We follow The Incredibles, love them but unfortunately not happy tonight. The supervisor or manager as she said she was, she needs more training, she wasn't very friendly at all, not even apologetic. When we have negative experience like we had tonight, we always feel bad because we're Asians, we're being discriminated and it's a horrible feeling. She's not even apologetic, sooooo unfriendly. So Cristy (not sure about the spelling sorry) maybe you should think about how you handled the situation. It might be your policy but not everyone knows that, we've been a good guest, ordered food and bottles of wine, enjoying the band...then all of a sudden, our glasses of wine were gone with the bottle of wine that was newly opened. That was sooo wrong!!! Why? Are we supposed to hold our glasses and the bottle of wine while dancing? You know if you were just apologetic, it would be ok but the thing is, you handled the situation negatively. Few guests came to us and told us we should complain as what you've done was wrong. We were able to speak to someone higher in position (Corey) who's a very nice guy who promised us that he'll speak to you Cristy, maybe you should think about further training, your manner sucks!!!

Took forever to get served a drink,& they need to train there staff on disability and treating people with respect. My daughter had chosen this place based on Accessibility and when I asked to use the lift I was denied this and told It was for disabled only! "You don't have to be in a wheelchair to be disabled", so when I asked once again I was told for wheelchairs only" excuse me!" I said I need to use the lift please to which I was denied for the 3rd time and told that doesn't work and I and I know damn well it did because a friend of mine is in a wheelchair and she had just used it I will not be recommending this place as disabled friendly. Please note I had asked in a polite manner. The atmosphere was good until I asked to use the lift plus they also turned off the music at 1am and put sport on the big screen, I didn't go to a club to watch sport I went for the music etc. Very disappointed

Nice infrastructure . Potentially one of the best places in town to watch a daytime AFL game on weekends- if only the bar manager didnt insist on playing their own personal music soundtrack over the commentary volume on non Crows games, even when it was obviious the whole bar- including vic tourists was watching Carlton v Melbourne and several polite requests for commentary were made. Get in tune with the customers...

Came on a Saturday night for dinner and there was an acoustic artist playing covers. Cool space with 2 levels. Beers on tap are Pirate Life and not expensive. We got the sliders which were good, also tried the bitterballen, also good. You might need google to help you figure out the menu ;) This space is cool to watch live music and has a kind of open roof that let's you see part of the sky whilst also covering you.

They use a QR code for ordering and after waiting 20+ mins we asked about our order and apparently the printer didn’t print the ticket. Waited a further 50 minutes for our order, looked around at the other patrons and they weren’t ordering or eating so I dont know why the kitchen couldn’t produce two meals. My side salad with just arugula with no dressing? I’d suggest other places for same price point

Food was great and there was a guy singing and playinghis guitar, staff were friendly and very helpful, we were from Melbourne and we asked a few people were a good sports bar was and 9 out of 10 people didn't know, we ate then went next door to the sports bar....very handy! Probably need to advertise The District a bit better so more people can enjoy it

A brewery in the CBD, located upstairs in the casino, now that’s different. Good atmosphere, great live music and the brews are good. Definitely some different and great locally brewed beers here, the passion fruit beer is a must try. Staff great but service at events not so great even when reservations made. Wait times for food especially needs improvement.

Very average experience here at the district. Steak took almost 2 hours to arrive and needed to ask the staff multiple times to locate my order. Busyness can be excused, no worries, but the quality of the meat and the meals (wings and burger) my friends got were also pretty poor. Recommended eating elsewhere in the city before you come here.

Best place to watch live sports and enjoy beer! Watched UFC 262 Live - Good Atmosphere. Well priced menu & speedily prepared meals. Enjoyed a selection of 3 starters and all were excellent. The beer options were ample and I enjoyed the staff service. Very clean, COVID safe and everything was new. Will certainly return again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place. The employees were great host for the party. Super clean brewery throughout. Restrooms are some of the cleanliness that I have seen. Now the beer... the beer is smooth and great tasting ....I didn't taste any bad beers. ABV is well balanced. Worth the time...it is a little hard to find. Definitely fun place to come back..

Would recommend coming to The District on a Friday/Saturday night, and a Sunday afternoon… especially to watch live band such as The New Romantics, The Incredibles Band, Mr Buzzy, etc. Would also recommend coming up here or heading to the cafe downstairs for a good feed!!

The District has some terrific entertainment options with live music and "The battle of the Bands" promotion currently happening. Saturday night was busy and keeping in the Adelaide tradition was "party central" with a good crowd that was managed well with responsible security on hand..

  • Michael Blackwell

Having not been to the Casino in many years, I was pleasantly surprised to find an awesome live music venue nestled within its swollen abdomen. While the drinks are tad on the ridiculously expensive side, the venue offered a fun alternative for losing money. Great nights to be had here!

  • Mick M

Amazing atmosphere and superb reno which makes a very unique pub/bar setting. I really enjoyed my time here and the staff we great. My only complaint was one of the dishes can out still half frozen; however the staff again were good about it and refunded without any issues.

  • Susie Watson

Popped in for a quick drink with friends. Staff friendly and helpful. Live music on the night not to my liking but others seemed to be getting into the groove. Bit chilly as the roof top is open to the elements. Glad I was rugged up. Much better with no smoking these days.

  • Darcy Ferrier

Great spot, good drink prices at happy hour (4$ at 4pm, 5$ at 5pm, 6$ at 6pm). TV screen is cut off by the railing which isn't great, but adequate. Safe to say I left my keys there by accident but the Casino recovered them without a hitch and I have them back. Thank you!

  • Raam Iyer

The best local brewery in the cbd. wonderfully serviced. Thanks a ton to Violet for helping me choose the beer I best like and as a result a wonderful experience. Must visit and must try the pirate life Hazy IPA loved it. Thanks a ton for the wonderful experience.

  • Gemma Traeger

First few visits have been good. Always seems well managed, no big queues even when it's busy (that I have experienced). We've been lucky to end up here when there's entertainment on which has been a highlight. Great great atmosphere when there's live music.

  • Liam

Depends on whos playing. Often sleazy crowds and cheapos mixed in. Or oldies who think they're big men trying to take over your table. Not often a nice crowd unless you know the group's or the performers.

Staff are very calculated in the way they scam their patrons during happy hour, intentionally waiting for the clock to tick over so they can charge you extra for drinks even though you were waiting in line when you should have been served a

Good place to spend some money, have a meal, but, but,on busy nights , especially after an event at Adelaide oval there's way to many people in there for the space, and just trying to walk through from Hindley st, surely is a safety concern

  • Dan Salib-Brown

We went and saw a comedy act during the fringe. Understandably, super busy so our food took over an hour to get to us, orders were messed up and drinks didn't come out until the food got out, my parents had to reorder their drinks because

Great venue in the CBD, well priced Pirate life beer, food specials, friendly staff and live music. Dropping a star because the music is quite often waaaay too loud. There's a reason no one wants to sit near the speakers …

  • Tomas Neumann

Really nice venue, always good to have some free live entrainment available. Drinks are also very well priced. Only thing that someone could pick on is the size and how is always packed shoulder to shoulder.

  • Vagary Chen

Great vibes with nice decent food. I guess its best restaurant in Casino. You can get T-bone just for $20 only on Sunday!!

Great gig! I saw Daryl Braithwaite and his band at The District. Awesome performance and great venue. Staff were really helpful and one of the girls behind the bar was dancing when Daryl sang The Horses.

  • Kym Lammin

Best place for live bands and no fights. The staff are super friendly. Been heaps of times and will continue to go!!! Especially after a Port win the place is packed and rocks all night long!!!

  • T E

It was strange to collect your own food from the kitchen window, this is a lack of service issue. Otherwise food was nice. And if you like watching sport during dinner it’ll be a vibe.

Tricky place to locate, given its location we had to crawl through a mountain of degenerates. Forced table ordering through the app without the entire menu. Great wings though!

  • Lisa Holloway

I have noticed lately the beer list is the same, but not updated, the taps are actually the same week after week. When they run out of a beer it stays on the board. Very poor.

  • Luke B

When the place has a crowd it's pretty awesome. Has a great atmosphere about it. Well spaced out. Lots of beers to choose from. I always got there when I pop into the casino.
