"Truly an experience for the whole family"
"Plan your trip to include both a day and night viewing - in broad sunlight the glinting cans are magnificent, but at night, with the recessed lighting glowing, it’s a whole new experience, especially for kids"
A modern masterpiece of simplicity evoking reminders of social gatherings and hangovers past. A grand collection of frothy amber and gold. A towering testament of the artist's love of beer and sculpture. Evolving and multiplying over time we can only guess where the genius artist will take us next. More
The general impression created by the Great Can Wall of Moorabbin is one of great serenity, enriched by a definite air of mystery. The serenity comes from the muted colour scheme, the soothing sfumato tonality, and the harmony created by the can's pyramid-shaped pose and understated drapery. More
I walk past this art experience everyday and I have to say, it's saved my life. I now no longer yearn for the taste of the cold steel barrel of my shotgun in my mouth at night, and now wake up happy, excited, and hopeful, that I get to experience the great wall of cans every day! More
Truly an experience for the whole family. 12% Imp Stouts for Dad to the soft drinks for little Billy. It’s been a pleasure watching this grow since 2021. Hopefully the right kidney gets it’s own wall soon! *Please to allow up to 20mins in queue for peak hour viewing.* More
Plan your trip to include both a day and night viewing - in broad sunlight the glinting cans are magnificent, but at night, with the recessed lighting glowing, it’s a whole new experience, especially for kids. Like Christmas lights but all year around. More
I’ve come all the way from the UK and this is such an amazing experience for me and my fiancé to see day and night. Worth every penny. I even got to meet the people behind the great can wall and they was absolute nobs but great drinkers. Respect! More
Trying to identify the various IPAs, etc is a great way to distract yourself from the fact you are still at the same traffic lights for 10 minutes on South road heading east. Watched this wall evolve over the COVID years. Highly impressed. More
Usually so impressed but honestly devastated to see it has partially collapsed. Like the great colosseum, monumental landmarks must fall into disrepair at some stage of their great life but this was akin to the loss of a family member …
Watching the GCW come together over the last couple of years has been amazing to watch, started small but now really something. Surely one of the greatest engineering feats to come out of Moorabbin, alongside the Immaculate Levitating Porch
I recently found myself on an impromptu trip to Moorabbin in the small hours of a balmy Saturday evening. You see, I've been banned from the majority of the "oriental massage parlours" in my area and upon hearing there was one in Moorabbin,
This art installation has really brought Moorabbin to the forefront of the modern art scene. A true spectacular, the Great Can Wall comments on post-consumerism and reflects darkly on the self-medication that is an inevitable feature of the
As a child of 90’s England, my father would occasionally drive us from Kent to Highgate to visit his sister. Passing through Dalston he would marvel at the colourfully painted Jamaican houses and take enjoyment in their vivid technicolor…
After my visit to the Great Can Wall of Moorabin my outlook on life has shifted. I feel like I have secluded myself in a remote, undiscovered Siberian cave for 15 years quenching my thirst with a water droplet from a lone stalactite every
A truly breathtaking spectacle, images alone do not capture it's true beauty! Even though climate change has slowed it's growth over recent years it still evokes deep emotion and one can't help but reminisce of days gone by Cans > Cairns
I started dating the most amazing art grad student . I didnt know where to go for our first date but knew that I wanted to impress her. After finding this place online I decided to take her here after reading the reviews. I told her to
Lovely set of cans. If you're looking for a place to visit on a day trip this is definitely in the top 5 things to see in and around Melbourne. Adventure down to lovely industrial town of Moorabin and bring the kids too! It's great fun
Truly an inspiration on my way to work every day. As the South Rd traffic crawls on, lanes backing up each time some genius tries to drive across them, I see this wall and repeat to myself, "I think I can. I think I can."
This Great Can Wall of Moorabbin is more that just some cans stacked. This is a breath taking experience with a very diverse selection of cans that all tell their own story. Highly recommended for any pregnant women. More
Very few places in the world make me smile whenever I go past. Though this place does. Reminds me of my days as a teen. Messy rooms, sleeping in till Jerry Springer.. coffee and cigarettes. Good times.
Certainly one of the better tourist attractions in Moorabbin. Has exceeded expectations, looks incredible, the lights enhance the experience. Would recommend making a trip just to see the wall. More
the so called “wall” is a window which didn’t feature my favourite can…disappointed. Oh & not to mention the grass plot next door gives you bad hayfever. Not worth the sneezes & itchy nose.
Great place to bring the entire family for a fun day of can spotting. My favorite is the can of Dr Pepper. Can't wait to see what's next. 10/10 would recommend to a friend
Living near the Great Can Wall has doubled the value of my property. They say it's so big you can see it from the Moon! Or Morris Moor... I forget which is which. More
A must see when visiting Melbourne. Parking was easy to find and just an incredible art installation. Seriously you you have to see this! More
Makes the south road commute so much more tolerable in peak hour. Kidney stones be damned it's one impressive collection More
every time i drive past it’s like a glimmer of light in the distance providing the sunshine that my soul so desperately needs
A Can-Do Experience for the Whole Family! Step into a world where aluminum meets art at the Fabulous Wall of Cans!
So exciting to see the founders of the great can wall continually adding to the landmark! 10/10 would visit again.
Truly a glorious experience. It's free too! I'd take my future wife here to propose

I drive past it every day, I've enjoyed seeing it grow over the years. Keep it up!
Can confirm that it's the greatest can wall in the southern hemisphere.
I feel privileged that I get to see it every day on the way to work
