurant located on airside. Smiling and efficient staff.

Only in Brisbane would a cafe in an international airport terminal close their kitchen while the terminal is full of hungry passengers. Service scores a zero given that they weren't capable of serving. Food, would have loved to have found out, but knowing this chain, probably a mediocre attempt at cafe food.

Lets down the Coffee Club name. Eggs on toast swimming in water, soggy toast, eggs not cooked. Wait staff friendly enough, but obvious issue with the kitchen, if they don’t care about what they produce, find another job.

Not a lot of choices in this airport so I came to coffee club which makes me disappointed every single time. The coffee is average and I ordered egg& bacon on toast. The bacon is soooo bad and not flavoured like they did nothing with bacon after got it from coles. A 15% surcharge here by the way....

  • Malcolm Wilton

Counter staff were friendly, but the person that was clearing the tables was not very hygienic he wiped the table with his bare hand, and all the crumbs went straight onto the floor. The looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Good coffee and service. Seems to be the only place you can rely on to be open at the airport right now. Arrived at lunch time and minimal food place were open which seemed odd. Any way recommend the coffee club from my experience.

Ordered a big breakfast, the food temperature warm to cold, sausages hard and dry, mushrooms dry and chewy, bacon rubbery after a few mouth fulls tasted better, but the sourdough toast bread was just right! We were sitting right infront of the display food cupboards which were dirty!!

  • Libby

Young girl at counter wouldn't serve me because I couldn't hang up the phone, even though I paused my conversation to try and order. Just my one experience but for a convenience location next to the airport when you are rushing early in the morning I would except kinder service.

I had to rated 1 star because I came through just now and in passing I asked the blonde girl behind the counter what time they were open and she was so rude in her response. Get some customer service skills before you work at an international airport rude girl

  • Emma Thiele

Bought a cake and coffee to eat in store, they both came in single use plastic containers/cup, and plastic fork. I can't believe successful multi-store businesses such as the coffee club are still doing this. It's utterly irresponsible. No more plastic!

  • Ravind Chandra

Lovely coffee and lovely friendly staff. The food looks nice and fresh. Thru also sell beer etc which is a bonus. The cafe is tidy and the employees were actually cleaning the cafe when they were not too busy. This is such a goods change. Love it!

  • Phil Macinante

There are much better offerings here at the airport. Very average food and coffee. Chips and a sandwich. Chips were dry small and horrible. Sandwich had no flavor and the coffee if you can call it that ,, well it was at least hot. Go else were.

  • Tina Lacey

Ordered raisin bread It was so burnt it was inedible It was disgusting The bacon in the egg and bacon roll looks raw and the eggs were cooked in the morning..I was told Looks nothing like the pics on their website That has to be a health issue

  • Billy G

Very warm and welcoming staff, very good coffees, breakfasts, snacks, drinks, many things available here at this airport franchise. Love it and would not hesitate to recommend this shop to any one Very good, very delicious, highly recommended

Extremely busy little cafe, which didn’t give the staff to clear out the tables with enough time, but having said that, the food was served quickly, and it was quite delicious. I didn’t have coffee so I can’t comment on that.

  • Carol Hon

It is as expected. Price is a little bit over: $12 for a muffin. Some wonderful creations i'd like to try. muffins are ok, not amazing, not worth the price. Coffee served there is spilled by the staff. Not very satisfied.

  • ian koo

Very good coffee! I will look forward to the next visit. I had coffee twice recently and all of them were good. The rating is just for the coffee and I believe baed where it is situated that is what most will care about.

  • Frank MB

The Asian guy at the counter service was nice but the girl who served the food to us was so rude. The food looked like animal food, the coffee was so burnt and very very hot. This is The Coffee Club. Please improve.

Being a coffee club, the good thing is there are no surprises. The coffee and food is the usual good standard and they get both the food and coffee out quickly, which can sometimes be a concern at and airport.
