I had my hair cut and balayaged by the very talented Tessa, and I couldn’t be more happy. She explained everything super well, tailored my style to me and how I style my hair everyday, and perfectly nailed what I was wanting done. As it was my first time getting my hair coloured, I had no idea what to expect, but she was so welcoming, gentle and an excellent communicator; all my worries melted away. She layered my hair beautifully, and her dog Teddy just adds to the experience giving the best basin cuddles! My hair feels and looks amazing, and I couldn’t be more grateful to Tessa for her amazing work. This salon is amazing, a lovely studio and with very talented and friendly stylists, highly recommended!

Mark is so talented and has a lot of experience in the industry, particularly with perms (which is a trend that at is coming back!). He has a skill and understanding of how to make the best outcome for his clients. My friend and I have had two perms each done by Mark. Both of us have different hair types, and he catered the treatment to our specific hair. I love my curls ! It has really tamed my frizzy hair to a more structured curl.

Owner Mark is an incredibly talented curly hair cutter. He has so much experience and a lovely personal way with clients, which makes it a relaxing, calm visit. I felt confident from my very first visit and I trust him completely. If you are a fussy curly girl looking for a new salon to start a relationship with, I highly recommend Mark at The Hair Loft.

Its always a pleasure coming here and i wouldn't think about going any other hairdressers in Hobart. Mark and his Team are kind, professional and do a fantastic job. The studio is beautiful, full of natural light and the recent renovations really make it (even more-so) a very comfortable space. Thank you very much.
