I've been going to The Curl Therapy salon for a while now, and let me tell you, it's been a game changer for my curly hair! Khrystyna, my hairstylist, is an absolute rockstar. Not only is she a pro at what she does, but she's also got the best customer relationship skills in the game. Before I found this place, I was really struggling to find a salon that knew how to work with my specific hair type. But as soon as I walked into The Curl Therapy, I knew I was in good hands. Khrystyna listened to what I wanted and made some amazing suggestions that have really transformed my curls. What I love about Khrystyna is that she's always so professional, but she's also really down to earth and easy to talk to. I always feel like I'm hanging out with a friend when I'm in her chair. And the rest of the staff is just as amazing. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I've recommended this salon to so many of my curly haired friends and they've all had the same amazing experience that I have. The attention to detail and the level of expertise here is simply unmatched. So if you're struggling to find a salon that really gets curly hair, look no further. The Curl Therapy is the place to be. Khrystyna and the rest of the staff will make you feel like a queen and your curls will thank you for it!‍♀️

I am extremely happy of my experience at the curl therapy. I booked an appointment with Sara for curly hair cut/trim. Having my wedding soon, I explained to Sara that I wanted to have healthy and bouncy curls for my big day, as my hair were so dry, damaged, and without shape. She was very listening, and focus to meet my expectations. After assessing my hair, She recommended to do a Japanese treatment as my hair were lacking of hydration. To be honest, it is quite expensive (350aed) and I was a bit skeptical at first… but the result was A-MA-ZING and I think the best option if you want long-term result. After the styling, I really enjoyed that Sara took the time to explain me the different techniques and to recommend vegan products that I can use to have the same result at home. My only advise for this salon would be to maybe enhance a little bit the confort of the customer. My hair being quite long, it requires to hold some positions for the hairstylist to work or your curls. It was a bit painful for the neck. I think it would make people enjoy even more their journey. After a long time of struggling, I am relieved to have found the right salon to trust my hair with!

Sharing my experience so that you don’t waste your MONEY.. - They’re using normal Brush not the sectioned one for curly hair - she make Random Big section and only left the hair instead of curling each section properly with the brush - While washing my hair I asked if I can do trim, and they were complaining and giving me hard time why I did not book earlier for trim and asked me to pay500 if I will trim because I’ll cost them extra product and Electricity -Worst communication they saw me not happy and did not bother come and talk to me or check what’s the problem - Hair all over the floor - they just do the same exact steps for all hairs, not bothered checking your hair status, what kind of curls, if you have done treatment before or advise The real Professional hair stylist won’t feel good unless he/she is satisfied when she look at the final result!!! They are just worried about product and Electricity Definitely not going there again and I don’t recommend to any one , same result as if you do it home

I was hoping to try this salon first time and get the curly experience. I tried make appointments this week and no communication or reply. Got an email confirmation finally for 10am and arrived to a smoker outside only to find this was one of the stylists who didn’t look anyway ready for customers. The salon was messy unclean and they didn’t have my booking. Better still when they found it the stylist I booked wasn’t there. My hair is very curly so I only go to 2 salons one here one at my home country I was trying this as an alternative. My hair tied up last few days so did need to wash style and cut. This stylish that had given the bad first impression proceeded to tell me she would do my hair cutting first then washing drying. As I know well I’m my experiences this isn’t right so I made a good decision to leave the chair and count my lucky stars my gut feeling told me this was not a good idea. Definitely can’t recommend this salon , I never got to see what would happen but the salon and the lack of any organization left enough of a bad impression

Firstly, I always wanted a curly salon in Dubai that can cater to the needs of curly hair. Thank God for the Curl Therapy. I am super happy with the service. I got a haircut and scalp consultation. Both the services were done with utmost professionalism and care. The prices are reasonable for a good hair cut as curly haircut specialists are hard to find. I highly recommend the OG - Monny for haircut if you are looking for volume. Secondly the staff and the owners (Sarah and Monny) are extremely sweet and they know their job very well. Finally, please make sure you get an appointment because they dont take walk-ins. They really provided quality service and I really appreciate they only focus on the client with appointments as it is hard to find in salons these days where everyone is trying to make money without paying attention to the booked clients. I would recommend this salon to anyone with curly hair or those who are starting their transitioning journey. Kudos to all of you xoxoxo

The results were excellent! I have been very hesitant to go to salons for a while as I am always concerned my needs won’t be catered to or have a stylist that wouldn’t know how to work on my fine curly hair. I was pleasantly impressed with The Curl Therapy approach and Sarah for listening to my needs to fix my hair — that I’ve been cutting myself for the last few years). The process took about a couple of hours, by first sharing my requirements and what I’d like to have fixed, followed by the dry cut (Rezo Style) by Sarah, then a wash hydrate and style with one of the other stylists. For the first time in a long time I felt like despite my fine curly hair that I do have a head full of hair. I have also then decided to go for a buzz cut which turned out nice, but could have been slightly sharper. I am not fussy about it much though as it was my first time going for a buzz cut and wanted to get a feel for it. Overall the experience was very good and I definitely will go again.

Prepare for an extensive review: I first went because I wanted a hair salon that was specifically for curly hair and that actually listened to what I want. The first thing you do when you walk in is say what you want and the main concern of the lovely women at this salon is what you want and what you are looking for. However, if you want to ask them to do whatever looks best on you that is also completely available. I opted for a middle ground where I had a photo of what I wanted but wanted it adjusted to my style. Of course they ask what you are there for, but if you ask them they will say what they recommend specifically for your hair in terms of treatment or care. Sara was amazing, she made sure to explain everything as she went along and answered all my questions. She was very focused on making sure she did what I asked for and what would suit me. I love my haircut and really appreciate the care I was given as well as the environment of the salon.

Communication and timing was great no issues there, but this salon does not know nor have what it takes to cut curly hair and they certainly should not call themselves Curl Therapy. It’s too overpriced for the service you get. They don’t know how to style nor cut hair that is slightly tighter in texture (3c and above). They might be good for waves or other things but not for tighter textures. The hairdresser also does not explain anything to you and does not even use a tangle teaser or a special curls brush for your curls. When I asked her why, she said tangle teasers are bad for your hair (?!), while she continued to pull on my hair with a normal bristle brush normally reserved for finer textures and looser curls. They also don’t do a curly cut, they just pull your curls and basically cut them as if they were straight without focusing on shape. Would not recommend if you have coarser or tighter curls.

The place is clean, my stylist was polite and asked about my concerns. Haircut was done well (although she trimmed alot in spite of my specific request for maintenance of length as muxh as possible), styling was ok but with minimal customization of products to my hair's texture. I have coarse type 3 curls, the product used was not moisturizing enough (evo brand). Witnessed an incident where a young girl came in and another stylist kept repeating to her mum that her hair is too rough and needs alot of work, made the child uncomfortable..also, The total opposite of the mission of a curly hair salon which should promote diversity and acceptance! Recommendation to curly salons, there should be more diversity in stylists, majority of people with curly hair are black, its hard for someone with very fine curly hair to understand how coarser rextures are managed.

The first time I came to the curl therapy, I decided to never change my parlour This place literally saved my hair from all the damage it had been through by straightening and using the wrong products. They also inspired me to be patient with my hair and love my curls. I've been coming here for more than a year and went exactly according to what Sara had suggested me to do and educated me with the type of product that's best suitable for my hair. She told me to stop using heat and use the products she suggested. It has been one year since I stopped using heat and my hair has shown great improvement. All thanks to the curl therapy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who's struggling with curly hair. The curl therapy really does save your hair and bring it back to it's natural form.

I was very upset in the beginning because the hair dresser wasn’t listening to what I was saying and assumed I was exaggerating about my hair until I proved it to her with pictures. Also I didn’t like the fact that they do things without explaining the process. Based on what the hairdresser said my hair should go back to normal in another 6 months. For a salon the receptionist was cold & unwelcoming. They really know how to make you feel like they really don’t care about you and if you ever come back. Also the salon is not clean at all. It’s neglected. How can I expect people to care about my hair when they don’t care to remove the spiderwebs all over their salon. I really thought this salon would be better quality or a high end salon but in reality it’s only high end salon prices.

My little sister has super curly hair and was always tying it back in a frizzy ponytail. I took her here not expecting much and really nervous, especially when the stylist suggested her hair needed cutting. But Julia was soooo good with my sister, so so friendly and taught her how to do the style at home. She was also super accommodating when we came back requesting the bangs to be shortened a little more. Honestly it was her whole attitude that made the experience. She was so good with dealing with a kid my little sister really loved her and made her more excited about curly hair and now she styles her own hair which is something she would never do before. It wasn't just a hair fix the experience was also a confidence boost I really recommend Julia especially for kids.

I went to The Curl Therapy yesterday for the first time. Tried the basic cut + wash and style package with Khrystyna. I was so satisfied with my experience at a salon that specializes in curls. Most curly girls have bad experiences with regular salons since our hair type is still quite misunderstood. And what I can say is, they really know their stuff. I was offered a beverage at the reception and was greeted very smoothly. Khrystyna immediately asked me what I'm looking for and proceeded to give me very good advice on how to care for my type of hair. I will definitely do my haircuts with her in the future again. She was so kind! I will attach my before and after pictures below, I asked for a layered cut and wanted to create volume. My ends were trimmed as well.

Not one to write reviews but here to express my disappointment. Went for a consultation with one of their specialists and they advised me to do a hydration treatment. On top she suggested me to do a hair styling. The price was 350 for the treatment and 200 for styling Being desperate to get my curls I decided to go for it since I have an event in the evening and I was thinking that 200 for a styling would leave my hair looking beautiful… the treatment was average but it’s not like I was expecting much from it. Issue came with the styling!! Literally all she did was dry my hair with a diffuser for 200!!! At the end my hair looked so sticky, super frizzy and ZERO style. I would never leave my house looking like that.

This is probably my 6th time visiting the Curl Therapy, I can’t believe I haven’t written a review before. As a loyal customer (who flies from Saudi to get her hair cut/styled here), they’re AMAZING. Honestly, there hasn’t been one time where I was dissatisfied by their services. They’re all experts who truly understand curly hair, in my case (coily) and they ensure that you’re comfortable. They also give you tips on how to style your hair, I’ve learned so much from them. I also buy my hair products from here (evoo). I recommend getting a consultation with Sara to understand more about your hair. Shoutout to Khrystyna who styled my hair today!

I went in with rather high expectations. My hair used to be straight and has now become textured (2a/2b). The stylist was courteous and attentive, and gave me a lot of advice. The cut she gave me did not work for me, however. The styling left my hair (which is also very fine) very stiff and unnatural, as a result of way too much product. I explained this to the stylist but I didn't really get through, which was a huge let down. I expected to come out of it with a way to manage my textured hair better from a salon that claims to understand, but it wasn't to be it seems. This was just my experience though, and I won't be going back.

First time at The Curl Therapy today and I loved it! It had been a while since I went for a cut. My hair was completely dry and dead and in desperate need of some love, which is exactly what they did. I have been to other curly salons before but the treatments are always very long and complicated. Here they were way more efficient, but still with a lot of attention and care. The result was amazing and I feel like I have my hair and curls back! Everyone was very friendly and there was no judgement about how I take care of my hair (I have had this experience in other places). Will definitely come back here!

Overpriced haircut only to get choppy layers so sharp you could climb them like stairs. It should have been a red flag that you have to sign a document that says you won’t ask for a refund before even getting the haircut. I should’ve run away as soon as I saw this. Basically I gaslit myself into thinking that a salon dedicated to curly hair actually knew how to cut hair. That was a mistake. I’ve gotten better haircuts for $15 from Supercuts rather than paying 400 AED to look like Shirley temple. Save your money and stay far away from this place.

I had the most wonderful experience today at the curl therapy salon specialized for curly hair. They were very professional, punctual and so helpful. They gave me an amazing transformational haircut along with styling and the best part is that they taught me how to look after my curls and which products to use and how to use it, which by the way were very affordable brands. For the very first time my curls looked so healthy and so soft. I am definitely going back in a couple of months for a hair trim and I am already looking forward!

Sara was lovely to chat with and she helped me understand my hair and the need to prioritize health over length without judgement. I was restricted on time, though, and when we noticed we were running late she had NO issues whatsoever with my request for a stylist change so I could be done faster. I loved how accommodating the staff here are, and how friendly, yet professional, they are. 100% will be coming again when my curls need a boost!

My hair was really damaged and I needed a new lift/life, so I showed them a few pictures and they explained that textures are different and may not look the same, which I understood. The team was very informative, asked how comfortable I was with lengths and treated me so nicely. Would definitely recommend them, took their advice as well on the right product for my hair and I liked that they didn't 'sell' anything to be, it was mainly to understand how my hair would react to a product. Definitely coming back!!

This was the best experience I’ve had in a salon. I went with tired, shapeless hair that wouldn’t really curl anymore and went out with beautiful curls. I was honestly so positively surprised. I had cuts at other curl studios before and they did a good job but this exceeded all my expectations. Aside from that the friendly attitude by everyone there was amazing. Amazing experience, they know how to advice you while still making you feel beautiful the way you arrived. You enter beautiful and you leave exceptionally beautiful. I had an incredible experience with Monique cutting and styling my curly / wavy hair. I had been struggling with my routine for some time and she explained everything to me as we went along. She gave me a lovely head massage and cut my hair perfectly. I’ve been so happy since the hair cut and my hair has bounced back. I also bought the products she used in the salon as they worked very well. Will definitely come back!

Our two year old son has super curly hair. We called many saloons and they all refused to treat his hair because of his age. The curl therapy were accommodating and they ended up doing a wonderful job. Julia was very kind, patient and he loved the experience. She also gave us useful tips on how to take care of his hair. I want to thank the curl therapy for the great service and attitude, definitely much recommended.

We arrived on time as per our appointment , but they only took care of us 30 min later. The place is not clean at all. Dirty and dusty floor and equipment. It is Not organised with hair products on the floor and all over the place. The owner/hairdressers are not permanently wearing the mask. Today I went to them for my hair trim and decided on a whim to get my hair colored , on a whim. It was my first time ever to dye my hair, I wanted highlights but my hair is too fine so I didn’t want anything that needed a cut down. krysthyna there helped me chose what should I do and it ended up fabulous . All the staff was very friendly and welcoming . Would definitely be going back to them.

I've travelled twice from RAK to this salon to have my hair cut by Mony. It is my understanding the Mony primarily serves Arabic speaking customers. However, her limited English and my non-existent Arabic were not a barrier in communicating what I wanted. I've had great cuts both times that really brought my curls back to life. The rest of the staff are lovely and really welcoming as well.

Very nice curl cut place in Dubai. They definitely know their products and how to style and cut curly hair. It was my first time experimenting with a short curly cut and my hair did not curl as usual when it was shorter. When I reached out saying that I needed an adjustment in the cut, they gladly set up an appointment and were very accommodating. Great experience. Will visit again soon.

Worst salon ever, they are operating in bad faith. Save your money and don’t go there. I did highlight and styling, for my short hair just for the color they charged me 600 and 200 more for toner which normally comes included In the color and 200 more for styling. It’s really a scam. It’s absurd as if someone washes your hair and charge you for the conditionner. Really bad experience.

Best place to get your curly hair cut and coloured. Sara did a fantastic job cutting my hair and giving me exactly what I wanted! I can’t stop staring at myself in the mirror and smiling. I booked for highlights and haircut. Mony did the haircut and Khrystyna did the highlights. I love that Khrystyna is very patient with me and very accommodating. She’s very sweet. Mony gave my hair so much body with my new haircut, it’s the shortest I had so far but I’m so in love with my new hair rn. It’s something new! ♥️

Hair looked really really good after my appointment but they really do the work that one can do at home with the right products. Go if you have the money and want convenience. Also, IMPORTANT note: they don’t really wash your hair! I’d say they just wet it. So please wash it yourself beforehand or go with clean hair.

I’m so glad I have found a place that specialises in curly hair. What they offer is completely unique and I was so impressed with the service I received. They understand my needs for cut and colour. Not to mention how friendly they all are. I couldn’t recommend it enough for any curly haired ladies out there!

I’ve gotten my hair cut at The Curl Therapy once, out of curiosity to try a saloon that’s dedicated for curls. I was really happy with the cut, but why on earth does it cost Dhs.400?! The service is really good, but the pricing is just ridiculous. I wouldn’t visit the saloon again just because of the rate.

Sara was super friendly and professional at the same time. After the cut I was in a bit of a shock but it's been a long time since my hair got a professional curl cut. I love my hair. I feel like it became so much lighter but full of life. Worth mentioning how relaxing the whole process was.
