100% Recommend Nathan @The Diamond Store Nathan instantly restored my faith in honest Jeweller's the moment I met him. I came across Nathan after I had been to another Jeweller. I had over 100gms of old gold with various diamonds and gemstones in them, cut sapphires from Glen Innes that my family had fossicked, along with a rough idea of what I wanted. I was really looking forward to the process of turning the old gold into 3 pendants - 1 for my mum, myself and my daughter - especially because my mother had contributed to the gold pieces. As well as a new ring using the sapphires and diamonds, and adding a ruby - the birthstones of my children. The previous Jeweller told me I did not have $500 worth of gold, that I couldn't use the sapphire I was hoping to and it would cost me quite a bit more for bespoke pieces. I was so disappointed and lost heart in my grand plan. Then I saw Nathan - straight away he weighed my gold and gave me a rough price on the gold. I had just shy of $2,500 worth of gold on that day (pricof gold that day). I could not believe the difference in price. I came back to Nathan and had it all officially costed - he worked with me on the new designs I was hoping for, gave me input on how to work everything out and was so easy to work with. I was able to get my 3 pendants made up, plus 2 rings - all bespoke pieces and all within my budget. Such amazing service and I'm so grateful to have found and worked with Nathan.

Would NOT recommend this jeweller to anyone!! Horrendous customer service, they are so rude, extremely over priced. I went there to have my engagement ring resized, they charged me $550. My ring came back and was still too large so when I asked for it to be resized again he told me that it would be really difficult to do and to come back after Christmas because they were too busy to do it at that time. I then went to Prouds jeweller and they charged me $50 and I had it back within the week. The lovely ladies at Prouds were appalled at how much I was charged by The Diamond Store. The Diamond Store is a pathetic excuse of a jeweller and I’m surprised that they are still open. I will never go back there and have told all my friends and family to never step foot in that place.

Completely overpriced. Charged $250 for a ‘valuation’ which is basically looking at a ring and taking a guess on how much it’s worth. When said we wanted a certification they quoted $1000. Went into the city, Pitt St, and got the certification done, which requires removing the diamond and replacing, for $240. Upon enquiring a valuation usually costs between $50-100. Save your hard earned $. Check the other reviews, they charge big $ for basic things. I could only imagine what markup they put on their jewellery.

Nathan from the Diamond store has been our family jeweller for a number of years. I cant recommend him highly enough. He has created rings from Sapphire stones I have bought and the rings are beautiful. We bought our watches from him and my watch is the best one I have ever had. At present he is fixing my gold bracelet, that I bought years ago in memory of my Mother, as its very difficult to open the lock now. He is making the lock into a pendant for me. Nathan your amazing. If you're looking for a beautiful ring, I would highly recommend The Diamond Store. With an idea of what my now fiancee would like, I gave them some parameters of what I would like and a budget. We sat down and discussed what they could do for me. I genuinely saw that they cared about what I wanted and they crafted me a beautiful ring. It is a custom ring based off of one of their designs. Amazing customer service, and a spectacular ring. Definitely check them out!

I was dismissed by the rude man when I took my necklace in for repair told me it was costume jewellery when in fact it was 9ct gold didn’t even bother to check it.

I came into the store last week, was greeted by the man there who was rude and he very short with me , I found him to be extremely unhelpful. Lost my business.

Owner/manager was rude when i questioned his assertion that i couldn't exchange an item again if it didnt fit. Arrogant and unpleasant. Wont be going back!
