I used to really like this store but lately they are back sliding on customer service. Here's what happened... I wanted an electric screwdriver to use for hobby work. Looked it up on the app and saw that the Cambray store had what I needed. I needed to stay in the $20 to $30 range. Went to the store and the app said they had 2 in stock. Found one hanging and went to cashier. That's where the problems started. First off it was twice as much. Cashier said to go take a picture of the tag on the shelf. Came back and was told the sku # was different so I asked for one of the two the app said they had in stock. Went back to look for the correct product. A vendor helped but couldn't find it. A store associate showed up and he couldn't find it. When I said the app said 2 were in stock the associate said they don't go by that unless it shows 10 OR MORE BECAUSE OF SHOPLIFTING! They found others at other Home Depots in my area but none had ten or more so why would I want to go chasing around town for a $25 electric screwdriver? No options were offered so my time spent there was a TOTAL waste. I'm not saying to not shop Home Depot but I would make it my LAST place to shop. I passed up a McCoy's to go to this store and there's a Lowe's not much further away. Bottom line a customer should not be sent back and forth by employees when they need help and asked to take a picture of a tag (store wasn't busy on this weekday mid-afternoon) and if the inventory gets below ten then restock or do something about the shoplifting.

It was probably ok 3 weeks ago but after the last time about 5 days ago I was treated horrible. I had 2 Items that I was paying for separately. I purchased an item with a business card, as I have on hundreds of occasions before. Two Items that were sitting in the child seat of the basket I was going to pay for separately with my personal business card. A woman there right away questions me about; if I am going to pay for those separately?, before I even finish paying for the items that I selected for the business, I do contract work for. I replied, "Yes I am paying for those separately" then I guess because It took me 20 seconds to find my card in my wallet a man standing in the corner that works there gave me the most suspicious look or (being accused of look) that I have ever seen in my lifetime. I will never go back. We spent probably $20,000.00 minimum with one of the 4 businesses I purchase for, at this store alone, in the last 2 years. This is how I get treated? I will go to another Home Depot location from now on, even though one of our businesses is 1/2 a mile down the street from this store. Next time wait to see if a customer leaves with items without paying before you question them. I was at Bandera Home Depot and used 3 different cards in one purchase and they didn't question me. I have done that several times.

Very bad experience to the end. I first came in and asked a younger man, who was at the front, where I could find lights. 100% was accurate, but as I came to the back, I found all the light fixtures but no single fluorescent lights for the kitchen, they were all two packs. I asked another girl (young near the cashier checkout line, who didn’t seem to know, so she asked another girl then who got the so-called manager wearing a gold bracelet, black shirt, and glasses, the guy was in his 20s. He seem very excited to tell me I couldn’t buy a single instead of a two-pack. I also noticed a lot of damaged products, where one whole box was ripped and someone took singles and paid, though I did the right thing, he turned me down. I told him, please check with loss prevention to narrow down the losses. I used to work with loss prevention, and it’s too lax here. The more experience helpers. The guy at the front ( great job), and the guy drawing the forklift near the end of the light fixtures, great job for pointing the lights I needed were actually near Bath. The date I visit was 10-30-22 Time frame is 11:00 to 11:18 am. As a top reviewer, I give 2 stars.

PLEAE READ...Watch your information that you give to Home Depot. Went in to return an item, apparently when they input the last 4 digits of my Home Depot card, it crossed to a different customer. I have this lady's full name, address, phone number, email, etc, etc. Now this is the last thing I would ever want to happen to me, even the location manager wouldn't even come downstairs after speaking with her through customer service on the phone. I want all of you customers to imagine that this is how people get identities stolen from large corporations. They did not look out for the best intrest of that customer by any means. I will contact her directly to let her know and destroy all her information they gave me. I don't want her information or anyone to get a hold of mine the same way.

Seems they were out of many of the tools I needed.... Took over an hour to locate and having an associate help me. Had to bring down from overhead shelves and if you know anything about that... It takes forever to find someone and locate. This will be a last resort location location for me just not because of poor stocking when I went to my vehicle a orange flat bed cart was against my truck with a sizeable dent... Managment told me to call sapd non emergency number to get Video of the accident. Already wasted an hour an they wanted to waste more time. The parking lot is kinda on a hill so heavy carts can pick up speed and do this kinda damage. Just fyi there are plenty more locations that are safer.

Customer service is horrible. I tried to exchange, NOT RETURN a paint that was purchased at this location and the paint associate and customer services assumed that I added water to it just because it was watery. The reason why I wanted to make the exchange was that exact same reason! Whoever made my paint didn’t do their job and I paid the consequences. I showed them the policy and nothing worked. Best way to return something if you aren’t happy is through Home Depot customer service online. They were able to give me a full refund. Never coming back to this store where the employees assume someone is trying to steal from a company that’s not even theirs.

Normally come to this homedepot all the time for my work needs, and never need help with anything. However, don't ask for help for anything If you're a female they will help everyone else in the spot you're at BUT you. Stood waiting for almost 30 minutes (asked them twice *paint and a register check out guy* to page someone!) for someone to come help me get something off of the very top top shelf. Eventually just pushed the latter where I needed it and climbed up there myself to get my item down. Especially when an employee came into the area and helped a whole other person and not myself. Ridiculous.

This store is nearby my house. Big mistake to come here late at night. Waited over 15 minutes for someone in lumbar to assist with a simple task. The employee was extremely unprofessional, slow and dressed sloppy. When I requested a specific cut the employee seemed confused. I located the wood and my boyfriend lifted it himself. Also, to make matters worst my boyfriend had to measure it out and almost cut it. If I had been at Home Depot alone I wouldn’t have been able to purchase my product. Extremely disappointed. Spoke to the manager on duty and will be contacting the corporate office.

Online orders are always delayed and they don’t do anything about it unless you try and call in and wait 1+ hour plus on the phone if the call doesn’t drop. Pro desk cashiers are fine but it’d be a miracle to get any help to load stuff. In addition I ordered closet drawers for pickup and after 1 hour waiting at desk to pick up order they told me they had mistaken the inventory displayed online. I keep coming back cause they are near my house but be ready to be delayed and not get any help. Get to work Home Depot - make this store better.

Short staffed. I asked for help 4 times and they were clueless. The app shows they have plenty of stock on the item I was looking, but it seems the items are still in boxes on the top bins. An associate in the front paged for help in the bulb section and in aisle 25 twice and nobody ever showed up. The lines to pay self checkout was extremely long and only 2 registers open and the line was so long and very slow. I have no idea what her job would be but maybe trying to help many of the customers asking for help.

NAYELI , the only specialist scheduled today , was nowhere to be found to assist me with carpet cutting. Came around 1700 , waited for 45 minutes while other associates were trying to get a hold of her, I left and came back 2 h later just to be in the same situation, she’s still not reachable and the night manager could not track her either after several attempts. Is unbelievable how an employee on clock cannot be reached for hours and held responsible for her long absence from workstation.

Would have got a 5 had I not had to check out myself. Short staffed poor guys and gals. Got my curb side as quick as they could. Inventory was off said they had 9 of what I was looking for but only found one bottle Back again 06/11 getting worse. One cash register open and got in line behind 8 people. Customer service had 2 people standing there but wouldn't ring me out. I refuse to self checkout out without employee discount.

Offer curbside pickup and then some want to actually take anything out to you. Just keep saying they are coming and never come out. I saw someone else get fed up and go in to pick up his order and the staff looked irritated tha they were forced to do what they are getting paid for. Then they stop answering the phones when you try to call and speak to a manager about it. Its been over half an hour and I'm disabled.

Typical Home Depot. Nothing fancy. Was disappointed that I wanted to buy a single 9V battery but they only have packages! Why would I want to buy one and throw it in a drawer for a couple of years? Not necessarily what I consider to be options-friendly towards individual consumers, but I am sure that contractors will buy all this in bulk.

I’ve been going to this Home Depot for years. You can find everything you can possibly need for home renovations. I’m in the middle of remodeling a bedroom and have found light fixtures, paint, bathroom light/vent, door knobs, bulbs, closet, etc. Reliable employees with a kind and ready to help attitude— 10/10 recommend!

Very very careful while u rent the truck!!! Check the gas and also make sure you include the wait time to return truck! They include all that in your rental time. It is better to avoid renting truck with my bitter experience. They made me wait 25min to return the truck and included in my rental time.

ordered curbside lumber. didn't even know i was there. order was ready, got the email.. had to go inside after waiting almost 30 min. then took another 20 to get my order. and there were a lot of bad pieces. i've constantly had issues with online store pickup with many things. very dissappointing..

Try looking for a M8-1.25, it won't be there plus you'll find an assortment of different hardware in its exact location. They have to at least organize it once a week for the customers, just give us a break. Lots of people searching endlessly for simple items, what a joke...

This store is always a mess. Because it's so messy, it's harder to find what you're looking for. I interacted with 7 employees during my visit and let's just say that 5 of them were helpful. The other two, don't ask. The store had three of the four items I was looking for.
