This shop has lot of good furnitures for really cheap price. But the workers here are very rude. They promised me to deliver it at my convenient time when I bought them. Later on when I called them to fix a time for delivery, they said they can deliver it only after a week, that too at their own convenient time. The height of rudeness was, when I asked an approximate time, they said it could be any time of that day and if no one is there at home they will leave the furniture outside the main door next to main street, they are not responsible for the furniture if anything happens.

Had to do a swap for a bed that we couldn’t get through our door, from their other store. It took 1 phone call and we were ‘sorted’. They were so nice about it, that we bought another 2 bed frames from them. As an added bonus, they are opposite a McDonald’s so you can have a munch on a sandwich after you’ve made a purchase to give you enough energy to fill up the van. We will be back next time, it’s well worth the effort!

The staff at the shop are very friendly and were really prepared to go out of their way for me when my (second hand) settee did not arrive with the right feet. Fortunately they had a set of replacement feet in the shop which I could take home with me the same day.

Friendly staff and volunteers In the charity shop you can find: - beds and mattresses - cupboard and drawers - sofa's - chairs and tables - camping gear - glassware and other bits and bobs - DVD's if your still into that. There's a car park in the back entrance.

I'd like to praise all the staff at Slate. Without exception they are helpful, cheerful and always welcoming. The delivery/collection teams are efficient, polite and friendly. Please donate and buy from this wonderful charity, they do amazing work for Leeds.

Very good for second hand items I go there regularly if that dnt have wat you want you can be assured they will get it I love that place delivery charges are very reasonable the staff are very helpful keep up the good work

The staff managed to get me a next day delivery at a bargain price. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for furniture on a budget but don't try to barter them .. I think their prices are already very modest!

A great charity where you can pick up a bargain and feel good doing so. We use this store and the Armley shop and have picked up some amazing furniture, art and even a new toaster! Staff are friendly and helpful.

Used to be a charity shop, but now seems to be another profiteering business. They seem to forget that their products were donated freely for people with little if any money to benefit

You can find there brilliant second hand furniture, vinyls and some white goods. The staff is very helpful. Visits are highly recommended as the stock changes frequently.

There are always fantastic deals with them. 10p for dvd. 50p brick and brack items. Always full bags of treasures. Lovely staff . Payment by card from 1£.

Some of the items are good. Delivery peoples are not great. But in shop the staffs are good.
