I’ve been to the glam room 4 times. My first visit was with Cassandra (Level 2), which I really liked. We cut about 5 inches off and she had good conversation. I was happy! Then things went downhill. My second appointment was supposed to be with Cassandra again for a trim. I checked in at the front desk and ended up waiting for an hour. Nobody checked in with me, Cassandra fully did someone else’s hair while I sat in the chair waiting, not knowing how long I would be waiting for. No offer for a drink, no apologies for the wait, nothing. I kindly let the receptionist know that I didn’t want to wait any longer and I would reschedule for another time. I thought, it’s okay things happen, I’ll book again. I booked my next appointment with Michelle (Level 5). This appointment went fantastic and they actually did not charge me for this trim, but I tipped well. I decided I wanted some layers and highlights a few months later. I booked an appt with Mimi (Level 1) because I did not see any availability that fit with my schedule with Cassandra not Michelle. My hair is dark brown and virgin hair and I wanted just very subtle lighter highlights. Mimi applied my highlights with a brush (without sectioning) and Saran Wrap rather than foil because she said she prefers it. She then sat me across the room and I waited for exactly 1.5 hours without a word from her while she completely did someone else’s hair start to finish. I was wondering for a while if she had forgotten about me. She finally shampooed me and proceeded to do an olaplex treatment on my hair that she later charged me for without even asking if I wanted it done. It was not necessary to the color and she did not let me know she was going to do it or I would have declined. Then came the cut. She cut layers and curled my hair, I did not see my layers until she had already curled my hair because she had turned my chair away from the mirror. I loved the way she styled it and was happy leaving the salon, feeling confident, even though I only straighten my hair, never curl it at home. In the next few days I started to realize my layers were an inch longer on the right side of my head than the left. Even my dad noticed, so that says something. My highlights were so splotchy, it looked like she didn’t separate them, because she didn’t, but it was so noticeable. For a $300 experience, I was devastated. I called the salon and explained nicely that I was not happy and they wanted to make it right, so I went back in and Mimi “fixed” the layers, but they still weren’t even. I gave up, and being a shy person, said okay and left, accepting my hair. Two months later I’m ready to get rid of the layers, I’m over them, they are growing out so strangely and even more uneven. I book an appointment with Kylie (Level 1). At 4:30pm they call me and ask if I can come in earlier, at 7pm instead of 8pm. I say sure I can make it, and rush to the salon after my workout class. When I arrived the receptionist was so nice and offered me wine. Kylie, who I never met before, came over to me and said “Are you Taylor”, to which I replied “Yes hi!”, to which she responded “I’m doing my friends hair right now and we just chopped it a lot and I’m running a little behind but it’ll be only like 20 minutes is that okay? We tried calling you I think” I had no missed calls or voicemails and my phone had been on all evening. They didn’t call me. I was okay with it and felt optimistic that this experience would be better. I said “of course! I’ve got my wine I’m good!”, thinking that it would only be 20 minutes. 45 minutes passed and Kylie was still cutting and the girls hair was wet. I knew it was going to be at least an hour before she got to me, which put me back at my original time of 8pm. I kindly let the receptionist know that this is not the first bad experience I’ve had here and I was sorry but I was going to leave. She felt so bad and I assured her it was okay I wasn’t mad just wanted to have a better experience, and I left. I’m disappointed because I’ve heard good things but I do not recommend this place.

I have so much to say about my visit today with Michelle Green. As a local beauty service provider, I was referred to her by another local, highly respected beauty artist. I had my 1st appointment with her after spending the last few years looking for a new, competent stylist and... I have finally found her! I am a curly girl, a blonde, and also a local spray tan artist who gets really brassy easily. I came in for a curl cut only and left with a cut, and a glaze that exceeded my expectations... all in just ONE HOUR! What?! Now, let me just explain, I have been to some of the best, highly recommended salons in the metro, all of which hijacked my entire day, told me my blonde hair was "a journey that would require several visits to achieve and maintain" wayyyy overcharged me, and left me highly disappointed by time all was said and done. NOT today. In fact, it was the first time a stylist did not insult my hair, tell me how damaged and dry it was, or make me feel bad. She listened to what I wanted and what my concerns were, and she did not act as though she knew more about my hair than I do when I explained my past experience. My hair looks fabulous and healthy, it shines, my color look better than it has in over a year. I am also pleasantly surprised in how reasonable their pricing is as when I was checking out I braced myself for a shock that did not happen! Thank you for a top notch experience today! I will be a repeat client for sure!

My only hesitation in writing a review of Justin P. is the fact that you might go, you might love his work so much, and then he'll have one less open reservation spot open the next time I might need a service! I have dark hair and a thinning hairline. My hair was long and mostly one length, with some curtain bangs that wouldn't cooperate. Justin (1) helped me learn tricks to hide my showing scalp, (2) took into consideration my face shape and appearance before talking me through cut/style options, (3) added layers in just the right places, with the right amount of weight and shape, (4) actually TAUGHT me how to curl myself -- as in, put the iron in my hand and coached me through it so I would be able to do it at home myself, and (5) didn't oversell me anything when I asked for the right products -- he literally gave me exactly what I needed, nothing more or nothing less. His assistant is wonderful. She is very kind and was throughout and detail-oriented during my wash and all other elements of my service. The salon itself is beautiful. The people who own this business have considered every detail, and it's a well-run machine. From the website, to the breadth of services offered, to the culture and feel and smell of the salon -- this is the place. Thank you Justin! And also, Alison is just as amazing. Very talented. You'll be in great hands with either of them. Thank you both!!

I worked with Mao to get our bridal party set up for services to get pampered a few days before the wedding and she was extremely professional, helpful, and most of all patient! We booked about a month out and coordinated everything in advanced so we could show up and basically not have to worry about paying on that day. And of course because we’re girls (lol) we had several changes along the way up to the very day, Mao and the Glam Room team was very accommodating and was able to make quick on the spot changes without missing a beat. Now to the service - they booked us staggered so we didn’t have to wait on each other which was perfect as we all were eventually done at the same time in the end for our next event. All the technicians were very sweet and very pleasant with us. I had Angelina and Jordan for waxing and they were the best!!! The sweetest to talk to and I was sad to leave the room when service was done. Mao is amazing at nails! We were chopping it up like we were old acquaintances from back home and it was a genuine homely and welcome feel to the whole team as I observed my other girls in conversation with their own nail techs. I believe Michelle was my hair stylist and she was so sweet and took care of my mane as a last minute change - overall excellent service and great company. Thank you Glam Room for the experience! You all are awesome!!

After posting a not so great review (below) the owner did call me personally and offered to better my experience in the salon. He was very kind and understanding which I very much appreciated. You can tell he really cares about customer experience so if there’s something you don’t like it’s best to speak up (in person) instead of leaving unsatisfied. “I do not normally comment poor reviews or give an opinion off of one bad experience, but I have there several times and have had a bad experience 80% of the time. 1. The shampooing has been awful. I am hard headed for the most part but the about of hair getting caught in stylist fingers/pulling of the hair is horrible when your paying that much. In general, the price per quality does not match up. 2. When getting hair highlighted they should not have to rely on a ton of toner, in my optioning, to hide imperfections. I’ve noticed that once the toner fades the highlight itself has been done poorly. I’ve had several times where the root touch up did not get fully highlighted thus causing a spot. (Fresh highlight - new growth - old highlight). 3. I was about to be charged for a full highlight but the stylist had only done a Partial highlight and did not correct the invoice when checking out. I had to say something myself & started to wonder if they had done this previously before. “

This is a VERY good Hair & Nail Salon They are VERY professional, especially when it comes to following CDC rules !! I felt very safe ... Sylvia ( i think that’s her name ) helped me did my all appointments. In the Nail room, Bao did my pedicure. She is VERY good & very friendly. They empty every other spot to comply with social distance. You all can see how the Manicure section has wide strong acrylic that separates the one that is doing your nail and the client, and also, there’s a wide tall acrylic that separates every client Jessica is VERY good .. i could see that when she was doing manicure for her client. I wish i had more time so i could also have her do my manicure there. Justin did my hair ... he is VERY good too .. i was very happy when i walked out. My hair looked exactly like what i wanted, and thicker as i let him apply the Kerastase Genesis that he suggested me. I also bought 1. And i also bought 1 to apply at home, and i can see that my hair fall is getting less, and also easier to shape and better style ❤️ Thank youu Justin, and also everyone at the Salon !! I will definitely recommend you all, also would like to come back if one day we are back in Kansas City, Missouri in our RVing. Keep well and be safe Everyone ❤️

Very disappointed with the manicure. First the prices are nothing close to the website.They charge according to the level they are which they don't say when you call to book a service. So big surprise on the end price is about to happen. The girl that did my nails made sure to give me a discount which was very nice and polite and professional! On the other hand the end result of my dip powder manicure was nothing close to good. Color was perfect and application seems correct but the manicure care itself was close to none. After clipping down the nails no file and shape was involved which I realized very late into the process cause I was in a conversation. She dipped the nails after only taking care of the cuticles. No shape was done and I made sure to tell what shape I like. But no shape was involved. Crooked shapeless nails straight into coloring. I shaped my nails myself cause I couldn't look at that uneven mess anymore. If i ever do my nails here again , I will make sure to hover on every step of the process since a few steps dissappear along the way. The girl who did my nails was very nice, polite and fun , but end job was done poorly. It's a shame cause I was waiting to do my nails for so long and I was very excited..which didn't last for long.

I’ve never left a review in my entire life and I wouldn’t even leave a review if I just had an unpleasant experience. My stylist was polite and the staff was friendly. I booked for a fantasy color which is set on their website for the price range from 150-170 or somewhere around there. Knowing what I was asking I was very willing to pay 200+ with a tip included because a stylist was going to work for probably five or so hours on my hair. I have short hair - above my shoulders. It was dark blue and they brought me to a copper/auburn color. Not exactly the color I wanted but I was just happy to see the dark blue gone. I paid for a conditioning treatment and my hair still feels like straw. I understand with lightening damage is to take place but I had incredibly healthy hair as my stylist even pointed out. For it to go to this level of hay-like feeling while paying for treatment is actually insane. I feel dramatic even typing that. Back to the pricing ? I was charged $439 and I gave $500. After reading reviews, they do not disclose that they charge depending on the level of stylist. It is NOT advertised :/ So disappointing, I wanted to love this place so badly. If you visit be sure to consistently ask throughout your visit about pricing and add-ons

I was going to the Glam Room since I moved to KC about 2 years ago. Since my first appointment there I was seeing Beth for my lash extensions and brow waxes, I go in 2x a month spending over $100 on each visit, but it was worth it because Beth is amazing at what she does. During my visits I saw so many (especially front desk people) be fired, quit, replaced, whatever, and each time wondered what was going on with this place? I have worked in salon environments multiple times and the turnover was never this bad or this obvious. We’ll come to find out today (day of my appointment) they decided they no longer needed Beth or her clients and let her go? I got a call a few hours before my appointment that it would be cancelled and they don’t have anyone else to do lash services. They also said in the voicemail that they had tried to contact me previously, they had not, I checked my phone records. I’m now left scrambling before a big event, after I have spent $1000s at this salon, and now the ‘points’ I had from services are useless as well. Will never be going back - even if they get a new lash tech.

I just had a birthday and was in need of a hydro facial and refresh. My appointment was with Angelica- After the hydro and derma plane my skin feels amazing. She is very well educated and sweet. My skin is so soft and clean now and I realize how bad I needed this. I felt really pampered when she was doing her work. I also decided to get some preventative Botox and lip flip and although it was a lot of injections to get all at once, she made me feel very comfortable and she was so fast and gentle. I was out of the spa in 2 hours and it was by far the easiest injection experience I have had. She specifically paid attention to the details of my face and muscular structure and explained to me the placement of product which every professional should do. I really appreciate the care she took to ensure I had a good experience and I’m really excited about my results. She is my esthetician from now on. Book with Miss Angelica and you will not only feel beautiful but be able to relax and have the best care. ❤️

Pretty disappointed with Christian at the Glam Room. I was able to get in with her for a haircut and her reviews looked good, but wasn’t impressed. She was very quiet the whole time and felt like she was rushing. Like, I was wasting her time because it was just a cut and not a high priced color or highlight. She barely talked and I had to initiate the conversation, which I never do because I’m not very social. It was very awkward to me, because usually anyone else I’ve gone to is very friendly and doesn’t stop talking. You could also tell she just wanted to get it over with and move on by the way she was rushing through everything. She didn’t even style my hair afterwards. She blow dried it and sent me out the door. When I got home and styled it myself and I noticed she missed a large piece of hair that was about an inch longer than the rest of my hair and had to cut it myself. I don’t like making negative reviews, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend her.

The Glam Room is a whole vibe! From their welcoming front end staff to all the great friendly stylists. My daughter and I saw Maddie for our first time here. We have long thick hair and literally don’t trust anyone with it simply because no matter where we’ve gone stylist would choose their length for us. Which is so frustrating since they ask how much we want cut… not to mention paying good money for horrible uneven cuts or them being bothered when asking to correct it. We experienced the complete opposite here! My daughter was so relieved that Maddie cut the perfect amount off and was all smiles. I decided to go shorter with face framing bangs (which is bold for me) and I was so happy with the outcome. Maddie earned our trust and truly listened to what we asked. She also recommended great products which we are super pleased with. Besides paying for parking the Glam Room is amazing. This is our new spot for our hair care.

Previously, this review talked about an unfortunate incident with a staff member working at the salon. I’m deleting that comment and updating because the salon owner went above and beyond to rectify the situation. And he did it quickly too. He acknowledged the customer service challenges we faced and assured me that was not business as usual for them. We chatted and I can tell that this is a man who cares about his business and customers. The stylist who my kiddo sees is amazing. My kiddo has struggled with confidence and things like that. Parker gave her a cut that unlocked something in her and it set the tone for a growth in confidence that is amazing. She’s out there, being fully herself and rocking life and no small amount of credit goes to how wonderful she felt in her own skin after her experience there. I’m very grateful that the situation was able to be rectified and that we can still come and recommend glam room!

I have been going to the glam room for facials, for about 3 years, and have been more than happy with my experience! I always see Angelica M., and she goes above and beyond to make sure I look and feel my best when I leave. She remembers all the little things about my skin that drive me crazy, and helps me find lasting solutions to those problems. Sometimes it products she offers and sometimes it's a more holistic approach. I appreciate her calming demeanor, her knowledge and expertise and most of all her! I cannot wait for my next session! My typical treatments are Microderm along with alternating hydrofacials and glam facials. No matter what service I go to her for, I know I am going to have a wonderful experience! Scheduled haircut appointment for a Sat and the hair stylist didn’t look like she want to be there that day. The water to rinse off my hair was way too hot. Most hair stylist would check with customer if temperature is good but she didn’t. I requested a hair treatment but had no idea what she used at all. She put few products on my hair and wrapped for probably 2-3 min before she rinsed them off. That’s the quickest hair treatment in my life. I also asked about the makeup they have and was told that someone would reach out to me for discussion. My email and phone number were provided to them and one week has gone by and I haven’t heard anything. The owner called and apologized what happened and he definitely take this serious and wanted to make it right and ensure his customers are happy with the service. I appreciate the phone call and the store credit offered.

This was my first time at the salon and I had heard good reviews on it! My artist was very sweet but I had sent in multiple videos ahead of time to show her what I wanted. She put me under the heat lamp and then after she took me to wash it out and she said “so I couldn’t get you to the color you wanted”. Which surprised me a little because I have gotten my hair done numerous times and went even lighter in one session with my hair still being very healthy. And this time I didn’t want as blonde as I usually go but then she dries it and I see that it was nothing of what I wanted. Even after the artist acknowledged that she didn’t do what I asked for she said I could book another apt for 2 weeks out to go lighter but I feel as though I shouldn’t need to come back and pay for it again if it would have been done correctly the first time.

This was my first time going to a salon for a haircut and my experience at the Glam Room exceeded my expectations. My friend recommended the Glam Room after getting a haircut from Jordon a couple months ago. I signed up for a cut & style with Chelsea and she went above and beyond for me. I came early for my appointment and got to start early, didn't have to wait at all. Chelsea did an amazing job shampooing and conditioning my hair. I asked for feathered layers and curtain bangs and she took time through each step of the haircut to make sure it was shaping up to be exactly how I wanted. Chelsea also took her time and had exceptional attention to detail while styling my hair. She did a fantastic job. I will definitely be back here for my next haircut.

I have been seeing stylists and aestheticians at the Glam Room for the past year consistently. Each time I've gone, I've had a wonderful experience. Everyone is helpful and welcoming. My most recent visit, I had Jess color and cut my hair. Not only did she listen to my "wishlist" for my hair, she was able to accomplish it! She did an amazing job. My hair felt healthier coming out of the salon than in a long time. Jess also made you feel right at home through the whole process. I also consistently see Jack for hydra facials and eyebrows. He always knocks it out of the park! Super knowledgable about skin types and problem areas/remedies. I walk out of the Glam Room each time I book feeling amazing and enjoy the time I spend there!

I had an appointment a couple weeks ago and am still thinking about it- I HIGHLY recommend Kalin Coffey for your hair needs. She was the most sweet, professional, & understanding stylist who genuinely wanted me to love my hair. I could tell that she goes above and beyond for her clients and she is very knowledgeable about hair care. I’m extremely picky when it comes to my hair and usually avoid getting it done but she made me feel comfortable the entire appointment. I’m so impressed by the perfect color and blend- not to mention my hair looks healthier than ever. She did AMAZING and I will never go to anyone else. I left the salon in love with my hair- I can’t recommend her enough!

After moving to KC last year, it’s been a long road of trial and error to find a new hairdresser but my search is now over! I had the absolute pleasure to have my hair done by Alica at the Glam Room Salon! Not only is she a sweetheart and super talented, but Alica was able to use her expertise to bring my vintage haircut back from a botched mess from a previous salon to perfect old Hollywood glamour again! When the other vintage/pinup girls in town told me that she’s the best in the city for vintage hair, they were not kidding! Words cannot express just how in love with her work I am. There’s no one else in the city I’d rather trust with my hair than Alica.

The service there was excellent!! I was seen by Alica and I have no regrets. Walking in, you could tell this was a five star place! I was greeted and offered something to drink as well as made very comfortable by the front staff. The service was perfect and Alica walked me through every step which I appreciated very much. Additionally, my hairdresser was very nice and only talkative when I talked which is nice because if you like to talk a lot (like I do) they actually respond and don’t ignore you like most stylists do. Anyways, I loved the clean and welcoming environment as well as the kind and nice staff. 10/10 would definitely recommend

I saw Michelle yesterday. Let me just say I can understand why her clientele is massive. She's absolutely incredible. She treats you like a human being and not like another number in her chair. Demi was also amazing to visit and work with. At no time during my appointment did I feel pressured to buy anything, or make any decisions that made me feel uncomfortable. The atmosphere here is very welcoming. I would like a tour of the salon the next time I visit! I think I found my new "salon home" for years to come. I've been going to Rebecca McBain at The Glam Room for years now. Rebecca is kind, personable, and she always sends me out the door with an excellent haircut. When you walk into The Glam Room, you can immediately tell it's a professional and pleasant atmosphere. Everyone is nice and helpful and they offer a complimentary drink while you wait for your stylist. It's also worth noting that they throw a great annual party for the employees and customers! They have free drinks, food, and entertainment and it's always a great time. They make you really feel appreciated as a customer. I recommend this place to everyone.

Justin did an amazing job with my balayage!!! I just moved to Missouri about 5-6 months ago and never found a place that actually treated me and my hair so beautifully. I have such bad experience with people dyeing my hair that I started using box dye. No more after this experience. It was my first time at this salon and I absolutely loved it. Everyone is so kind and extremely talented. I highly recommend Justin because he did awesome with my hair, but everyone else is just as talented. I was looking at all the customers’ hair at they were beautiful. The service was outstanding and I HIGHLY recommend this place!!

I absolutely love coming here! I get my hair done by Mimi and she is absolutely the best with color corrections and has been wonderful helping me achieve my platinum blonde dreams. The other stylists are also wonderful and I've seen them all produce great work and happy clients. The salon's Facebook page has some great examples of stylist work to give you an idea of what stylist you might want to work with. This salon really does it all. From skin care, hair, and nails, this is truly a one stop shop for all your pampering and beauty needs. Great owner, friendly environment, and reasonable prices!

If I could leave 1000 stars, I would. Kelsi is the best stylist I think I’ve ever gone to. She not only gives me the red hair of my dreams, but also informs me with everything I need to know about hair and what she’s doing. Thanks to her, I have the most beautiful copper hair color I could ever want and my hair is finally growing from being fried off from bleach. I get compliments practically every day on my hair. Not only that but all of the staff is so welcoming and sweet each and every time I come in. It makes the couple hour hair appointments less harsh. Could not recommend Kelsi enough!

I highly recommend Jessica Guillermo for your hair needs. She was by-far the most professional and accommodating stylist I've ever had. She was patient during my consultation as we figured out how to take me from a dark brunette to an icy blonde balayage. She made sure I was comfortable with a glass of wine and water during my appointment. Her coloring technique impressed me, as is far from streaky or chunky. She also gave me a refreshing cut, which came out even and framed my face nicely. I left the salon truly in-love with my new hair and thrilled with my experience at The Glam Room!

Edit: Carl reached out to me and has gone above and beyond to make amends for the situation. It is clear that he truly cares about customers experiences at his salon. I have seen Christian twice. The first time I got a phenomenal cut but the color was not at all what I wanted. I decided to give them another try, this time the color and cut are not at all what I wanted. I got layers that I didn’t ask for and look horrible, which can’t be corrected unless I lose another 3” of hair (picture for reference). Very disappointing to pay $300 and be unhappy with the service you received.

I got my hair cut and colored by Paris at Glam Salon and I couldn’t be happier! From the consultation to the helping me get the right products Paris was simply the best. She saw my inspiration photos, she was honest about procedure and cost and offered her artistic opinion. As a recent transplant from Chicago my expectations were high and Paris truly exceeding them all! A beautiful salon, full-service (I look forward to more services) and everyone I came into contact with was full of smiles and helpful. Paris - thank you for for making me feel so much better!!!

Justin and Tori did a phenomenal job! I usually get my hair cut once every year or two and I go to a beauty school. I wanted to try going to a professional salon for once and it was worth every cent. They listened to what I wanted and offered advice on how to properly care for my hair in a way that works for me. They were also so sweet and lovely to talk to. As someone who gets very nervous about haircuts, I really appreciated the way they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Can’t recommend this place and specifically Justin and Tori enough!

Let me just say this... Before finding the Glam Room, I never returned to the same salon. I just couldn't find someone that knew how to handle my hair. However, Ashlee has gone above and beyond making me feel at ease with her skills and customer service. Not only does her conversation make me feel at home and not like I'm sitting forever, but the confidence she has does not make me hesitant for any request that I give. She has done braids for me, Chunky heavy highlights and cut and layered my hair. I have never been so please with the service.

Randa saves the day! After a truly traumatic experience at another salon where I was extremely unhappy with my results and even embarrassed to go out in public, Randa got me in for an appointment to cut my hair that had been butchered by another stylist. She was extremely professional, and took her time and a lot of care to make sure that I left in a much happier state. My experience with her literally changed my entire mood. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I would have gladly pay twice as much for the service that I received.

I’m approaching 30 and decided it was time to start Botox! Angelica was very informative and did not pressure me at all. She made polite suggestions and made me feel empowered to make my own decisions. She gave me clear aftercare instructions and took lengths to make injections quick and to distract from the (minor) pain with each one. I’m very thrilled with my results and have recommended her to other fitness that are considering Botox. I didn’t think to take any before pics (silly me!) but I notice a distinct difference.

I got a facial done by Heather and this was my first experience not only with The Glam Room but also allowing someone so close to my face. Heather made me feel very comfortable, very welcome, relaxed and beautiful. She is very personable which I love! She made sure that I was comfortable the entire process and was the absolute sweetest! I HIGHLY recommend her! She also took her time even though it was close to closing. The environment was very LA like, the photos do not do it justice... this place is just beautiful!

I was shocked by the amount of hair salons that are closed on Monday’s, but happily found that The Glam Room was open! I was also shocked by the affordable price I paid with The Glam Room. My appointment was with Kalin. She was so friendly, kind, patient and made me feel like she genuinely cared about my hair and if I liked it. She made sure my cut was to my liking and curled my hair too! She was seriously so sweet!!! I already booked another appointment with her. I 100% recommend The Glam Room and Kalin :)

I visited the Glam Room last Friday to get a cut and style. From the time I arrived everyone was extremely nice. After waiting a few minutes a young lady came and introduced herself. Kalin was her name. She was super nice. We discussed how I wanted my hair cut. She wasn't sure about the terminology I used because it has changed over the years but she allowed me to show her what I wanted and she did and excellent job! This was by far the BEST haircut I have ever had. I will be seeing her again!

First, I'd like to say I LOVE the Glam Room they are all so nice and welcoming there. They all help and talk to each other about what they are doing and really seem to collaborate well. Second, I wanted to give a shoutout to my girl Cassandra she does so well at communicating and figuring out what you want to do with your hair and she does it so well. Also she was kind enough to let me grade while I was getting my hair done, which I really appreciated since I'm so far behind (I'm a teacher).

I get regular facials with Skyler, and all of them have been amazing. I never used to get facials because they caused me to break out after, but that has never happened with Skyler's facials. My skin is glowing and I get so many compliments; especially after the hydrafacial. Skyler's facials are so relaxing; the facial massage is incredible. She tailors the services to what my skin needs at the time. She's the sweetest and it's always been such a lovely experience. I highly recommend!

I absolutely cannot stress how great this salon is. The atmosphere is welcoming and beautiful. The environment isn’t only itself beautiful and filled with comfy chairs but also the employees are friendly and welcoming. They truly make you feel like family. My hair stylist was Justin. 10/10 recommend! It was my first time in and I booked another session in a month for hair coloring. Thank you Glam Room for hiring stylists who are focused on delivering excellent customer service.

Today was my first time coming to The Glam Room off Riverside and I am IN LOVE! Everyone is extremely welcoming and polite. It is amazing to know that this Salon has practically everything you may need from a haircut, dye, wax, nails, fillers etc it’s definitely a one stop shop and I am here for it. Sydney did my hair and will definitely be coming back again. I don’t really trust many people around my hair thanks to it being super thick and corse but Sydney 100% nailed it!

I had my first appointment with Tori last night. My last haircut I had was in the summertime elsewhere, and it was pretty bad. I hadn’t touched it since, fearing I would make it worse. Tori worked her magic and I finally feel back to normal! She blended my choppy layers and made my curtain bangs look so so good. Also was able to get rid of my nasty dead-ends finally. She’s really sweet and personable too, definitely my new go to gal! Thank you for your awesome work :)

I definitely recommend you book Justin! He is very knowledgeable about hair as well and told me so many helpful things about hair care! And Sydney was magic with the hair dryer. I’ve been coming to the glam room to see Angelica for several months and I wish I would’ve been coming to her for every month before that! I know my brows, lashes, and skin are best taken care of in her hands. Not only is she an incredibly talented aesthetician but also she provides a very warm and welcoming space. I look forward to every appointment because I know I’ll leave looking better and feeling better. Could not recommend her services enough!!

I received a hydrafacial from Heather and it was amazing! The whole experience was so relaxing and I really felt like I was in good hands! Heather is extremely knowledgeable and she explained the process step by step! I felt really comfortable especially because I have hyper sensitive and problematic skin, and she made me feel at ease. I will definitely be getting my routine facials from her! Plus the products she recommended for my skin was spot on!

I made my appointment with Rebecca McBain. When I came in, I had hair down to my waist, it was very damaged and over processed from bleaching. She was very patient with me and talked me through which route we were gonna go with cut and color. We ended up doing a huge chop! And the outcome was better than I expected! It was so healthy and smooth and the color was perfect! I will definitely be going back to her on the regular for all my hair needs!

Extremely happy with our experience here. We took our 10-year-old who had a very specific idea of what she wanted, and they did exactly what she asked for. Then, they kindly humored my toddler by putting her in the seat and braiding and curling her hair. The salon is beautiful, very clean and nice ambiance and seems like they have a lot of services. I’ll go back minus the kids! Best experience I’ve had in a very long time. Highly recommend.

My esthetician Skyler takes such good care of me and my skin, when i leave i leave glowing and i feel completely refreshed. I’ve been seeing her for about 6 months now, and when i went in for the first time my skin was so dry and irritated… currently i no longer have this problem and i absolutely know it’s because of the skin care treatments she has been recommending and providing me. Beautiful salon, beautiful results. i love this place.

Jessica Guillermo is a phenomenal hair stylist! She was very kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. My fiance swooned over how gorgeous my hair was when I got home! My teenage daughter had Ellie as a hair stylist that day too and she was amazing as well! My daughter was so excited when we got back in our car stating "we found our new hair place mom!" I can't say enough nice things about Jessica and Ellie. Thanks ladies!

Friendly staff. Welcome drink ( wine, beer, tea, coffee). Wide variety of services you can enjoy. If you wanna treat yourself come visit us and be pampered. Clean and spacious facility with very chic decor. The restroom is also well-maintained. The parking can be a bit of a problem since it’s in the River Market, but otherwise the location is great. A bunch of great restaurants to go to before and/or after your salon visit.

I would happily give the Glam Room 10 stars! It's elegant, luxurious and sophisticated. They have upscale products but the staff are never pushy or pretentious and the pricing for services is very reasonable. I regularly see - and love - Alica but I've also seen Nick (brows) and Cass for hair and everyone is great. There's a sense of cooperation and support - they're all there to make you look and feel your best.

I always see Angelica S when I want a facial and she does amazingggg. I’ve been seeing her for a couple years now and she makes me feel so comfortable. She also helped me with finding products that work for me. She didn’t try to sell me everything, just what she thought I needed. I’ve strayed from those products a couple times over the years and my face started breaking out again. She really cracked the code.

I discovered The Glam Room a few months ago. The entire staff is incredible. I highly recommend Christian for all your hair needs. She is a master at color and highlights. She is so sweet and attentive and very knowledgeable. She recommended the perfect products for my curly hair and knows how to cut my hair so that the curls look and lay beautifully. My hair has never looked better and is so healthy now.

I wanted a last minute appointment a few months ago and Jordan had a spot open. I couldn't be more happy with all the services I have received from her. I was very nervous and she was super welcoming and walked me through everything. I will always go to her and would recommend her to everyone looking to get anything done! She is so amazing at everything she does and tailors her services to each customer.

I have been going to Kalin for a year now for my extensions and she does amazing every time! She always gets my hair color to match just right and blend in with the extensions! She is also very precise and makes sure that my hair is perfect and I am happy with it! She is so nice and also very knowledgeable about how to take care of my hair and what products to use! I received my first facial last night with Heather! She is very professional, knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable. They walked me through the initial consultation easily and made sure I was feeling great and liking everything through the whole process. I went in for a pedicure. We got write in at our scheduled time. No wait. They young lady was very nice and personable. The treatment and massage of my feet and legs was awesome. It felt wonderful. The only thing I didn't like was the way she clipped my toenails. She just clicked them straight across and didnt shape them. Other than that service was great. I will definitely go back to her.

I had such a great experience at The Glam Room! It’s beautiful, relaxing and the results of the hydrafacial and dermaplane with Heather took years off. She explained everything as she was doing it, answered all my questions and thoroughly pampered me. Heather’s passion for healthy, glowing skin makes her such a great esthetician. Skyler made me feel comfortable during my first facial, and was so patient in answering all the questions I peppered her with. She gave me a personalized skincare routine and is already sketching out my treatment plan for the next several months. I’m excited to go back. The salon and all its employees are so warm and welcoming! I think I will be a regular for as long as I live in KC.

LOVED having Justin Pierson as my new hair stylist. Made me feel super well treated, and my hair was literally a dream. Worked with my curls and made me love my hair even more. I’ve always had a great experience coming to the Glam Room. Christian consistently does an outstanding job, and I am always able to trust her with cutting and styling my hair so it looks amazing. I like how the stylists often have another person training under them to help with hair washing and drying. Always have great conversation and very kind people. Best salon around!

Jacob Rau is the absolute best!! Not only does he make you feel heard and comfortable but he does an amazing job! I’m so incredibly thankful to have had him there to take care of my hair (and me). I've been going to the Glam Room for a couple of years now for my hair cut & coloring. Michelle is wonderful and listens to what I want done. She always remembers me when I come in and is super flexible if I need to change or modify an appointment. All the employees there seem to genuinely love their jobs and coworkers, too, which is a fun environment to be in.

I have been seeing my esthetician Heather at the Glam Room for over a year and she is the best! Not only do I have a pleasant wax experience, but I also get the best eyebrow tint and shaping I've had. Heather always listens to what I'm looking for and she is so sweet and great to talk to. I highly recommend seeing Heather for any and all esthetician needs.

I cannot say enough great things about Justin and my experience with him! I typically refrain from professional services because I’m an incredibly picky/detailed person. However, on a whim I decided to try something new with my hair and Justin DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Every aspect of my experience with Justin was phenomenal. Will definitely be back to see him.

I had a great haircut here with Kalin! She was so nice and we had a consultation about what I wanted. This is the first haircut I’ve ever had where it looked exactly like my inspiration pictures. I asked for fringe/ bangs where previous salons have told me they could not give me bangs due to my widows peak/ cowlick. But Kalin did and they are perfect!

My daughter got a facial last night with Angelica. My daughter is 16 and came out beaming! What a great experience for both of us! I am taking her back with me for another facial with Angelica when I get may hair done with the wonderful Kelsi! The Glam room is so fabulous and you feel fabulous when you get there and when you leave! We love it!

I had Justin cut my hair, and the result was incredible! He was very professional and easy to talk to. I showed him a picture of the kind of hair cut I wanted, and he was more than happy to accommodate to the style. He also informed me on tips and tricks for hair styling on my own. Overall, great experience. I would recommend him to anyone! :)

For my birthday, my best friend made us appointments with Jordan for lash lifts and eyebrow waxing with tint. We had a great experience! She was very knowledgeable and shared every step she was taking with us. We had great conversation the whole time. The appointment was well over 2 hours, but we still had a blast! I LOVE THIS SALON!! I’ve been coming to the Glam Room to visit Rebecca McBain for over five years now and have never had a service I wasn’t pleased with. Beautiful extensions and color; even tried a few mermaid shades and color blocks on my under layers. Always a great experience, and I even get to enjoy a glass of wine while relaxing.

I have recently had an appointment with Bryson for a Botox treatment, and it was absolutely wonderful! I LOVE going to see Heather in the spa anytime I need a nice relaxing facial! This time around I opted for a derma plane and WOW!! The results were so amazing and my skin looks and feels so glowy and amazing. I definitely recommend Heather for any of your skincare needs!
