I cannot express how upset I am at this place right now. My brother was so eager and excited to come here only to be met with stealing accusations. This grown man said that he watched him walk away with five and only come back with three. That was not the case whatsoever. This grown man searched my *twelve* year old brothers box of cards to find them and found nothing. It's not like he could've hid them on his person, he was wearing a tank top and basket ball shorts. There's more to the story but nothing that aids the employee. Do your self a favor and don't risk the accusations by coming here.

A go-to friendly local gaming store. I've been coming here for 30+ years and I have to say the once-crusty service has massively improved over time. Everyone there is super chill and very knowledgeable about their products, as well as patient and kind with families. I would love to see more miniatures and miniature paints in stock, but other than that I have no constructive criticism. Keep being awesome for another 30 years, Comic Book Shoppe!

Went in to get a copy of a book I was looking for and found it, but there was a bit of an issue with the cover. The staff there were very polite and offered to put the book on order for me as I promised to buy the book if they had an undamaged one. I now have the book on order and am looking forward to the phone call to go and pick it up. The staff was very polite and very helpful. I look forward to going in again.

Love coming to this comic shop. The staff are always very helpful, and will go out of their way to find exactly what you're looking for. If they don't have something in stock, they will try and order it for you! I could buy most of the items I purchase here on Amazon, but shopping local is so important these days, and the staff here make it worthwhile everytime. I highly recommend checking out this gem of a shoppe!

Not into that kind of thing too much (I went there to get comics with/for my boy), but if I really was into comics, anime, figurines and such, oh man I would love to spend a few hours at this store. Every week. Their selection is ridiculous (in a good way), the prices are fair, and their staff is very friendly and helpful if you don't know who Venom is, or how to properly read a manga book.

I've been coming here since I moved to Nepean more than fifteen years ago. Been taking my kids there since they were in baby seats. The store is well laid out and tidy and they have a great selection of comics, a fair selection of games and they're always happy to try to order in anything and bring in even more limited appeal books on my sub. Great, friendly, reliable service all around.

Best store in Ottawa. Steven and the gang are the most wonderful people I have ever met. They are knowledgeable on every series I know of and are able to help with an issue i have. They helped me put together a list of books to start my collection and go the extra mile and order in anything that missing. There is literally no other comic shop that better in my opinion.

Like any small comic shop, you're bound to find something unique and this place is no different. Though this was my first trip, I neither felt overwhelmed nor intimidated (something that can really ruin an experience for people). I will definately be coming back, and therefore can only expect more great treasures in the future. See you next time!

Best comic store in Ottawa. Massive selection of comics (new and back issue). Very well organized. Friendly, knowledgeable staff always willing to help. Twice as big as the Bank St. location - and carries twice the amount of stuff. Great selection of board games, graphic novels, figurines, movie-related merch. This is the place to go!

One of, if not THE best place for all your wants and needs in a comic book store. Always go in there with a smile and leave with one, would recommend this place to everyone who is looking for comics, Manga, figures, and everything in between. Last but not least, they have an exchange program with tokidoki figures, enough said!

Stopping to exchange a mystery/blind box item. I didn’t like the one originally got and heard I might be able to exchange it here. I was happy to hear they do and an employee at the desk helped me make the swap. The employee was helpful, they had a good selection & am now very happy with what my new blind box item.

Made me wait outside in the freezing cold because there was 10 people in the store. Obviously, if I went inside, there would be 11, and we'd all get a mild cold, so good job keeping everyone safe. Garbage store anyway, didn't even have what I needed. Insanely cramped, claustrophobic and disorganized

The best comics store I have been to in the city. There is a really big number of comics and merchandise. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Place is clean and spacious. They have so many comics on sale so make check you check them often. The staff's taste in comics is really good as well.

Travelled to many comic shops and this is one of the best in the city. Great mix of old and new comics and the staff know their stuff from the latest titles to artists to stories. They also sell a lot of related stuff too and prices are very reasonable. All around must stop in Ottawa.

Great staff, exceedingly good collection of comics, graphic novels and mangas as well as collectibles and used toys/action figures!! Their gundam model kit is nothing to scoff at, and prices are rather good. Always a good stop to do when on merivale, highly highly recommended :)

An amazing comic book shop with more than just comics, but they do have a large selection of those too. More items include action figures, board games, memorabilia, and more. The staff are incredibly helpful and can often do pre-orders and help you find back-orders as well.

Awesome little shop, has everything from the darkest Goryest comic to the cutest fun manga. And the amount of collectibles are insane!!! The staff are very nice and very knowledgeable, can even pre-order specific items through them. Definitely going back and you should too!

Great local comic book store with friendly, helpful staff. Also has a reasonably good selection of lots of other typical nerd stuff: collectible figurines, board games, TTRPG supplies, anime/manga, and gunpla. Worth a visit. Support local stores like this whenever you can!

Every time I go there the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. Today I stopped by and even though the store was busy, I was greeted and given amazing service! The store itself is wonderful and has something for everyone, but the staff are what make it my go to shoppe!

So much stuff to sift through. They had many rare items and my kids found things they were not looking for but were happy to find them. A bit out of the way but worth the detour. Staff were passionate and ready to help. Kinda place they'll remember your name.

Staff are friendly and pretty knowledgeable. Obviously it's unrealistic to expect them to know about everything sell, but the do their best to help as well as they can! The stock is always interesting and there's always something to find when you go

Went in not knowing what kind of selection the store would have and was pleasantly surprised with the great selection. I was extremely happy when they had exactly the paper backs I was looking for. The staff was also very friendly. Would recommend.

Was having lunch at local heroes and decided to check them out. They had Captain Canuck comics, I was missing. Bought what they had. Will go back to get the first few issues. This place has tons of comics and other items. Check it out.

There is a great selection of toys, games, comics, etc! They have great prices for the comic books but not so much for the toys and games. The staff are nice and very knowledgeable! It was my first time here but certainly not my last!

Small and cramped, and feels very claustrophobic. I go there for the games, but the selecting has been decreasing as time goes on. They were WELL over the pages limit of 10 people in the store today, which was also uncomfortable.

I was interested in GUNPLA ( Gundam Building ) but didn't know anything. The guys in the store were very kind and took the time to explain how it goes. Very good selection of comics and figurines, also have D&D books and posters.

Excellent selection. Place feels a little bit cluttered, but there is so much to find and explore here. Been a customer of this store for over 20 years, everything from Anime, Magic cards, table top gaming, etc.

Very impressed by the amount of stock. Not terribly well-organized and the staff I spoke to didn't seem terribly knowledgeable but I was impressed by the sheer variety.

Great experience. The shop was busy and had a great selection of games, comics and collectibles. Do wish they still stocked GW products. But overall a great location.
