Felt ripped off and creeped out. Was charged $90 for a product that retails on line for $55. Service area was a dark, dodgy lean to off the back of the house. Was told one of the dogs that was barking had bitten someone so not to go through the yard to the store (no other way to get to it) if the dogs were out. The guy told me my antivirus was crap and there were Trojans on my computer which he could apparently tell from just looking at the screen. When I asked him to show me he declined. He was pleasant enough but I felt like I was being taken for a ride. He may well be genuine, but I won't be going back, can't recommend and would rather overpay in a safe, professionally managed, mainstream store any day.

Mick cut through the technical language to explain the problem with my computer in layman's terms. When I couldn't afford the spare part my computer needed he found a way around it and I came away very happy - and a working computer. (The alternative repair was $35 as opposed to $250). He spent over an hour taking the gazillion screws out to get the part number and give me the quote and didn't charge me a cent for that time - he said he has never charged for quotes. He came across as a genuinely decent person with good business sense on every level. (And he was an ex-service member.)

Mick is a legend. My old workhorse's power supply and I replaced that without hassle. However I could not get the machine to boot up at all. As it was an older machine I just assumed that I needed to cut my losses and buy a whole new system. However, I reached out to Mick to see what he could do and sure enough, he quickly identified the issue and got my computer working again. Saved me a stack of time an money, so couldn't be happier.

Amazing Computer Repair Man, very fair pricing and knows everything to get your computer fixed asap. Don't even think for a second that those 'geeks to you' are a viable choice, they'll charge you a huge hourly rate and don't get anywhere. The Computer Surgeons are the only choice on the Peninsula worth using, couldn't recommend them any higher!
