We arrived hoping to get a light meal and something to drink however, the kitchen was already closed and they could therefore only accommodate us for drinks and/or cake. We then opted to just have drinks as, we could see they were waiting to close. To be fair, it was very quiet and we understood that it wasn’t worth staying open. Their business hours sign on the window (see image) which is quite humorous, does leave room for them to open and close as they see fit but, it makes it hard for patrons to know whether they’ll be open. I had an iced coffee but, it was very weak as the coffee to milk ratio was a bit off. The service was however quite good as the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and the decor was trendy. I look forward to giving them another try when the kitchen is open and I’m able to try their food.

While I do enjoy this franchise's menu, this particular branch is never the nicest for me to go to as the service is rather slow, from receiving the ability to order drinks to receiving the drinks and this rolls into food all the way to the bill. I've never known breakfast to take so long. While I do not mind a more relaxed pace there just seems to be a general lack of generally accepted structure of good service, that or the establishment is always upder staffed. The food has always been well prepared, fresh, presentable and not like an oily Wimpy or Spur breakfast. In conclusion, if you are more chill than I am about service in order to receive good food, by all means turn up and give it a try.

The first time popping in at the daily and I was pleasantly surprised. They make a great flavored Latte. I had a decaf soy latte with vanilla syrup. We just popped in for a quick takeaway coffee but will defs be back to have a meal as the food smells amazing. The 2 big coffees were R109. Large flat white and large flavored Latte. Over the past couple of months the service has gradually been going backwards - such a pity. Having food delivered in drips and drabs, it being the only restaurant where you have to get up and pay at the counter because waiters don't visit your table regularly. This branch definately cannot be compared to their other branches. It used to be our favorite spot, but sorely no more.

What a brilliant little find! Some of the best coffee I've had in the northern suburbs, and the food and service is absolutely incredible! The waitress (Megan) also baked the most delicious Banting cheese cake! It's going to be our new favourite breakfast and lunch spot! It's perfect for quick meetings and the modern and relaxed atmosphere is just lovely!

Unfortunately we arrived during loadshedding. Thankfully, a reduced but decent menu remains on offer while the power is out. The wife and I were both happy to order the eggs Benedict with bacon and a large cappuccino. The breakfast did not disappoint. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. All said and done, a really good start to the morning.

Cooper, my medical service dog was literally received with open arms, a bowl of water and a bowl with treats eagerly provided with a huge thank you wave and a hug from Cooper. I can come here without the anxiety of being told my service dog is not welcome, to enjoy a cuppa with the best breakfast bowl you have ever eaten. You guys rock!!!

Food is great and always fresh but the service was very slow. Not sure if understaffed but we were in a hurry and ended up asking them to box the food for take away. Will go back to see if staff attentiveness has improved. Great food and low score based on speed and attentiveness to customers trying to catch anybodies eye.

I used to LOVE this place. A nice add-on was the loyalty card which made me think...ja that is my preferred place. Since they started with charging for Large coffees (but that is the only coffee i ever buy) when you supposedly qualify for a free coffee. Now I am looking elsewhere for my daily/weekly coffee treat.

I grabbed some coffee at The Daily yesterday. What an awesome gem we have here in Durbanville! The owner was super friendly and the coffee was delicious. I highly recommend this coffee shop! I've been here a number of times now. Lovely staff, Lovely coffee, lovely vibes. Today I ordered a breakfast bun, and now I hate every other breakfast bun I've ever eaten because they were nowhere near as good as this was. THANK YOU FOR THE FOOD! This lovely coffee shop has the warmest most welcoming feeling. The waiting staff and owner are friendly and always going the extra mile to make your visit a happy one. The food and coffee is great and reasonably priced with alot of extra menu items beyond just coffee. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Was a great stop for a cake and some coffee, friendly and helpful staff. Their recommendations on which on the cakes let us choose the best Carrot cake in Cape Town. It didn't disappoint It was moist not too sweet and so filling. So if you want to try a great coffee shop do stop by and have a try.

I have been to this establishment a couple of times. I went today for brunch and had a chicken and bacon bagel. Saucy and perfect amount of spice. It was amazing. Good size portion, I was only able to finish half. I would also highly recommend their naked burger. Such a cute, zesty, little cafè.

A happy place! Staff always friendly and service quick and efficient. Food is delicious and of high quality. I love the free home baked cookie with the coffee, plenty of stuff to read and complimentary wifi. Oh yes and they have a loyalty card...one free coffee for every 10 paid for

Usually, a coffee shop has the same old variation of eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, veggies and salads bit this place had some great, tasty food for a reasonable price. Definitely worth a second visit. It's a pity it's so far away from everything. Definitely a better option than M&B.

This place is like the home away from home, every single time. Friendly staff, good value for money and the owner loves to check in with the patrons. Also, the crowd that hangs out there always seems so chilled and friendly. Their name is spot on as I could pop in there daily!

Thought we would try out this new restaurant on our block (on Darwin). We were very disappointed. Service was super slow, even though it was not busy. The waitress was not familiar with the specials and our simple order took over 40 minutes

Great food. The owner is solution focused and professional. Waiting staff are friendly but need a touch of knowledge in terms of the menu but it's all new do that will definitely improve. Overall great breakfast experience.

Slow service. Pretty yucky food for the price of it. Was not a pleasant experience. Definitely would not recommend this branch to anyone. Rather visit their melkbosstrand branch, better food and better service.

Fantastic atmosphere and service. The iced latte was smooth and the peanut butter smoothie was pretty big. Tops for the patato waffle, with poached eggs, bacon and spinach with hollendaise sauce!

Their menu looks good, our table only ordered 4 of the available items and these were tasty. Prices are average and coffee is good. The shop is a bit cramped and very noisy when full like today.
