What a wonderful surprise! This little, unassuming shop on the corner is a hidden gem of a great store! I got the Ham and Brie sandwich, chips, mexicoke, and a small charcuterie plate (3 cheese, 2 meat). I was stuffed!! I asked Maddie at the counter to pick out the cheeses and meats for us. She asked how we handled spice levels, if we preferred hard or soft cheeses, etc. What she delivered was on-point and absolutely hit the mark! They do catering, too, so if you want to be the star of your office, get a big charcuterie board for your team! I'll definitely come here anytime I'm in Charlotte!

excellent little sandwich shop and neighborhood market! my sandwich was delightful and very reasonably priced. lots of really unique canned beverages as well as a huge wine selection and great locally roasted coffee (pure intentions)! there are tons of specialty products that are locally sourced and will elevate your next cheese board or anything else that you need a specialty ingredient to spice things up with (cloister honey, locally made & natural drink mixes, local jams, etc.). staff is superb and extremely friendly and helpful. highly recommend!

Simply perfection for a week of wedding festivities! We had family and friends in town and served several appetizers and a beautiful charcuterie board for the bride & bridal party the day of the wedding as everyone got prepared for the photographer to arrive, and a few days later we served platters of sandwiches for all our out of town guests before an evening party. The food was so good, the presentation was beautiful, and we received so many compliments. Thank you Catherine and team!

Always delicious, lovely staff, and attentive. It seems like if they don't have an item we ask about... It's there next time. They really pay attention to their customers and deliver a great experience. Charcuterie boards are killer and personalized... and travel well! This is a great spot in Belmont/Plaza Midwood. Fantastic selection of cheeses & other provisions. Their sandwiches are delicious and there is a great selection of lesser known beers & ciders available also. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful when I have visited. Their large charcuterie boards look amazing, I plan on getting one in the future as they always look so professionally done.

We really like the place. They were here when the neighborhood wasn't the best. I guess it still isn't, but they're great. They have a lot of stuff my wife loves and really good sandwiches too. Don't forget the sandwiches. Tons of wine, cheese and beers. Oh yeah, and if you're thick like me 'The Culture Shop' is a reference to the cheese rather than a proclamation that they are cultured.

Nice boutique wine and cheese bodega. The Culture Shop is quaint, unique and equipped with a lots of daily essentials. From wine to specialty food and everything in between they you covered. The staff is Uber friendly and accommodating. I tried the Uncle Sammy remixed. Instead of as a sandwich It was constructed as a salad . The salad was super tasty and filling.

We absolutely love the Culture Shop! Capo, Jordan, Leonard, and their entire team do an amazing job creating delicious sandwiches, salads, and epic charcuterie. Also, they have an extensive wine selection. Jordan even special ordered from one of our favorite wineries in Italy for us! We always look forward to a great meal at the Culture Shop! Cheers, MPB

I just found my place in the NoDa and Plaza Midwood area (and there are great places here). Great cheese and charcuterie selection, fantastic sandwiches, among them the Caprese, my all time favorite. And a very eclectic and properly priced wine selection. You must visit this place if you are in the area and just want to delight your palate!

Wonderful shop with a wide variety of local and internationally sourced savory and sweet treats and beverages. The cheeses are delicious and their charcuterie boards are works of art. Best part is the friendly staff and owner Catherine. A great place to pick up a quick sandwich, a bottle of wine or some local gifts.

Consistently good and always friendly and helpful. I get lunch here almost weekly. Make sure you check out their sandwich specials, they’ve never disappointed. They will set you up with a great charcuterie board, as well. Good wine and beer selection, along with a nice selection of specialty grocery items.

Never disappointed when we go here. Catherine and her team always outperforms and has great customer service and very welcoming. The food is great and I love the variety. I absolutely love going into the Culture Shop! They make the most delicious and gorgeous cheese plates. They walk you through all the daily cheeses and meats and will give you samples to make sure you get something you love. You won't regret checking this shop out!

This place is amazing. Super fresh ingredients, great little market as well. The sandwiches are the best I’ve had in Charlotte (the Uncle Sammy is a must) and the customer service is second to none. Definitely a new favorite of mine and an absolute must try.

Just moved into the neighborhood and stopped in last night for some wine. Didn’t realize they had food too so I ordered a charcuterie and cheese board. It was one of the best boards I’ve ever had and Catherine and staff were super nice.

Definitely worth the hype. The three of us each got a different sandwich and all were out of this world. By the sound of the reviews paired with our experience I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu.
